Meanwhile the second inland bridge is under rehabilitation, in January when I visited owerri last that road was very bad although it has been like that for long now

Nice development.
I so much love the landmark started by Rochas.
It captures old and new Owerri in one picture

why go the way of "little"? .. come out with your full chest and quote soludo properly.
itemize the bad things soludo said about obi.

Lol you are funny bro. They are brothers and it is a personal issue between them that we don't know. What Soludo said is very bad and that is what Obi's enemies are using against him. It is very bad, i understand. We should be angry with him cos of that but can't deny things he has done. The issue is between him and Obi. This is very simple

tell us what soludo said and prove me wrong

They are all doing well but don't like themselves. We should not say Soludo is not doing well cos he hates Obi. Some things he said about Obi are not true, we should not turn a blind eye to things he has done cos of that. This is why i said they all should unite. South East is the dot inside the circle (Nigeria). The nucleaus and life of the circle. The circle hate and oppress her not knowing that their growth as a nation depends on the dot

When he says something against obi, the best reply is to counter with facts and figures. That's what civilized people do.

Likeness is subjective; when you don't like pattern of governance of your own kind, it has everything to do with civility. Simply put, you are just being affected by the structure and style of the amalgamated failure

Imo governor travels out to sign deals, not all these media propaganda of governors hosting investors in their living room.

We really need to stop playing politics with development

Infact, in my next holiday, I'll send a trio of Obowo, ihitte uboma and ehime mbano LGA'S of Imo state, showing quality inner roads to family houses, so that we can sit back and have a deep reflection.
I will also do a collection of the well built up Nwangele LGA of Imo state

Eastern governors should emulate hope Uzodinma in quality projects. It's not enough to paint roads that won't last up to 2 years.

APC a big cause and disgrace in Imo state

You just hate APC, that's all grin
Even party haters have all left you behind to acknowledge Hope as the best eastern governor in quality projects.
In two years, He built a 47 km Owerri-Orlu road and 67 km owerri-okigwe road with solar lights.
Not to talk of standard street roads and 4 lane roads accross the state.

Anambra people don't seem to agree on whether Governor Soludo is working or not. Their opinions seem to differ, unlike Alex Otti that most Abians agree that he's working.

But then, whatever be the case, Soludo, who has only spent two years in office, has commissioned more projects than useless Hope Uzodinma of the APC, who has spent nearly 5 years in office!

You are an imposter grin
Why then did you give us your own opinion on Imo state? You would have told us if imolites agree Hope is working or not

Soludo is working, Otti should work harder cos Abia is the least in SE before he stepped in, Mba should put in more effort, Hope is our enemy but he is rebuilding silently. The Eboniyi Governor should sit up. It is time to rebuild South East

Lol. It's not hating but inherent traits of a civilized nation. Critisizm and competition are the only languages needed for development; this is what the whole world is scared about the dot in a circle

Currently, Christianity is the last thing choking Igbos today. They don't know but Islam perfectly suites an Igboman more than Christianity.

I'm Christian going back to about 4 or 5 generation now but I realised that Christianity can't sustain the Igboman and preserve us that is why I'll make sure my kids become stronger Muslims than this nonsense that Christianity is doing with our language (feeding us with rubbish English), marriage patterns (monogamy instead of optional polygamy), Obi Onye Nke Ya (instead of Obi Nwanne), Migrants (instead of settlers), Hendonistic (instead of Conservative and conscious), Politically Docile (instead of Politically Aware).

Christianity is making Ndị Igbo Romanised Populists and British Schools are making Ndị Igbo forgetful Igbo Illiterates. Perfect Jahil.

Ndị Igbo produces more Racial Wastes than any Nigerian tribe since I've been studying Christian imports into Igboland.

The only Political Figure that is perfectly grounded is His Excellency, Senator Chinedu Munir Nwoko, others are featherweight self-seeking and self-serving greedy drunks.

Lol, you are still stuck with destructive man made religion. The only thing Islam would have done for igbos was to futher rope them into underdevelopment and primitivity while granting their leaders political power in the amalgamated area. Technically, you have subjected yourself to the caliphate in sokoto, if you don't know that...

The only true religion is mmadu(beauty in life)

With mmadu, you won't sponsor wars, control economies of other lives, promote policies that depopulate life, plot to conquer territories of people; this is the type of civilization the whole world dread about the igbos

It was the Zulus that gave the British real fight in Africa not the igbos, the Zulus killed not less than a thousand troops of the British in one day.

