killsmith: It depends on your relationship with her. Me I'm hearty enough to help anyone.
Help the lady and watch her afterwards.
But don't give in to her advances. You think she's asking from the guy alone. Other guys would also give her. No advances. Y'all are looking at it from the male's point of view. Girls think differently. Sometimes they prefer and respect that one that can actually say NO. |

molon23: If you have the money quietly help her. The table might turn in her favour in future. There is no crime in politely saying 'No I don't have money at the moment'. Even when the table turns, he hasn't wronged her in any way. She'll survive without this guy abeg. She shouldn't even ask money from him in the first place. |

Originalsly: I can see why she is asking you for money. She saw you had no backbone then...she turned you down. Now she see you still don't have backbone... but you have money.... and she goes straight to the point.... doesn't even have to apply gold digging skills... and here you are...asking us what to do. Let me ask.... why didn't you ask why she rejected you yearsss ago?... don't have the balls to ask? Did you ask which University?...what level?..what course? I can bet my life you didn't. Bro... if you love yourself.... stick to your levels.... that babe will chew you up.....then spit you out... and you wouldn't even know. Honestly |

bidak: Oga the fact she declined your advances, doesn’t make her your enemy. Besides you guys are still chatting, so uncle help if you can afford it You made a very good and sensible point but sadly most young Nigerian girls don't think like this. You need to understand them to know how to deal with them. Most times they prefer that guy that knows how to say 'NO'. They look down on nice guys. Girls reason differently bruh. |

I have made up my own mind not to help most young Nigerian girls again(especially students)except we are dating. They look us like fools for helping them and feel entitled to everything. Help her and she'll automatically think that she has outsmarted you. You'll be lucky if she even remember to thank you afterwards and know that she's doing this same thing to many other guys too. I wish you knew the silly things they call us behind our backs after helping them. They never appreciate. Help the needy around you, not some girls toying with your emotions. |

The guy is hardened as he is proud of reeling out his criminal lifestyle in Asia and believes no "good life" exists outside drug business. Wow. He's an adult and he already made up his mind, he should be ready for anything that comes with it though. |
Family › Re: I Told My Husband That I Cheated On Him. Now He Wants A Divorce. by Budline1(m): 11:50am On May 22, 2019 |
Marbella003: I took some of the advice from my previous thread and told my husband what happened. Here is the thread:
https://www.nairaland.com/5162191/cheated-husband-guy-work-dont
I was genuine shedding tears as I relayed my shameful experience to him. I apologized and begged for him to forgive me and I promised to never repeat such again. I thought he'd understand and forgive me. But I was wrong. My husband now wants a divorce. Actually, he has sent me and the kids out of his house. I have a daughter who is 4 and a son who is 2. My husband said he doesn't think he is the father. I assured him that he is and that he should get a DNA test to confirm. But he refused.
I rented a 2 bedroom flat somewhere close to my office. This is where I currently stay. Since leaving my husband's house I have only received a phone call from him where he stated the date that he and I were going to visit my parents who are currently in my village. He told me that if I wasn't going to come, he'd go alone and tell them what happened and why he decided to divorce me.
I feel like my life is over. I can't face my parents and tell them what I've done. It's very shameful. I can't even face my friends and relations. I feel like I'm drowning a pool of shame and despair. I can't imagine being a single mother at this age. I love my husband and I enjoyed our marriage. I can't imagine it all being over.
I called my colleague and told him everything. He said that I shouldn't hold him responsible for anything since our rendezvous was based on mutual consent. He said he doesn't want to have anything to with me and we should keep our relationship at work very platonic so as not to raise eyebrows of those who might link him to what happened with me.
I'm utterly hopeless. I feel like taking my life. I almost took this action yesterday but I pitied my children. But with every passing day I feel like suicide is the only way to end my pain. I wish I had listened to those people who advised me to keep what I did a secret. I wanted to, but every time I was with my husband I felt I was constantly betraying him by hiding the truth from him. I just want to die. I can't bare this pain anymore. You shouldn't have confessed to that, no matter what. You should have just ended the affair and never do such again. The truth is always bitter. I'm a man and I know how most men think about this things. An ex once tried that stuff with me and I never took her back again. I hope he takes you back though but you'll have a lot of work to do to prove to him that such won't happen again. |

mercyville: Jokes apart. It has become a kind of tradition that it will seem as if Buhari is annihilating the whole of South East if he does that.Yorubas,Hausas and some minority tribes do it too but theirs compared to the Igbos is like a drop of water in an ocean.I have some of them as friends and they are prospective carriers in the way they talk.It is only when I read prof Ellis book on drugs that I knew how deep and far gone the Igbos are into drugs. Most of them abroad are into drugs. They mostly open shops as fronts.I know they will say one hates them but this is the truth and most of them know it. Hmmn. Well said. I'm starting to think E-Money's wealth could be associated with this trade. |

