PoliticsRe: Threat To Igbos - Beyond What They They Say & Fear For The VP by bros1234(op): 12:43pm On Jun 11, 2017
NairalandHowTo:
Nobody will agree with u. Only Igbos spend all their energy to insult Hausa, anything north, Islam, Buhari, Yoruba if you're Muslim.

So don't come and rewrite history, it is never 50/50
Bro, politics is a two sided coin. Always try to see both sides. Today, in the US, the democrats and so many American states are making caricature of Trump, including building a naked sculpture of the man. You should also know that some states voted to exit the US immediately he won. And till tomorrow, demostrations and all that will keep happpening in all of US gainst Trump.

Now flip it. When Obama won in 2012, some states voted to get out of US. Obama was compared to a Monkey, called a jihardist and so on.

That's politics for you bro.

It happened to GEJ in many ways. I'm sure you can attest to that. Now, it's happening to Buhari, but this time, from the other side of the divide. It's just a circle. And it's not going to stop soon. But when critical issues like the subject of this discuss comes like this, we owe it to ourselves to reason outside of the box.

My two cents

Your sit at home was within your right as far as I'm concerned and I support your biafra as long as you don't insult me.

The north felt they have had enough and want you to leave their region. I think they were helping and supporting you because moving back to the SE was the appropriate thing to do.

You ibos have no idea how irritating you can be and I think the north just couldn't stand your insults anymore.

The hate is real, stop deceiving yourself.
What sort of sociopathic idea suggests that insulting a tribe 24/7 is a healthy thing to do? It's totally unacceptable anyway you look at it. I can understand one-off hard jokes but to always turn every single topic into an avenue to insult people is sick and there's no excuse for it. Ibos harbour bizarre and twisted mental delusions with their one and only target being Yoruba. So how do you expect us not to be relieved when you are being pulled by someone else?

Every tribe has its own but you ibos broke all rules and there's no coming back for you. No one wakes up one day and hate as much as you do, it definitely has to be inborn.

We don't need to think this through, you are just getting what you deserve. It's be long coming.
I think that the online hate is equal between both tribes and not one sided as you assume. For example, this thread was born out of a critical look at the entire scenario, but your contributions so far has only pointed fingers and insulted the Igbos, without even giving any objective reason to counter the conclusion of my first post. Now, here are two possible things most likey to happen as the discuss progresses...

1. If I want to match you word for word (Which I won't and you can't force me to) I would have started giving it back to you, using derogatory cliches and all that

2. Someone else will bump into this thread, read the contributions, quote you and match you word for word.

So you see, it's a 50/50 thing. The NL Igbos believe you are insulting them and want to give it back to you. And the NL Yorubas feel same too. That's just what's happening.

Now the big challenge comes when one lets this becloud his real life judgement, such that he can't reason again outside that perimeter. This thread is simply asking you and others to try and reason a bit outside the perimeter of NL Igbos Vs NL Yoruba fighting. Don't fail the readers.

@Op, you need to stop roping Yoruba in your predicaments. And yes I refuse to buy it. The north doesn't want Osinbajo to be the president, so are the ibos or is it not the same nairaland we have all been? So cut the crap, you ibos hate Yoruba and won't hesitate to destroy us if given the chance. I've said it in the past that any Yoruba living in the north is on their own, so is the SE. North was even at one time friendly to Yoruba, when has the east ever been friendly? Never! While it's time for all to go our separate ways, smart Yoruba wil always pick Hausa over ibos. Hausas are crazy and play cutthroat politics and all but do not single us out to treat any differently from the rest of the country and don't have the hatred ibos have for the Yoruba. The north is not our friend but ibos are our enemies. It's actually a welcome relief when the north is on ibos case as it is now because it gets ibos focus off Yoruba for a minute. I pray for more of this heat on you guys, we need some peace and can't wait for you guys to just leave and go. I'm sure Yoruba have seen blood in the water and strategizing. Sitting on the fence is also a great tool for us while you two go at each other and then strike when we see.the opportunity.
One question for you bro...

1. Biafra agitators does a sit at home, which was optional.

2. Arewa youths replies by issuing a threat that Igbos should leave the North.

Question : How does this correlate?

It's unfortunate you're allowing your reasoning to be clouded by the e-fights between Yoruba and Igbo on Nairaland, which in real life is not even the case. In real life I see hustlers trying to survive, wrestling with bad leadership. I know because I live in real life.

Yes, each tribe have their peculiar negatives, but judging one tribe based on the e-fights here on Nairaland is just plain absurd.

Sometimes it's okay to just think out of the box. You're not going to be charged for that
PoliticsRe: Enough Of This Igbo And Yoruba War On Nairaland by bros1234(m): 11:34pm On Jun 10, 2017
This is my observation too. When I check this site, the kind of war and hatred i read between Igbos and Yorubas make me shiver. But in real life is not that.

