Forget Marvel's....infinity war and black panther. The best movie I've seen this year is Den of thieves and a quiet place. These are nice stand alone movies. |

Laurence1: A quiet place
Nice twist. The storyline was not expected. Thumbs up
I dont think John Krasinski played the ideal father needed for the dad character in movie. Our chiwetel would have played that role better.
tho i think angelina jolie wluld have been dope for the character, Emily blunt was perfect nevertheless.
Graphics and effects is great

cococandy: Personally I wouldn’t marry a man with 3 kids. If that’s what’s you’re asking. I’m not capable of that type of responsibility. However if someone else feels they can handle it, why not?
The thing I’m against is discrimination against single parents as if there’s something wrong with them personally Well then speak for yourself. |

The worst thing that can happen to any man is engaging his resources, energy and time raising another man's kid irrespective of where or who they come from. The main essence of any man alive is to send his genetic sample into the future via having his own children, training them etc.
Any man who fails to do this has ultimately failed in life.Take it or leave it that's the harsh truth. |

Beorn: Lol. It happens. It's mathematically impossible to watch all movies. This thread can help you keep up with the current ones but not the oldies or even all the current movies. It was just last year that I watched The Green Mile. LOL. Absolutely right. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Bryan12(m): 12:47pm On Jun 08, 2018 |
Beorn: Manchester By Sea had high ratings and even won an Oscar for Casey Affleck, but it was one of the worst movies I watched last two years. I slept off many times while watching it. But then, you might enjoy it. What I wouldn't do is to suggest it to any one, though
I've watched Interstellar, Green Mile, Into The Wild, Lion and Schindler's List, and they're all fantastic movies with strong emotional content. You won't regret those films I listed. I haven't watched Forest Gump but I've read so many stories about it and it was one of the best Hollywood movies ever made. So, go for it, you'll enjoy it too.
For the rest of those movies, I haven't watched them. Just make sure you read their ratings before watching. It helps most times but not all the time. Movies with high ratings like Early Man and Manchester By Sea are useless movies.
Edited: I've watched Armageddom and Goodwill Hunting as well. Both are interesting. I remember Armageddom with sweet memories of my teenage years and the ending scene soundtrack. That soundtrack plays in my head whenever I remember the film.
I did further research for you and will recommend the following for you to watch from your list:
Cast Away Life is Beautiful Thank you so much Sir. I don't really have preferences once it comes to movies as long as its not a horror movie. Meanwhile a lot of people aired their views about Interstellar, forest grump and green mile. And from the look of things it seems these movies would really be worth it but I keep asking myself "where was I when these movies were released?" Lol |

Emekus92: den of thieves is a cool movie but that ending part killed the whole movie. How could thieves as clever as they are see a hold up and drive straight to it. making that part so predictable. I know they will be killed and that guy that was handcuffed will escape. so easy You're right but am not sure the ending part was that predictable. The handcuffed guy was working for three sides. The cops, his own gang and merriman's gang, how could you have possibly predicted that he had his own gang including inside men working in the central bank they robbed until the very end? |
