This is just some areas in ehime mbano, I promise to cover Nwangele LGA and a triad of Obowo, ihitte uboma and ehime LGA'S in my next visit so you would understand what we mean by built up.
The days of online propaganda are gone, we are dealing with real statistics...
This places would beat your Capital city residential

Imo state is a Christian✝️ state.

No to elevation of Islam in any guise.

Mr governor just doing this to gain favour from his Muslim☪️ masters. The truth is that Imo state is a Christian✝️ state.

You mean an elite is pleasing an elite to mutually expand their bank accounts?

The earlier you realize religion was made to make the weak weaker and the poor poorer, is the day you would realize you just have to live for each other

Nigerians and mediocrity, what's beautiful about Owerri. You people should better travel out and stop being mediocres.

You are the one that need to travel.
In the last 10 years I have been to all states in Nigeria, on humanitarian, asides the north east region.

All pictures I took with even better cameras, appeared ugly immediately, and I deleted all.
But you only need a low quality phone to get the desired picture in owerri.

Eid El fitr in owerri

Ha ha ha.
Abians and Anambrarians are celebrating development in their multiple cities. You are celebrating Owerri the only surviving city in Imo state, celebrating Owerri and religion.
Una no get moral scruples.

Imo is the second most built up state
and the second largest Nigeria economy, according to reliable statistics.

Children of perdition, your hypocrisy is ALWAYS CLEAR as you guys are always trying to mislead others. Same place you all called Rochas Iberiberism (BECAUSE HE'S APC), same place you called Hope Uzodimma supreme court Governor (Because he's APC). Who now made the state a beautiful state? Thank God some of your people had sense to vote and also SUPPORT these Governors. Otherwise the clueless illiterates among you are the ones that can cause a civil war and then run away like cowards when they cant handle the war again.

Very beautiful question.
I'm glad you asked this questions but I will school people as usual.

As far back as 1999, it was clear Owerri had a path to improve on it's beauty through individual efforts to beautify their surroundings.
Infact it was like a competition to plant flowers in front of your houses/streets.
It became somewhat culturized, as evident in beautiful landscaping accross the city center.
Not satisfied with the level of beauty, government came in (through ikedi ohakim) to ban okada(second city in Nigeria to do this), demolish billboards littered all over the city , through the clean and green initiative.
The plan was to sustain the master plan of mbakwe, then governor of old imo state.

Today, Owerri is the only city that appears beautiful, even with an untarred street, because of this habit.
So it is no coincidence when I say Owerri is the most beautiful city in Nigeria today, because there was a clear path to this assertion

When I always promote Owerri, people think I don't know what I'm doing. You can only promote your own and get satisfied.
There's no reason why you should sell everything in life just to be in a white man's land, when you can make your own "paradise".
The ineptudity of our state governors shouldn't be an excuse not to create a niche of comfortability,as started by individual drilling of boreholes, installation of solar panels, landscaping, medical outreaches etc

The truth is, if you don't call your self king, nobody will do that, not even the white man and that's why I feel we have more to offer in an Igbo nation than a Nigerian contraption

There's no picture of owerri you would take, without seeing a well nutured tree or flower in the background.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, IMO STATE MUST STOP GIVING THEIR DAUGHTERS TO EVERY TRIBE IN NIGERIA.

LIMIT IT TO IGBOS AND SS, IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUT.

SECONDLY, THEIR ARE TOO MANY BASTARDS CHILDREN IN IMO STATE, LEARN TO RETURN BASTARDS TO THEIR FATHER PLACE.

THIRDLY, IMO STATE MEN MUST BE COMMITTED TO IMO STATE FIRST AND STOPP SELLING YOUR INHERITANCE TO NDIHAUSA NA FULANI NA YORUBA.

WATCHING OKOROCHA AND NOW HOPE, UPSETS ME.

MY MUM IS FROM OWERRI IMO STATE PRECISELY AND MY DAD ANAMBRA, STOP HATING NDIANAMBRA, FOR DOING WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO DO.

THEY ARE YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD. CREATE A STATE BASE PARTY(APGA OR LABOUR) TO LOCK OUT THE NON IGBO INFLUENCE AND PURSUE THE RIGOROUS DEVELOPMENT OF IMO STATE, AS YOU SEE IN ANAMBRA AND NOW ABIA.

YOU CAN NEVER GAIN ANYTHING FROM APC OR PDP, THEY ARE THEIR TO TAKE THE LITTLE YOU HAVE. STEAL YOUR OIL AND GAS AND EVEN USE YOUR STATE ALLOCATION TO FINACE THEIR PARTY AND ISLAMIC PILGRIMAGE TO MECCA/ISLAMIC AGENDA.

WE SHOULD PURSUE MARRIAGE AMONGST IGBO.

It is encoded in the DNA of igbos to engage in constructive criticisms as seen among age grades, umunna, umuada etc and geared towards development.
Intermarriage does not in anyway take away that code. Telling people to stop intermarriage is one of the dumbest things I have heard in my life.
However, there are saboteurs whose modus operandi is to define constructive criticism as disunity, derailing the real intent for meaningful development.
In Imo state for example, we have people who believe okigwe isn't at par with owerri, so what if docility among okigwe sons is the cause for that?

An average igbo man will criticize any Igbo leader whose not doing well leaving very few political jobbers to defend these politicians for a living.
It's in our interest these criticisms trive so we won't suffer in the wake of a balkanization.

These are examples of criticism you shouldn't discourage:
Reporter: see the road my able governor built
Me: it is substandard, show us the completed project

Reporter: wao! My governor has completed a power plant and people are enjoying 24/7 light
Me: mention the areas people are enjoying 247 light, was the project done by your governor or completed by collaboration of an individual and FG?

Reporter: Imo governor is not doing well
Me: in what area ?

Reporter: wao, our governor is doing well, flags off 11km, 12km etc road projects
Me: show us the completed projects

Reporter: Hope Uzodinma is the best governor
Me: but he's yet to raise the status of Orlu to Owerri.

You can never achieve inclusive development by docility and propaganda

Owerri has the potential to be 100 times better than the images you are seeing
What you are seeing is mostly individual efforts
Rapid industrialisation is needed, quality roads
And efficient town planning, people build anyhow without supervision, poorly erected structures, no drainages, no sidewalks, the raining season is terrible there

Owerri is far better than the pictures you see.
You wouldn't know that until you are opportuned to drive around

That's why you should go back to school.
There can't be true development without press freedom and judicial independence.
So what it means, even if you provide 247 electricity for me, and I experience low shading for 12 hours, you have the advantage to charge me for the whole 24 hours because it's a lawless society