In real life I see hustlers all trying to survive. Yes. There are peculiar negatives with each of the tribes but it's not as you read it here.

May God help us

The most stupid, self-defeating, Nigeria-shatering move the north can make now is to oust the VP. If they ever get drunk enough to do that, then it's over for One Nigeria.
Bro, it's not as easy as you make it sound. I want "One Nigeria" shattered tomorrow morning. But from the present political arrangement, until the north welcomes that direction, we're stuck with it. They'll play any political card they want at us, provided we keep fighting ourselves down here, they'll always get away with it.

This is one hell of a political move. It's big. But they don't care.
PoliticsThreat To Igbos - Beyond What They They Say & Fear For The VP by bros1234(op): 10:02pm On Jun 10, 2017
If you honestly think that the present so-called Arewa threat to Igbos to leave the North is just because of the May 30th Biafra sit-at-home, then you're to be pitied.

Southerners open your eyes and understand that this is a political card. Learn from history and understand that the Fulani North can do anything to remain in power, even if it means shedding of blood here and there. They allowed Boko Haram to fester just so they can have a major capital for ousting GEJ in 2015 elections, and the plan worked successfully.

I believe that the goal of the present threat is simple. Create a scenario that shows a breakdown of law and order. Sell the present govt as unable to handle the crisis. Topple the govt and conduct fresh elections in a few months where a healthier northerner will win.

It all boils down to the fact that Baba (Buhari) is not coming back to continue his term beyond 2019. And the Oligarchs cannot gamble an Osibanjo presidency.

If you think that the VeePee is in charge of things right now, then you should also go for another mental evaluation. And if you also think that the core northern elites and security forces are not in support of the threat, then you are still sleeping.

Southerners, this is a game. Stop allowing these guys get away with their plans by just throwing the stone of division among you. There is something sinister about this threat to Igbos. It's beyond what you think. A sit-at-home to honor past heroes and heroines, and a threat to leave the North, how do they correlate?

Understandably, IPOB/MASSOB welcomes the move and are trying to cash in on it. But everybody needs to look deeply and not allow the tribal bashings blindfold him or her from seeing the message.

I like the Arewa Youths. Their communique is spot on.

Let the Igbos have their referendum and finally get their Biafra if that's what they want.

Yorubas can equally decide if they want out which I'm sure they want. But before anything else, Igbos should go first. Their tendency for violence and aggression to resolve issues is just too much.
The Igbos are the violent ones you say.

Chai. Whoever planted this hatred in you, it will not be well for him or her

Other than that sites like ijamexchange and topupgold are also reliable. I've used them in the past.

The Whatsapp Group lessons have been very interesting. But AncientTimes and I also considered that there are people who do not like whatsapp group class, so we will share each lesson shared on the group here as well. The only difference is that in the whatsapp group there's more socializing. That's all.

.............................

Yesterday, in the Whatsapp Group, I talked about Finding Niches and Topics to Write On (Part 1). Below is the Part 2 of the lesson. The Part 1 was just introduction. Maybe some can copy it from the whatsapp group and share here. Below is the part 2.:

................................

FINDING THE RIGHT NICHES AND TOPICS TO WRITE ABOUT (2)

You may be asking, how do I know the topics/niches to write on? The information below will help...

1. Write on your passion - that is, what you are good at, topics that resonate with your person and training, etc. Chances are that it will still sell. You may not make millions from it. But its a good place to start from.

2. Go to amazon and look for categories that interest you. Then find books selling well in those areas and write similar books with different titles.

a. Number 2 idea is a powerful way to get started knowing what people are spending money on. Here's what to do...

b. Go to amazon.com

c. On the search bar(left) select kindle store

d. Do not type anything on the typing field, just click on search

e. Then click on Kindle eBooks

f. Then scroll down and begin to click on a category of your choice

g. Click on any of the books displayed on each category, check their rank.

h. The top 20 books on each category you click are bestselling books on that category. You can chose any books there. Study it well, you may write on similar topics with different titles.

POINTS TO NOTE:

1. Do not start your research using a Nigerian IP. You will not get the correct results.

2. If you are using Chrome, you can go to google, type zenmate, then install the addon. It will change your IP.

3. If you can follow the link below:

https://www.amazon.com/Kindle-eBooks/b?ie=UTF8&node=154606011

It will take you staright to the categories and skip the 2 a,b,c,d,e, stages

You don't need to be stuck looking for good niches to write on, just go over to Amazon kdp. After doing that, look for bestsellers. And make something similar to the bestsellers in that category and the you will be good to go.

Don't be discouraged, keep writing, you will hit the jack pot one.
This is the key. This advice is priceless. Anyone stuck with looking for what to write on should just follow this advice.

Simply find other books that are selling well in a category of your liking and create something similar.

There's actually nothing you'll write that others have not written on before. Don't try to re invent the wheel
