Thank God and my deep appreciation goes to all gurus in the house, this is the point my assumed agent would have claimed another 200k as balance because we received ITA, which is only the middle of the journey.

I will be having a few documentation questions along the line and I will be grateful for your support. Firstly is work reference better "TO WHOM" or Addressed to the consulate? POF: The fund is in FD in my account and I was waiting for it to mature next week so I can transfer it into wify's account, as she is the principal applicant. Is this too late now that we have ITA? can this raise a red flag? Thank you

Please I need some help here. My hubby and I are working on our ECA and IELTS now after which we intend getting into the pool. We are expecting bulk funds in February which is to be used as POF ( and must sit in your account for 6months right? ) Question is, can we use our collective accounts which have had very good turnover over the period but without the POF right now along with the account that has sufficient POF for less than 6months? Can we scale through? Thanks for your help elders
I don't think the money have to be there for 6 months, just a balance that reflect the required fund and a good transaction over the last 6 months. Yes you can use a joint account.

Addendum
If you are between the age of 20 and 29, your score will not be reduced. However, i cant say if you will receive an email on CIC update on your birthday.
I wish boss! Standing btw early and mid 30's......... Thank you.

zandora:
Yes it does. On the day of your birthday you'll receive an email notification that your mycic account has been updated, once you log on 5 points would've already been deducted. However if you receive and submit your complete application just before your birthday and you have your birthday before a decision has been made on your app, no points would be deducted for age.
@ Zandora Thank you! Birthday is coming in 2 months but we hoping for the best before then thou! if 5 will be deducted then we will stand at 451 CRS
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by bubsykay: 11:18am On Jan 04, 2016
@ zandora, JesusDway and all others! When your birthday comes and age increases while in the pool, does it automatically reduces your score?

My self and my husband would like to apply , we are currently processing our WES evaluation, I have HND and Hubby has BSC and MBA. I'm still 29 and would like to enter the pool before I turn 30, Hubby's school(UK) has sent his transcript to WES but we have to wait for his Nigerian BSC transcript to be sent and that can take forever. Can we have only Hubby's MBA evaluated? so as to eliminate the waiting time for the BSC transcript.
You can go ahead and evaluate only the MBA, he will get the score for his highest qualification.....

i have to say am impress with how you dished out guidelines, pls am a single lady of 29yrs, haven't written my IELTS though writing feb 2016, total work experience is 5years on a particular line of work which is administration but in 3 different companies, and will clock 2years january in my present place of work. amount i know i can enta canada with is 2m although i have less than 1m for now cos of some expenses but very sure i could raise it to 1m before am been asked for POF.
Do i stand a chance, so i will concentrate on preparing for my IELTS?
Please urgent reply is appreciated and also from the house
You stand more than a chance! Just take the IELTS more seriously because its determines how much score you get and how soon you get ITA, you can also start planning for your credential evaluation as it is written in the post you quoted.

General or Academic. It says general on ietls website. Im just asking to be very sure. Thanks

Thank u very much this clears it for me...there's another question I have but I have to apologize first I'm still a novice in the Canadian express entry...I see people talking about waiting for MR n it taking up to a year and they haven't even talked about ITA,does it take that long? N what's MR pls....thx for ur response.
I believe those are the backlog applications from FSW 2014, it was replaced with the EE in January 2015. The EE comes with ITA first after creating a profile and it doesn't take that long. Someone else might be able to explain this better thou, as I'm also in the process.....

Akexstinger:
Hello everybody! You are doing great job here.
Please I need explicit advice on how to go about this express entry.
I am an HND holder in Industrial Safety Technology "upper credit" from PTI.
I did my one year industrial Training with Warri Refining and Petrochemical company,
I finished my NYSC service March this year,
Just returned from South Korea from a 5 months training on ship design.
Through out my stay in korea, I read extensively on Canadian express entry and i've made plans already to apply.
I just registered for my NEBOSH exam and it will commence as from January 18. I did this because Safety is a regulated profession all over the world and having a NEBOSH IGC cert will make me an automatic member of IIRSM and TechIOSH, thereby boosting my job level.
Please I have only one year experience on safety and I got that during my IT. I have gone through th NOC and it matches what I did. Please can I also use my work/training in korea to apply for another NOC? Like draftsman or so?
Please can anyone with materials on GT IELTS help me with the materials as I will like to prepare for it by February. Also anybody with links to which I can register for GT IELTS "cheapest oh" should help me with it. My email is Akexstinger@yahoo.com
Thanks
Kindly read the previous pages for an explicit infor about the EE. You can use your Korea work experience if its the same NOC with your IT. Please note that you will be required to submit a reference from all previous employer.

