Factual reality What the Emir said is the greatest fear of the north. A lot of deluded Northerners think that finding oil in the North or Chad Basin will automatically emancipate North from their abject poverty and penury. Far from it.The North is suffering from Poverty of the mind. Should Nigeria Divide today. The crime rate in Northern Nigeria will soar to 80% in six months. Almost all Northern states depend on fed allocations from the center for survival. They have produced the worst leadership in human history. A typical Northerner thinks He is more religious than a Turkish Muslim simply because He wears suit. Go to Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco. These nations have remained afloat despite all challenges because their mind is open. Till today states in the north ceremoniously or secretly burn western books. I remember reminding a class mate who told me that alcohol is a No No in most states of the North. I said really. And so I asked. The government collects tax from Nigerian breweries. ..British American Tobacco, Start Larger Beer etc. This tax collected is distributed down North and your leaders never seperate or reject the money because it's unclean. Poverty of the mind is irredeemable if the sufferers never acknowledge it's a problem...Imagine Kano rejecting the building of a film school. A vision any state in the south will jump at. This economic dichotomy between tge North and South will continue to engender social inequality, Hunger and depredations in years to come. |
their test is system based and you know your fate once you submit. Its a UK online organised test. |
Make I no lie. I came to check names. It's usually a battle royale between Afonja a.K.a brown roof Republic versus the Flaties a.k.a Ipob...let the battle begin. Middle belt is refree The north are observers. Seun has the stadium |
The government has down played the activities of these vampires. Let's all keep quiet and whine behind our keyboards. They have visited Enugu, Benue, Delta, Ekiti, Nassarawa, Abia, Ogun, Osun, Anambra, Ondo and now Calabar. Everywhere they visit they leave blood on the soil. We Will wake one day to say Fulani ti take over. Alas it would have been too late. |

Welcome back Mr President. Piece of advice sir. Allow Osibanjo run the show. Seat at the villa. Drink kunu..listen to Dan Maraya jos. Those who wish you dead are those who want you to be active at 74. Power mongers will instigate bickering and rancour between you and VP. It will only take you out of the equation. Allow VP run the economy. This advice remains free till events over take it. |
Before you insult this man. Remember he is someone's father. Wish him better days. |

I agree. Kemen has to sue. Tboss is a grown adult and she should have gone to report immediately after waking up the next morning. She should have displayed her displeasure by standing up from That bed. Whose bed was that even? You kept grown adults in a place ..allow them sleep on same bed in cold south Africa...and expect them to masturbate. Why didn't you make the rules that no bed sharing for opposite seX. Payporte or oweport or whatever they called themselves lacks moral stands to expel Kemen on that basis. He should head to court. He has to shake them atleast and redeem his name. But whoever woman no kill for this life. E go reach gate of heaven at least. |
This Omojuwa guy is a sick attention seeker. Do you know how many people are cornered and questioned in every airport around the world.... I was called aside in Charles De gaul France in 2014 for 45 minutes. I only told them that if I miss my connecting flight I will take the case further. I pulled out my phone and played Zuma till they called me and gave me my passport. Visit Thailand or Singapore Omojuwa and grow up. It's called Routine check. |

Nigerian Woman Elizabeth Anionwu was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire on February 23 for her services to Nursing profession in the United Kingdom. First time I am also seeing Her Majesty shake someone without her gloves. I am more fascinated by the beauty of the African woman. Congratulations

House has anyone in the last 5 years incorporated a two words company. Submit 3 names for check and when they finish coining it. You forget the vision and mission of the company. Has any one registered something like : Newtown corporation. Wale Inc. Delaw Place. Submit these three names and they will come out as: Newtown international corporation Ltd. Wale global international Services Ltd. Delaw place management international Enterprise Ltd. They tell you the names are not available and come up with weird coinage. I am sure Nairaland can't just be Nairaland Ltd. You open account in banks and they are confused on how to summarize the names on cheque books and debit cards. What is the way forward Lalasticlala before we get to 10 words in company registration. |

I visited two banks today where I run business and personal accounts. I am scheduled to travel March 20th. Of course the first thing is to inquire yheir rates for the new PTA regime. The two banks told me I am not eligible for PTA till its 14 days to my trip. I was also told by the two banks that the highest I could access was 4000 USD. That harmony in in response to expressly communicated CBN rule I found very interesting. I letter discovered that the rates were arbitrarily fixed by banks. Both of them almost 400 naira to the dollar. The rates from the two banks were 10 naira apart. Is it possible that CBN factor in bank charges and service charge and arrive at a uniform rate for all banks. Also compelling these banks to conspicuously display the rates. They must not stop there. There has to be a hot line where Nigerians can report any form of racketeering or high handedness on the part of banks. All over Europe, if you enter money changers place or BDCs. Rates are displayed. Nobody is short changing you. What you see is what you get. No time for negotiation. If all banks get Dollars from CBN on a fixed rate, why allow them determine sell rate to their customers independently. As it stands, I know the bank I will be approaching for my 4k when my trip approaches. State why you are for or against. |
