Sorry, but I don't agree with you.. ASUU is doing this for a selfish interest.. However if ASUU work for council and not government, are they paid by Council? What you said about tax is not true. National housing scheme is not fradulant and it also exists. All these na brain washing from your ASUU chairperson..

This is what Federal Government sold to you which does reflect reality on ground.
1. There is an extant law that establishes the independence of the school adminstration. That is why the governing council was established. Every lecturer work for governing council not government.
By introduction of IPPIS power to employ and fund University goes to Abuja (Hands of politicians)
2. Sabbatical, Adjunct and part-time lecturing is a global practice. It is engaging experience hands in areas of neccesity by some universities. A student might like to major in a particular option that school may not have experienced hands in. That department can hire another experience lecturer from another school to handle that. IPPIS didn't capture this peculiarity.
3. IPPIS payment is on double taxation. Federal government tax You. State still tax you. 7% each.
4. Federal government through IPPIS migrated everyone to fraudulent and non existent National Housing Schemes where about 10% of salaries of every ASUU member is being deducted.
5. Earn Allowance which is a global practice in academic sector is not acknowledged by IPPIS. This is where lecturers take solace in.
Earn Allowance be is the money that arise from the excessive loads some lecturers carried. This motivate them to do more. Who will do that works without payments?
6. ASUU offered a transparent payment method that capture all these peculiarities. Why federal government doesn't want to address it?
7. Mind you that ASUU is purely academic union. They are not into management. ASUU don't employ or manage finances. They only teach.
8. Do you know that all the agreements Federal government went in with ASUU since 2009 nothing has been done on the part of government since today. How do you want ASUU to trust Federal Government.

Story.... When lots have registered.. They should continue fighting

This is the last minute ditch to coarse dogged ASUU member to register with IPPIS. The fact remains that people don't understand how that Union work. That is the union of intellectuals who are ready die for what they believe be in. ASUU took on Abacha in military regime let alone Buhari in democratic setting. ASUU is ready to close school down until Buhari leave office.
ASUU is not a union your threaten with non payment of salary.
If IPPIS is good why are other sister unions in the university who have enrolled backing out.
NASU, SANU and NAAT are on warning strike now.
If you are a lecturer, don't be cowed by this news. Stick with the Union. Victory is sure!

Bros, how is that possible when MOUAU staff (striking staff) are yet to receive their salary. Pls brief me. I was affected too but lucky enough I was reinstated. However, my sister in-law wasn't that lucky.

I was suspended from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike in August 2017..
But since then I have not received any salary but my pension account is being credited till date
On January this year I applied for pension account statement and I couldn't believe that FG has been paying us salary but the VC is diverting it to his personal account
We are about 800 staff that were suspended..
On this month some of us sent our staff numbers,bvn, and other things required by FG , low and behold we were paid 2months salaries

when we're you paid.. Cos we are yet to receive the 2 months salary in mouau.. And also we submitted all the necessary things neede

brother what is causing the delay. Is it that there is no money to pay these guys or what. Are you sure it's not intentional? Because am beginning to see this from a different angle. With this new Monday withdrawal.. when the previous ones have been paid. It means they can open their portal anytime they like. May b next time the portal will open might be next year. And they will tell you. They have not not finished paying others. For how many days does the payment take. Brother they should tell us the truth. What is actually happening? Payment should be automatically done. Once u click withdrawal. The money enters within 2 days. Like other online business. Everything should be automated. Am sensing foul play in this tine.

please what is causing the delay in payment. I have not been able to withdraw for the past 1 month. I am a strong fan of Tine, but am loosing hope now. Even one of my accounts that has reached the final level which was due by 9th may has not been updated. Please is it true that it's on de verge of closing. Lemme tell my siblings I hv their money for the bonds to back out? Also when can we withdraw. Since their is no definite Monday for withdrawal. Do we have hope this coming Monday to withdraw?

Problem with Tine Investment is that they don't pay as at when due. They Keep telling you. Portal will open open on Monday. Even when it's Monday. When you communicate with them, they wil tell u. That people that clicked for withdrawal has not been paid. Until they re paid. That's when de portal will open. I have been unable to withdraw for the past 3 weeks. And I somuch had hope in the money that I was disappointed. Though Tine is good. But their recent acts shows that that re unreliable. You can't get ur money when u need it.