The igbos are no were,it was the anioma who are mixed blood with igala and Edo that gave the British tough fight not the core igbos, the Anglo aro war was an easy win for the British, the easiest fight n victory they had in African.
The ijaws of brass did better

exactly why the igbos hold the title as the first and only civilized tribe on planet earth. they are the only tribe that hold life sacred, as every life on planet earth is important. they were the ones that started animal rights, where certain species like python, monkeys, tortoise etc are to be preserved or face serious fines/penalty.

but civility also entails you ain't a coward but exhibit every level of fearlessness to defend your life; this best describes the igbos and this is the type of civilization the world is scared of.

like I said earlier, this type of phenomenon (mmadu- beauty in life) comes with a lot of consequences but superiority will always manifest through signs and events.

I'm too broke to buy a lie, let alone sell one to myself. I'm just curious about the Igbo people and the ancient pictures of the Igbo group posted on Nairaland by some tribalists led me to that book.

You can never understand that tribe if you are still stuck with the templates of agendists.

But it's very easy to understand with signs and events

I wish there is a voice note option on Nairaland, it would have made it easier for me to properly "articulate" my thoughts on this.

While I do understand that all of the empires formed throughout history were made possible by the bronze, iron, gun, and of course blood; however why didn't the Igbos form an alliance with one another?

I read a book written about ancient Igbos by a European but it was clear that he wouldn't never truly paint the true pictures since he was a foreigner with a totally different belief. He even said there were Igbo groups who practiced cannibalism...

When you sell a lie like you did in your last line, it is easier to see through.
Let me enlightene you a bit.

The igbos see god in humans and are not very quick to go on the offensive, (this include forming groups to kill or hunt enemies).

They are wired to be on the defensive because they see beauty (Mma) in every life(Ndu).

Of course, there are consequences for staying true to the concept of "mmadu"
But astrology has a way of aligning and realigning core elements of civilization and superiority.

You sound quite knowledgeable, I almost assumed you wouldn't back up your statements due to your moniker — sorry about that.

Anyway, I'm honestly curious to know why the Igbos never formed one single identity strong enough to become politically and ideologically strong.

Because till date, different Igbo groups can tell you which place in Igboland they originated from and the Igbo group they're closely related to. These Igbo groups were closer to each other but never found a strong political alliance.

Lol. Your second paragraph proves igbos were very civilized.
Civilization can never translate to handpicking or forming alliances with persons based on tribe for political offices and not competence.
Even when they know they are being subjugated, it doesn't affect their sense of judgement.

The hype around lgb0s by lgb0s are not worth it.
I am not a Yoruba but if any trîbè should bràg about intelligence and prosperity, Yorubas should take the front queue and they are not doing.
We always hear about lgb0 intelligence online, when u meet them in the field they are average at best, meet them as fellow students, at internship, at fellowship, at seminars as colleagues etc.
Just some few standing out as intelligent as it should be, so where does this high intelligence mantra stem from?
Chanting a fallacy till it becomes true doesn't make it true.
Again, most of the fàke products in the Nigerian market are made by lgb0s, Japan don't specialize in fakes, they specialize on reliable products.

The hype is worth it.
1.The Igbos were the first to recognize the concept of chromosome through the igbo-ukwu artifact: a system of identification through codings is the first level of civilization
2. They are the only tribe in the world recorded to have built a commercial airport through contribution of school children and families (Sam mbakwe airport)
3. The only tribe in the world with a fearless feminine gender (Aba women riot)
4. The only tribe in the world that can openly wish a white QUEEN mother an excruciating pain; an astrological explanation of superiority of Igbo tribe.
5. The only tribe that can tell a judge to tell his president that he is Mad; an astrological explanation of superiority
6. The only tribe that built up their cities without implementation of the 3R

It's there no way the connection can be Done via satellite instead of cable?

lol this is the white superstition you were deceived with , that a satellite is placed in a fairytale space, without any need for cables, but science will always be science.

These countries in Africa, experienced internet outages because underground cables were compromised. Those who use star have good connection because the signal power from source is much stronger.
Remove all cables totally and you won't send anything on narialand.

it's just like when a fuse in a transmitter is hit, due to short circuit, some people may still have low voltages while the rest are cut off entirely

Ya, a society that breeds injustice(religious double standards) will eliminate conscientious peace of mind.
That's why a typical Nigeria will spend all his money building a fence, with little or none to make his home comfortable.(underdevelopment)

Today, most homes abroad still use ornaments/plants to demercate their compounds, something that was very common in Igbo land