IELTS link: https://ielts.britishcouncil.org You will have access to free materials online after registering and you can try youtube as well.

Good afternoon all,
Please I have some questions, I'm currently going through the pages of he thread but I think this might be peculiar to me. I have a National diploma in petroleum engineering and a degree in petroleum engineering but my masters is in computer systems engineering (unrelated) is it wise to assess all with WES? Will I get the 135 points at the end? Secondly, I currently have work experience as a process engineer will it be wise to nominate petroleum engineer as my chosen profession with the experience I have? Thanks for ur help.
You can assess your highest qualification (masters) and you will get the necessary points as far as its equivalent to Canadian masters, no matter what you studied at UG. Based on recommendations here, WES seem to be the best and fastest so far. Finally, Your NOC will be determined by your core responsibilities on the work experience which you are claiming points.

I used a website called Nigeria crb since I wasn't in Nigeria then, see link below;

@zandora Thanks for the info! How was their service in terms of effectiveness and reliability? I saw 100 GBP for registered and 8-14 delivery.

You don't have to be physically present. I applied and received my Naija PCC from the UK, I took the prints in the UK and sent it off.
Thank you

My application is still in process. I guess CIC are not processing application as fast as before cos of the refugees that the government plan to bring into Canada.
There is no difference between applying from here and naija. The processes are the same. It might even be more expensive cos Medicals here cost about £300.She will need PCC from both UK and naija.
With regard to the proof of fund, you will need to write a letter to support the transfer of fund to your wife's account. I don't think there is need to show d source of your fund.
@dupyshoo! Thanks for your response, that was really helpful. Regarding the PCC in Naija, I heard you will have to be physically present for finger print, how true is that? kindly clarify. Thank you

dupyshoo:
There is no advantage in applying with British passport? There is also no advantage in applying from the UK. It could even be a disadvantage cos if her application is sent to local VO, accra seems to process application faster than UK.
With her MSc., she might be able to apply for PR via express entry if she has worked full time for atleast a year. Try to read the first page to get more details about express entry.
@ dupyshoo! howfar your application and what is it like applying from the UK? My wife will be applying from the UK! does she need to get naija police clearance as well? I will be transferring the the required amount in bulk into her naija account. do I have to provide the source of fund as well? Kindly fill me in........ thank you

Weldone to everyone on this thread. Please when replying correspondence requesting for documents for the SINP program, how does one send the document ? Is it through email or via the online account where the original application was submitted.

Did you get a document request from them? I submitted an application as well and I haven't gotten anything yet. Anyway you will send the requested doc to this email: immigration.documents@gov.sk.ca and you will get an immediate acknowledgement of receipt.

Personal opinion, I don't think the next draw would drop to 450, as the wait period is over 2 weeks already. However, 456 could be a possibility, but still unlikely.
On the document checklist, you would be given a personalized list after filling in the form (post ITA). Generically, some of the documents include
1. Your e-medical form which you would be given after completing you medical exam. I would advice you schedule an appointment with one of the panel doctors after receiving your ITA.
2. ALL your academic certificates and transcripts. You can also merge your WES ECA and IELTS form to these certificates, just to be on the safe side.
3. All Reference letters of the company that you have claimed points for. The letter should detail your duties (which should match your NOC), your salary, duration, number of hours; must be on company letter head and duly signed.
4. Data page of your travel documents.
5. Your POF document, which should detail your account details (date opened, six months balance, account number, etc). You may also want to include your regular six months financial statement.
6. LOE as to any of the statutory questions you might have answered Yes to (e.g, previous visa refusal, Medical issues, etc)
7. Others I might have missed.
I appreciate your detailed info, we will see how the draws unfold. Its all working out for good.

L: 8.5
R: 7
W: 6.5
S: 7

PN: I think its better not telling them the purpose is for immigration again, since they target the all band 7 requirement. I'm asking for a writing remark in atleast one of these results thou. thank you

Thank God and we are grateful to @Zandora and all other gurus up here, I got my wife's IELTS writing test remarked as advised, since my listening is lower and we received the result today, the writing score has been changed to 7 and now we are good to go.......

No, that is visiting visa
Thank you for the response sir! There is a dependent visa they do give to families of post graduate students (msc/phd), which allows them to stay with their spouse and permit them to work unlike the general visiting visa. Any idea?
