Reply and attach your TB test, i think it is the GWF no. In my own case , I quoted the GWF and VAF numbers.
The not straightforward simply means they need more docs from you to make a decision, so Don't Panic!

Collection mail dropped for dependant finally. I have collected for main applicants and other dependents already, this was the only one we were waiting for. (I already booked flights in faith since early August so my prayer was that this would not be too delayed so that I don't change flights). Thank God it came on time!

Bio Aug 18th (did paid call on sept 16- was told awaiting decision, the lady offered to escalate)
Did paid mail on 19th Sept (response was that decision has been made - but my tracker still showed at DMC)
responded to the mail again on 20th Sept that application is still at DMC, feedback was the same, decision has been made, advised to wait for collection mail.
Application moved to VAC yesterday afternoon
application received by VAC this morning.
Collection mail received.
Still waiting for BRP


Main Applicant- Bio date was 30th August (priority, eventually did walk in with dependant on 25th)
NSF mail received 2 times which I responded to (if you do priority and you got an nsf, your application will still be treated with priority whenever you respond)- the best advise i can give is, ensure to put all documents with your application, to avoid nsf and delays.
Collection mail received for main applicant- 9th September (it stayed at VAC for like 2 days before i got the mail, also got the BRP 2 days before the collection mail.)
BRP and Collection mail received for dependant 12th Sept

For those still waiting, this process will test your patience, just be hopeful, prayerful and patient. Everyones' collection mail will drop, it is only a matter of time.

Thanks to everyone contributing to this platform. This forum helped a lot, I read through all the posts. For new applicants, Please take time to read the whole thread, you will find that somebody has asked your type of question before and you can apply the answers.

No need to be afraid, I got the same type of mail. you can do a brief cover letter to explain what you have been doing since 2012, you do not need to attach your payslips, attach your employment letter, promotion letter, any trainings/certifications you have done.

Yes, my husband has his fund in his personal account, which covers him and our children, he only added his pension savings as additional fund available to him. I have responded to the nsf, I pray for the best. Thank you!

The cover letter works fine. Yes it's ok to tell them to disregard a document if it does not support your application. One more thing ...did your husband mention he is relying on a separate fund from yours (MA)? This may have been why they requested for the pension statement

Your cover letter seems okay but please draw the ECOs attention to the relevant bank details: I did that already

If you are quoting the bank account that has the maintenance funds state the account name and no and total funds.: only I did not state the account number but all the other account details is stated.

You can add the letter from PFA but your explanation is very important. You may further wish to reprint the correct bank statement and resubmit, stating in your cover letter that you are resubmitting the correct account details earlier submitted showing funds are available till date: I responded to the nsf already with the document they requested and additional cover letter from me explaining the funding. Is it possible to resend the bank statement again? or I should wait and pray there will be no more issues

Yes the funds in both our accounts cover for us, without even the pension savings.
and I was able to get a letter from the PFA that a percentage of the money is available to use for the applicant, if he is out of job.

Is it okay to ask that a document be disregarded?, maybe I should add that to this my response, or the response is good to go. i added a table of breakdown of the funds we have and how much each applicant requires.

Does the funds in your personal account cover both you (MA) and your husband dependent? If yes then write to them and state so.

They are promoting you because your husband mentioned the pension account as his source of funding in the UK and being the dependent, their query would be sent to you.

You can do a letter of consent stating you grant access to funds in your account for your husband upkeep and subtly ask that the pension account be disregarded.

Always best not to over submit documents to these people if you are not fully prepared to defend them.
