If you say exactly what the problem is you could get free opinion that will help you understand your new car.
You always need to state exactly what happened when the problem started ,if a naija mechanic has worked on it and what he did.

Most times it is the Nigerian mechanic that mess things up or your buyer bought a dead car from the auction.

He bought the car in US as mechanic special, with description : need new engine' when the car arrived, he had to change the engine actually. And then the car refused to start. One electrician put scanner and it threw out ECM on car not compatible. So he bought a new ECM and still the car refused to start.

Hi,

I plan to travel to lagos from abuja next week.

Where will I get car and how much can take me to lagos?

All social vices so common in lagos. From hook ups to wiwi to crimes.

So on Wednesday me and my mechanic went to Ladipo to buy a tokunbo engine and he completed fixing it today.

When he tries to start the car, he discovered the engine has jumped timing. I was wow! Another delay.

He gave me two option:
1 To return the engine and collect another one
2. To open the engine and fixed the chain. But he said there is no assurance this wont happen again.

The issue here it might take upto monday to get another engine. I am looking at the time it will take to put a new one and go back to abuja.

Also how possible it is to say tokunbo engine jumped timing.

Please advise me.