Pavore9: Of course they have their mules but are the kingpins of the trade. I know one who was a mule, gets $6,000 per successful delivery before he was arrested and jailed in Thailand and after serving he was deported to Nigeria. He went to Abuja and got immigration to issue a new passport with a different name. He is here in Nairobi, working on his visa back to Thailand to continue with trafficking as he says he needs to complete the 3 storey building he has going on in Aba. Advice your friend to quit the drug business before it's too late. They either end up behind bars or killed. When he completes the house, he'll still need more money for other things. He's not gonna be lucky always. Drug business is a dirty and deadly business I wouldn't even advice my enemy to do no matter the reward. W |

nevilbot: I am not heartless. The fact your brother took the route and is now living fine does still not make it right. How many percentage of them now live fine? For your info, I live in Europe and I know what these guys go thru even when they eventually get to this Europe illegally. Many of them run from city to city to try avoid deportation after the foreigners offices might have heard their cases and decide there is no merit in them that warrants them to stay. Many of their ladies gets pregnant just to avoid deportation thinking once they give birth, its automatic papers.Or u think once they get to Europe, its wholla welcome to eldorado? I can go on and on about what they still have to face in Europe and I'm sure there are things your brother haven't told u, that's y u assume he is living fine.
For 50 that get to Europe thru that route, 150 are trapped and scarred for life. Another 50 are trapped in a prostitution ring in Italy, another 50 are trapped in a job scam ring in Germany where they use d papers of someone else to work illegally and the person cheats them of their money cus he knows they can't go to the police. So its easy for u to sit in the comfort of your home in Nigeria and assume I'm heartless for speaking it as it is to your face.
What is not right is not right and if u take an action knowing fully well the risk in it, then u should be prepared to bear the consequences that result from it either good or bad. Thank you for the enlightenment and for saying it as it is. We need more real people like you. |

MorufuAtanda: Why is that most yahoo boys always think about buying cars before buying land assets and houses? Dem use poverty-mentality swear for dem?
I never thought buying a car until I saved up to 32 million, many people never knew my real worth, in fact only my mum knew I had that kind of money and she was the one who forced me to buy a car which I never really drove until I put on it uber.
I live on the street where I have my business, I stroll to work, so where is the economic sense in driving a big car that only swallows fuel money everyday and maintainance costs when it is either working or parked? Car is a necessity. Makes life a lot easier. A nice cheap car is okay, not an expensive one. |

You'll warn them but they won't listen instead they'll see you as enemy or hater. I always knew these days are coming, now they are suffering the consequences of their actions. |

And remember he had the other military officer there to assist him. This is why the army can’t be trusted with certain investigations. What kind of explanation or cover up is this? Someone probably planted an explosive under his car and it was detonated while he was driving with just a simple phone call. |

AMI3: My fear is for them arresting wrong people. In civilized country u don't just arrest people any how because u have seen he or she driving a exotic car.
At least there most be an evidence to show that this person committed that crime.
My question is fraud the only thing that somebody can do to make good money.
I want to tell us that there are young men to that sit in the comfort of their homes to make cool cash without duping any body.
There so many oil and gas facilitators that make it big There are FOREX facilitators that make it big
There are FOREX TRADERS,SHARES TRADER AND GAME TRADERS U CAN MAKE IT BIG
I MENTION some other ones that genuine online business that one can make it big.
I only pray that innocent people should not be involve because in Nigeria we always over do with out proper investigation. I AM NOT IN SUPPORT OF FRAUD BUR ARREST PEOPLE INDISCRIMINATELY.
BE CAREFUL HOW YOU SUPPORT THIS NEW FOUND GOVT. WAY OF ARRESTING YOUTH. IN NIGERIA ANYBODY CAN BE A SUSPECT The sad part is that when ppl around you notice that you are always at home, pressing a laptop and making a decent living out of this Forex trade (unknown to them) they could easily snitch you that you are a fraudster, I think it's time to stay away from anything involving laptops in this country. |
