and fear I face everyday. When I came to South West I started seeing a bit beauty in Islam. South West muslims made me reserve a part of me for the love of Islam. I've seen cases in ibadan between two muslims were they didn't involve the police but it was settled by their iman, also happens with christains in the SW, so you really don't need to carry your case to the court in the north for settlement, take your case to your iman or pastor. But this doesn't stop the state from properly recognizing those religious bodies and conflict resolution courts......it actually puts less pressure on the state judiciary.
