Ko yMcy56: Request for a copy of her CSCS statement from the broker or from CSCS to clear the doubt. * Dont forget that TRANSCORP did 1:4 reconstruction sometimes ago......meaning the quantity might have reduced to 250units (if you're referring to qty b/4 reconstruction) * Also note that if you're requesting for a copy of her CSCS statement from CSCS, it comes with fee payment. * Remember, what you have in your portfolio might not be total stocks or quantities you have for any particular stock..... CSCS statement takes priority over your trading portfolio. Thanks so much for this. She had 4000 units before the reconstruction. |

Please, I need advice on how to resolve an issue regarding my daughter's Transcorp shares. My daughter owns 1,000 units of Transcorp Plc shares. About two years ago, we stopped receiving dividend payments, so I contacted the Registrar, who informed me that the shares had been sold. However, I did not authorize or execute any sale of these shares. To verify the status of the shares, I contacted CSCS, and they confirmed that the 1,000 units are still in my daughter's account. When I later decided to sell the shares, I encountered more challenges. African Prudential stated that my daughter does not have any shares, while my stockbroker's records still show that she owns the 1,000 units. At this point, I am confused because I am receiving conflicting information from different parties. Has anyone experienced a similar issue before? What steps should I take to resolve this matter and establish the true status of the shares? I would appreciate any guidance or advice. Thank you. ::: |

Thanks so much. I really appreciate Benbuffet: They are still in operation, Lead capital migrated to a new web interface through infoware that is supposed to make things better but it seems to have gotten worse. You can contact their customer service by email for them to give you a user ID and password but you may still not be able to place a successful trade through the infoware website. The easiest way to buy or sell right now is to email Lead customer service and follow it up with a call. |

Good day everyone. Please is Lead security and investment still in operation? I've tried getting across to them by mail but unfortunately , no reply to my mails for up to 3 weeks. I tried to login in to their App, it was futile too. Secondly, can someone put me through how to change my stockbroker and move my shares from Lead capital? |

leparj: Union Bank is no longer listed on the NSE. The shares were bought or taken over by Titan Bank Limited. I was sent the MTO documents which I signed sometime ago and was paid for all my UBN shares. Thanks for the feedback. Please I didn't receive anything. How can I go about it please? I think I didn't fill the e divided form too |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bukkydudu: 3:01pm On Mar 17, 2025 |
leparj: Possible. Signed the acceptance form for Titan Bank limited MTO of Union Bank and was paid fully for my Union Bank shares but till today my UBN shares are still listed in my portfolio in my stockbrokers Trading portal. But I know it's no longer there. They should ve deleted it. It's not on my CSCS printout of my portfolio.
Likely if you requested for yr CSCS printout , the Flourmill shares won't be listed there. Please what happened to Union Bank Shares oo. Is Union Bank not on the list of Stock trading again? |

zendi: You're still a shareholder of Flourmills. But you no longer have much rights enforceable by SEC and NGX.
I think you will have to visit the Registrar to sign a document to the effect that you have refused the buyout and wish to remain a shareholder.
Importantly, you're still entitled to dividends if any. Please note well this bolded, since you're no longer entitled to any disclosures like quarterly results. So when you don't see any dividends, then you take it there is nothing to share. But grumbling will always be allowed.
Mind you the company still has a board which holds periodic meetings. But the 'G' in AGM, for example, will no longer be there.
I must be missing many things. Please I was paid a large sum of money from flour mill around November last year. But in my portfolio with my stockbroker. My flour mill shares is still listed. |

yMcy56: - There was share reconstruction..... - 4 shares became 1 - So, for instance, if you have 200,000 units at N10 before, divide the units by 4, it will become 50,000units after reconstruction. - Also, multiply the N10 by 4, it will give you N44. Thank you so much . |

emmasoft: The shares you have in UPDCREIT is as a result of your holdings in UACN and UACN Property. The divestment/unbundling of UACN from UAC Property and UPDCREIT about two or three years ago gives all shareholders of UACN and UAC Property some units of UPDCREIT in their portfolio. You can read the story in Nairametrics, NGX, or other websites that cover capital market-related news or even previous pages of this thread. Thanks so much. I really appreciate this information |
