Onyejerenima: See the ambience. I dey Abj since last week and I'm not feeling the environment at all, even with their wide roads. When I say Owerri is the most beautiful city, people will think I'm blabbing. If owerri had side walks replicated in 70% of its land area, it would be one of the best in Africa. 6 Likes |

SoNature: You really don't know me, if you did, you would have second thoughts, spewing hilarious allegations against me. I love imo state with every fiber in me. I defend every good thing within its enclave, irrespective of party or individual in charge of the state. I made a thread on Abuja 2 days ago, about the worsening situation in FCT, but I only showed other beautiful experiences in picture rather than my ugly observation. But it's all good |

Politics / Imo State To Generate And Distribute Power In 12 Months by Broveens42(m): 10:44am On May 04 |
Governor Uzodimma has officially signed the Electricity Bill into law at the New Exco Chamber, Government House Owerri. This development marks a pivotal moment in the state's efforts to improve access to reliable electricity for its residents. Emphasizing the importance of uninterrupted power supply for economic growth, he announced the approval of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take over the Egbema Power Plant, which has been abandoned since 2006 and an MOU has been signed for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in the State with a reputable Company. The Governor is optimistic that within 12 months, Imo State's power infrastructure will substantially improve, thanks to the new legislation. Presented by the Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe, accompanied by other Principal Officers of the Assembly, the Governor described the occasion as "another milestone in the development of Imo State targeted at moving Imo to a higher level." Governor Uzodinma in other events has always credited this project to Dee Sam mbakwe, describing him as a visionary leader. Recall, Governor Uzodinma had visited the project sight which was abandoned for 18 years. https://www.facebook.com/100064151675314/posts/pfbid0qZmevqcYcu3TiXK81q2D3AobxtAV7XTZLf38xGjfNDJhR5FA9HoU8h64qR9ZJZ2al/?app=fbl

What my eyes saw yesterday is unbelievable and totally unacceptable for a country's capital city. This the 5th year since I last visited Abj, because my routes were Owerri-MMA-overseas The first shocker was driving from NA international airport with non functional street lights. The second shocker just happened now. Can you imagine open defecation is obtainable in Abuja. Not just Abuja, central area for that matter. Someone just pulled down his trouser!!! Third shocker is that I witnessed open grazing in central area. I thought open grazing have been banned My goodness !!! 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Ihedioha Visits Governor Otti In Abia Days After Resigning From PDP by Broveens42(m): 5:28am On Apr 30 |
Beautifulday: Ihedioha lacks political intelligence which will always spoil his chances of becoming a governor; this is not constituency election. How could you go to Ghana and call your people unprintable names, just because they Wana try new presidential candidate. How can a governor go about demolishing structures in his first month in office when he's unsure of his legal battles. What happened to waiting until the outcome of judgement? He lacks intelligence |
Politics / Re: Ihedioha Visits Governor Otti In Abia Days After Resigning From PDP by Broveens42(m): 3:28pm On Apr 29 |
Beautifulday: Ihedioha can't win Guber in Imo state because he's an Abuja politician. He should have moved to the Senate after serving in the reps. If ohakim gets the APC ticket, then it's a Smooth ride for him. Don't forget, ohakim just has 4 years to govern constitutional, a deal all zones in Imo would gladly accept |

Politics / Re: Which State Has The Worst History Of Governors? by Broveens42(m): 11:55am On Apr 28 |
Oilwell: Since you made it about Uzodinma instead of focusing on the topic.. The topic says worst governors in history. Let me school you and your likes properly. The notion that imo had the worst governors is flawed. Imo was governed by the much revered mbakwe as old imo, Abia and parts of ebonyi, which factors out Imo state; Sam performed excently. From 1999 till date, Imo has risen economically from the popular land of hope slogan to the economic powerhouse of the country (top 3 economies of Nigeria) This wouldn't be possible under poor governance no matter how you look at it. Imo was the second state in Nigeria to ban okada in her capital (during ohakim). There is no positive statistics in Nigeria today imo won't make top 2...name it Is it ICT, most built up state, GDP, exploits in professional studies/education, Human capital development. The notion that imo had a history for worst governors was born out of taste for high quality among an average imolite and not the general mediocre standards of Nigeria I dare you to counter these facts 1 Like |

Major1984: Sometimes the 6334 rubbish system of education can affect the way we reason, that's why I'm an advocate of Igbo nation. In an exclusive Igbo nation, take out the parties and names from an otti or Uzodinma, no sane Igbo man would say Uzodinma is the worst. None ! and I'm affirmative about it. Which governor in Nigeria can aggressively carry out fed road projects interconnecting zones with other states? ... Owerri -orlu owerri -okigwe, ongoing Owerri -umuahia 1 Like |
