Today, I called and a sweet lady picked. After answering her questions and giving her my details, it was time to generate it. That was when their system went down!
Who does that?
I don't know what to do with them o. Planning to call for the fourth time tomorrow.

Hi, this thread is not about Payoneer. It's about publishing books on amazon. But I'll try.

I think that means it's been long they sent you your Master Card. By now you are supposed to have received it. If you havent gotten it, check your address and maybe the postal system that get things across to your address. Usually, when you get the card, you are supposed to login and activate the card.

I just tried publishing and I hit a brick wall. I don't have TIN. Guess I have to go to their office on Monday.
Anyone with an idea on how long it may take me to get it? Or is there an easier method sef?

Are you in the US?

If not, you can actually just choose your country of residence and avoid the TIN issue in the TAX form. But that would mean that you will have to drop 30% of Tax from whatever you earn from your US marketplace.

Also getting the TIN can be done in less than 10 mins. Just call them on this line

I am in Nigeria. I called them around 1PM which was around 8AM over there and got the TIN in less than 10 mins. But it doesnt still help if your country does not have a tax treaty with US.

Second Page = Copyright Information
Third Page = Contents.
Fifth Page = Introduction

2. To make a clickable TOC, Make sure the headings are formatted with either Heading 1 Or Heading 2

To insert a table of contents, follow these steps:

a. Click an empty paragraph/page where you want to insert the TOC.

b. On the Insert menu, point to Reference, and then click Index and Tables/ Table of Contents

c. Then, click Insert Table of Contents.

I have published books that have pictures in it on createspace. They will warn you but they will still publish the book. Though I dont know if yours is a full color book

Hello Bros 1234 or anyone experienced in KDP publishing. How do you format a picture book in Word for createspace. I formatted one in word and it compressed my pictures reduced the DPI. Before putting them in word, they pictures were 300 DPI meeting the request for createspace. However, after putting them in Word and resizing them, I uploaded the book to createspace and I was told that my pictures are 143 DPI. It means that they won't be uploaded. It means that they won't even be accepted. Any hint please Will be greatly appreciated.

Actually for like 2 months now, no power (electricity here), yet they bring 10k bill for my flat every month. I think that its determination and well, I make out the time. See the maths.

1. I have 25 books and make guaranteed 5 sales a day.

2. So if I have 50 books, I should make guaranteed 10 sales a day.

3. If I have 100 books, I should make 20 sales a day.

4. If I make guaranteed 20 sales a day...that should net me about $1,500 monthly or more

5. That's the one-year goal.

Though in the last 3 weeks or so, I have made at least 10 sales daily, but you can see my goal. It will not be bad if I take one year to build a business that brings me $1,500 assured income monthly, while I do other things. What do you say?

$700 a month? Whew! You're the boss mehn. I just finished proofreading my first book. it's on finance, about 9000 words. I want to push four books out before December 18th. Guess I have a long way to go.
Btw, what is the lowest amount you can cash out?
And, do you use payoneer or PayPal?

Bro. Publish your book and then publish more. I keep saying it here. You can never write a perfect book. Dont spend too much time on just one book. Just do a good proofreading work. I have books that are not selling at all. But I have a book that sells 5-6 daily and so on.

Amazon pays with Payoneer. They will pay you even 10 cent that you make after 60 days, e.g, September earning is paid in November, October earning paid in December and November earning paid in Jan and so on.

Actually, we crossed $900 this past Nov. to the glory of God.

My greatest secret is that there is no secret.

1. I choose a niche I have a lot of knowledge.

2. I write quality stuff, at least to my best of ability.

3. I do basic and good proofreading (at least to my best ability)

4. I push the button ...that is publish...and then hope for the best.

5. I keep writing even when the ones published are not selling. I just write and publish more. I failed this Nov. cos I only published two books. That's failure to me. So far I have about 25 books on Amazon and sell about 5-10 daily.

6. This Nov, we have crossed $700 in sales...to the glory of God.

But we need to improve. I'm learning. Remember this is my 4th month

Let me shock you. If you have one book selling 7 in one month, you are doing over well. Some books I have sell only 1 in a month. My only consolation is that I have two books that are selling over 3 each daily. I dont know why they are selling, but believe me, I put more effort in the ones not selling at all. So you are doing great. Write more and publish more

I'm yet to see my first pay since I published in September but going by the Royalty reports I earned over $100 in KENP reads alone (October sales). Book unit sales were just ok nothing to write home about lol.

Do not wait for government jobs which are not forthcoming, lets survive outside the Nigerian economy. You can't afford to be sitting idle and not taking advantage of the fact that the world is a global village and recession in Nigeria shouldn't affect you and i.

For the books i promised, i have sent 5 different books to 5 different people so far (2 has made sales, the remaining 3 have gotten good Kindle Reads and are still hoping to make sales while they have started writing their books) they were the first people to send me mails. I have just 8 more (on erotica, repairing of electronic gadgets, social media marketing, etc) i want to give out for free, but i don't know how to go about it because of the share number of people that have requested for it so i don't look bias.

The answer is, there is no fixed amount, When you log into your account, scroll down to the end of the page, you will see "KDP Select Global Fund" For September it is $12 Million USD, August was $15Million USD. This is the amount made available by amazon to be shared by all authors whose books are on the Kindle Select or KDP select. This money is gotten from subscribers for the KDP Select, Members pay $10 per month to access all books available on the kindle select on their kindle devices.

1. I have never had a discussion with anyone providing the kind of lessons you have stated here so far

2. I have never sent anyone, dead or alive, books that they published. As a matter of fact, I detest sending people PLR books because @mk82 who is the leader here on nairaland regarding kindle publishing warned against it.

3. No one has written me requesting for free books. I wont mind digging out all the emails I have received from nairalanders and our discussions as we go along.

4. I have never requested an appreciation from anyone, dead or alive, on nairaland.

5. My August KENP reads was not 901. I will attach a screenshot that shows from Aug 16-31. cos I couldnt get past that date, but even that was not 901.

6. A bit about my experience:I published my first book on kindle around 2011 (one door close, another door opens). It was a book I launched in our church. I still have copies with me. But then I forgot about kindle stuff. Then on July I woke up to it and uploaded my book on Healing Prayers on July 28, and have continued to upload books ever since. So far, I have uploaded about 22 books.

7. In the thread here, I have made it clear that I am learning on the process and would like us to help ech other.
