We all know that most igbos united to keep GEJ in office. They only chose the wrong candidate (who had wrecked the image of Nigeria) because of their hatred for any tribe on the other side of River Niger.

Funny enough, the same Yorubas helped their candidate gain some votes in the southwest but many Igbos will ignore that as usual. You can imagine how it would have been if the Yorubas treated this as a tribal election (like the Igbos did); the gap would have been a big disgrace to GEJ.

They have been disowning their own since years immemorial. They disowned Ojukwu and voted OBJ. They disowned Orji Kanu and voted Yar'adua. They dfisowned Ben Obi and voted Jonathan.
