he did not do that because of anybody.

The lesson you all should learn is to stop thinking and thinking and thinking until u cross to that depression stage.

Once you cross that stage, suicide thoughts are natural and there will always be a reason to end it.

Any stupid thing can trigger it.
Lesson for everyone.

I'm really upset that this man killed himself because of a woman. Made me to remember Sir Arthur Nzeribe saying, that women are toys in men's hand.

So, why should he killed himself over a toy?

Anyway, RIP to him.

I vividly recall the story of a man who became popular for engaging in money rituals just to buy the 80's edition of the Honda Prelude; you wouldn't buy that car for 50k today.
A guy brutally murdered his brother, just because he wanted to acquire the rave of the moment - Pathfinder Jeep. That same vehicle is now better described as a coffin.... Vanity
I remember as a kid, my whole street gathered at a neighbour's house to watch a"drama" shown on a "double-door black & white television". Today there is plasma television and its almost found in every student's room..... Vanity
Some ladies left their true loves because some rich guy then persuaded them with a Benz 190, which turned out to be the only car they ever owned till date. They found out too late that true love is invaluable..... Vanity
What about Santana, Mercedes Benz V boot, 505 Evolution, Toyota Crown?... All overtaken by latest models of Camry, Honda, Bugatti, Bentley, X6, Acura and Infinity.... Vanity!
A guy declared drinks because he launched the Nokia-3310 phone in 2002. Today that phone would embarrass the owner and is a joke compared to the low cost and everyday phones..... Vanity
What about the MTN SIM card that many people went extra miles before they bought for over 30k, today you will not buy it anywhere because all networks are begging people to even take it for free.... Vanity
People are still making the most horrific sacrifices over 'vanity' and make enemies over worthless material things. What can I say? Look back at that one thing you want to kill or die for today,in your Marriage, Office, Family,Community... etc and see what becomes of it tomorrow. There is absolutely nothing you can't achieve. ... Take it easy!
All you need is a little time , PATIENCE,absolute obedience and trust in God and you would thank God without regrets. There is actually nothing in this world that is worth going to Hell for, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
BE THANKFUL TO GOD .
TAKE LIFEEASY!

The deceased Kuwaiti writer Abdullah JarAllah (ra) said:
عند موتي لن اقلق
ولن اهتم بجسدي البالي
فإخواني من المسلمين سيقومون باللازم وهو:
I will not worry upon my death nor be unduly concerned about my body for my Muslim brothers will do the needful.
They we disrobe me
And wash me
And enshroud me
And take me from my home
And they will carry me to my new abode (the grave)
And many will come to participate in my Janaaza
Many of them would have taken time off their jobs or cancelled appointments in order to attend my burial.

And most of them would not have reflected a day over my advice...

بينما أنا الذي سأحاسب عليها !!!whilst I will be taken to task for it: a little, or a lot, nothing unaccounted for
The first thing I will lose upon death will be my name; that is why upon my death they will ask: "where is the body?"
ولن ينادوني باسمي ..!and they will not call me by my name
When they want to perform the salat they will say: "bring the bier", and they will not call me by my name!
And when they are ready to bury me, they will say "bring the deceased..." and they will not mention my name...
Due to this I will not be deceived by lineage, or my tribal affiliation and neither my status nor fame will beguile me...
How insignificant this world is, compared to what we will face

O, YOU WHO ARE ALIVE RIGHT NOW, KNOW THAT SORROW FOR YOU ARE OF 3 TYPES:
1- الناس الذين يعرفونك سطحياً سيقولون مسكينThose who really knew you, and they will say (miskeen)
2. Your friends who will remain sad for hours or days, then they will return to their discourses and entertainment
3. Deep sorrow at home. Your family will be sad for a week or two, a month, two months or even a year after which you will be but a memory...
Your story ended amongst people, but your real story just began, and its the hereafter...
You have been divested of beauty, wealth, health, children, houses, castles and wife...
And nothing remains with you except your deeds (that you used to do). And you have now begun the "real" life...
؟؟The question here is what have you PREPARED for your grave and your hereafter FROM NOW? N
This reality needs some deep reflection
1- الفرائض ...the fard prayers and duties
2- النوافل ...nafl/ voluntary works
3- صدقة السر ...secret charity
Good deeds
5- صلاة الليل...the tahajjud
لعلك تنجو so that you may be saved

If you helped remind people through these utterances, while you are alive presently, if Allah wills, you will find the effect of your reminder in your scale of good deeds on the Day of Judgement.
And remind, most certainly, reminding is fruitful for the believers

“الصدقة”لو رجع للدنيا why do you think the dead wish to perform charity if they return to the Earth? As Almighty has stated: "oh my Lord if only you gave me a little respite, I would surely give in charity

He didn't say
I'll perform umrah
او لأصليor so I could pray
أو لأصوم or so I could fast

The ulema said that the dead mentioned charity due to what (s)he saw of its great effect after his / her death
فأكثروا من الصدقة so GIVE PLENTY CHARITY

