Pensioners Took To The Street In Calabar In Demonstration of Non Payments of Gratuity.

Cross River State pensioners today demonstrated the non payment of gratuity and other pension claims like harmonization and arrears. The pensioners numbering over 500 took to the street to protest Governor Ben Ayade's insensitivity and lack of respect for the elderly senior citizens of the State.

According to reports, the bailouts given to states to pay salaries, gratuity, and pensions have not been utilized for the purpose it was given in the first place. The Governor who has taken to the skies in search of MoU soon after the money was lodged into the government account was nowhere to address the pensioners. Instead, a batch of policemen and anti-riot trucks were seen stationing a blockage against the demonstrators.

The police refused the senior citizens access to the governor's office saying that the demonstrators did not obtain a protest permit from the Commissioner of Police Office.

However, the pensioners continued chanting solidarity songs as press men and women recorded the protesters grievances.

HOW A LAGOS MONEY WOMAN TRIES TO DESTROY HER OWN BROTHER JUST TO STOP HIM FROM MARRYING A WOMA HE LOVES!!

Ms. Uzoma Umesi, owner of MBS Spa based in Ikoyi, sent three policemen assigned to her company for guard duties to brutalize her own brother, Okechukwu Umesi.

You normally hear stories of this sort of brutality occurring between people who have no blood relationship. But this is an exception. The Umesi family is a large family. The eldest daughter, Uzoma, is in money. She owns a major Spa in Ikoyi and is involved in oil business. She is edtimated to be worth about three billion naira. By virtue of her money, she ruled her siblings with iron hand and controls them as she pleases.

Okechukwu, about 40, years of age, is one of the youngest of the siblings and the second boy in the family. Over the years, Okechukwu had worked closely with his elder sitter Uzoma, serving her interest and making money for her. But eventually, he moved to start his own thing and to be his own man. He wants to start a modern commervial farm in Imo State. Uzoma does not approve of such show of independence. But what really pissed Uzoma off was that Okechukwu also wants to marry a girl that he is in love with. Unfortunately, Uzoma is not in love with the girl. So, she felt her blessings were not obtained first. She also felt it was the fiabcee that was encouraging Okechukwu to try to be be his oen man. The big sister tried to cotrol the situation, which did not go down well with Okechukwu or the lady.

On Saturda, the 11th of February, 2017, Uzoma summoned Okechukwu to her house in Ikoyi. Okechukwu went with his finance. But he asked her to stay in the car while he went into the house. Shortly thereafter, Okechukwu came out of the house visibly upset. He entered the car and drove off with his fiancee back to the fiancee's house in Lekki.

Then the next thing that happened will shock you. Uzoma sent her police guards to teach Okechukwu and his fiancee a lesson of their life. The pictures here will tell the rest of the story, starting with the pictures of Uzoma, looking innocent, but deadly and highly connected. If she could do this to her own brother, imagine what she could do to other and which she might have done to many.

What we are asking now is why do most rich families tell their sons and daughters who they will marry? What do you think Okechukwu should do to her rich sister for brutalizing him with her police guard? Why should the police get involved in family case that does not involved crime just the issue of marriage? Do you think her brother should retaliate?

WIFE CAUGHT CHEATING TRIES TO KILL HUSBAND

A Malawian Revenue Officer MRA is battling for his life after suffering incidiary burns caused by his wife.

The man was on a night  shift (22hrs-06hrs) but suddenly felt unwell and knocked off early.

After being attended to briefly at the clinic, he retired home.

When he arrived at his house he found a strange car parked in his yard and his little investigations quickly revealed the wife was with another man.

The wife was shocked that the husband had come early and actually caught them in bed.

She begged for mercy and pleaded with the husband to forgive her.

But the husband told the cheating wife to leave his house peacefully.

The wife however requested to be allowed to leave in the morning as it would be dangerous to leave in the night, she begged.

The husband allowed her to stay the night in the house and slept in the children's bedroom.

Later the man woke up to a burning fire that nearly killed him.

It has now been established that the cheating wife attempted to burn him to death than suffer the embarrassment awaiting her in the morning.

Investigations point to a petrol cane full of petrol from the garage she used to light the house.

The woman has been arrested for arson and murder of the children that failed to survive the burning inferno.

My partners have been in the country ten days now. They both fell sick two days after they arrived. They arrived in Lagos while I was still in Abuja waiting for them to meet me there.

Last night they finally had the chance to tell me their experience when they stopped by for a happy hour. Ondrej, the one in a grey shirt, was hit the more. He suddenly fell sick when my PA, Tony Brown, was not there. They rushed him to the first hospital in Ikoyi at night. Five minutes after he got there, there was power outage and the generator could not start. They rushed him (or he rushed himself) to another hospital and there was problem again. Then they finally rushed him to the third hospital where all the doctors were Europeans. Then a different problem. They asked him to pay 1000 Euro before anyone could see him. He thought it was too much. He was going to refuse treatment. But then he realized it would cost more to ship his dead body back to Europe. So, he decided to save money by paying 1000 Euro just to register for treatment

Then I reminded them that our President is paying far more for his medical treatment in Europe. So, they shouldn't complain.

I couldn't stop laughing when they shared their experience. I began to think I could get my friends to invest in modern healthcare in Nigeria. Our healthcare is so hopeless that even our most patriotic citizen, the President, doesn't trust Nigeria when it comes to healthcare'.

Greetings sir,

Permit me to take the liberty of your well established role as a political gadfly to write to you over sundry issues that ails our country, Nigeria. It is discernible that the economic/economy ails badly and our politics continues in its well established toxic-nature even as assurances are given to the contrary by the current political leadership. I don’t need to tell you of the democratization of hunger, depression and general discontent which has manifested in very grave security challenges stalking and threatening to torpedo the already fragile Lugardian house.

Your antecedence as a worthy touch-bearer of ennobling ideals, especially on democracy, rule of law, federalism and bantering of ideas with heavy dose of respect for the best is currently under threat and I wonder, perhaps if you who inflamed the younger generation with courage, determination and radicalism would want history to say otherwise of you.

You have laboured your entire political career and have won the respect and admiration of even your fiercest opponents because of power of conviction by which you have espoused with insight the afore-mentioned ideals but currently, since the party, the All Progressive Congress, (APC), came to power in the historic election of 2015, there seems to be a gradual withering of your ideals, perhaps in your well-meaning desire to help put your party on very strong footing.

Alas, the ship of state is currently sailing into an avoidable storm because the current leadership of the country which is enamoured to anachronistic methods of running a multi-ethnic, religious and politically sensitive state such as ours. The President’s disposition to issues of governance is not inspiring to say the least and this is without malice or prejudice to his best of intentions. Hence, we ask whence cometh the change we voted for in 2015.

Looking around and in fervent discussions with lots of friends and acquaintances, it appears we have invested our hope and return on investment is not commensurate. This is my personal opinion and I
would continue to pray that I am wrong but something within me tells me loud and clear, that I am right and that it might grow worse with time.

‘Asiwaju’ Sir, I am afraid at this discovery and impelled to ask your intervention as we continue to drift in the wilderness of economic hardship and political uncertainty. Your astuteness and political savvy acquired and exhibited over two decades is at stake, so is your reputation as a progressive. We are calling upon you to do what you are endowed by providence to do.

He jus finish night vigil yesterday and was  stoned to death (killed) by unknowned people.