And one of the charities you could possibly do at this moment is to spend 10 seconds to forward this advice as a reminder; afterall a good word is a charity

Ask God For A Dream (2)

Wed, 2 Jan 2019

‘Then he dreamed still another dream.’ Genesis 37:9 NKJV

If you’ve already fulfilled the dream God gave you, ask Him for another one. A bigger one. The Bible says, ‘Joseph dreamed another dream.’ And the second was bigger than the first. In the first dream he saw sheaves of wheat on the ground bowing down to him, but in the second dream he saw stars in the heavens bowing down to him. Ask God to lift your sights and cause you to aim higher. But a note of caution: before God will give you another dream, He will watch to see what you do with the one He gave you. ‘Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.’ (Zechariah 4:10 NLT) Great endings usually start with humble beginnings. ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.’ (1 Peter 5:5–6 NKJV) If your dream is to prosper financially, it’s in harmony with God’s promises (see Deuteronomy 8:18; Isaiah 48:17; 2 Corinthians 9:8; 3 John 1:2). ‘Prosper’ in Biblical terms simply means to have enough to bless others. But there are three Scriptural conditions you must meet in order for your dream to be fulfilled:

(1) You must be willing to honour God with your present income (see Malachi 3:8–10).

(2) You must be willing to share what you have and meet the needs of others (see Proverbs 11:25).

(3) You must practise fiscal discipline rather than squandering what God gives you on reckless spending and impulse buying (see Proverbs 21:20). When you meet His conditions, God promises to bless you and fulfil the dream He has given you for your life.

‘Pull down your father’s altar.’ Judges 6:25 NLT

When the angel of the Lord called Gideon, he was threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress, trying to hide the grain from the Midianites (see Judges 6:11). That’s interesting, because God was about to use him to destroy the forces of Midian and liberate Israel. But before he could do so, there were a few family dynamics to be dealt with—like the altar his father built to a false god called Baal. It had been in the family for years. So God said, ‘Pull down your father’s altar to Baal… Then build an altar to the Lord your God.’ (Judges 6:25–26 NLT) Understand this: things like anger, addiction, abuse, and affairs may be part of your family history, but they don’t have to be part of your future. Not only will God heal your heart and hurts, He will use you to heal the hearts and hurts of your children. The generational rubbish can stop here and now. You don’t have to give your kids what your ancestors gave you. Bring it out into the open and lay it before the Lord. Revealing leads to healing. And if having a mature Christian counsellor helps, get one!

‘Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.’ (Romans 12:2 NLT) No, it won’t happen overnight. Damage done to you in the formative years of your life will take time to heal, and God will work with you day by day until He has made you whole. But let the healing begin. Rise up in faith, take control of your life, and declare: ‘It ends with me, and it ends here and now.’

Forex, stock, investment, crypto etc are still different from betting. But from a surface and loose perspective, since they all involve predicting before you win, then I can agree they are all like the same thing.
Anyway, I don't see betting as wrong, it all depends on you, as long as you're 18+, and aware of the risk and heartbreaks. Then the rest doesn't concern anyone.
Oga Gretefulheart01, even life naa bet. Everything that concerns ones life is a risk/bets. Having a wife/husband is a bet. Having kid/children is a bet. Having a business, especially a self employed one, is a bet. On health issues, they are all risk.

So, sir sport betting shouldn't be something we should centralise all our efforts on, because we ain't even close to betting like the whites.

Sports betting to me is placing your money on predictable outcomes. If it turns out positive, you gain but if it turns otherwise you lose. I know that the Bible warns against the love for money or material things above God. But i find it difficult to see betting as a sin. Most youths today are into sport betting but the church is silent about whether it is a sin or not. I am saying this because I am yet to see any preacher publicly condamn sport betting.

I am into betting. Any one who will condamn betting as regards Christians believe should do so with Bible references to convince me. I am not upholding my opinion above others. I only seek to know.

‘A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.’ Proverbs 29:1 NIV

Years ago civil engineers examined a dam in Pennsylvania that controlled the waters of several rivers which flowed down towards a valley where there was a town. Concerned by what they saw, they told the town officials, ‘The dam is unsafe and you are in great danger. You need to relocate.’ The officials said, ‘We’ve heard it all before. The dam is all right.’ A year later the engineers visited the dam and again came back saying, ‘We are warning you; you are in danger every hour.’ By this time the engineers’ report had spread to the townspeople, and they laughed it off, saying, ‘They’re just trying to scare us.’ A few months later the engineers issued the same warning, and again it was dismissed. Fifteen days later a boy on a horse rode through the valley shouting, ‘Run for your lives! The dam has broken and the water is coming.’ But the people laughed at him, certain he was trying to scare them. Suddenly a wall of dirty water struck, and in less than thirty minutes Johnstown was in ruins. More than 3,700 people died that day.

Question: Has God been warning you about certain things in your life: relationships, habits, attitudes? If so, here are two Scriptures you’d do well to consider carefully: ‘The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.’ (Proverbs 12:15 NIV) ‘A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.’ The word for you today is: listen, and be willing to take advice.
