Kindly read my write up again,I said he will need to use about 500 for living expenses per month out of the total he will earn in a month. So he can actually save the remaining. Do the calculation

Flatshare of 300 per month still exist as far as I know. Lothian bus is 45 pounds per month and you can travel as far much as you desire (night and day). The remaining 150 should take care of his bills and food. I would also assume he will go with some food froom Naija.

Everyone isn't born with a silver spoon. Some people have done it and they were successful.

To be precise, he said the fee is 15000 pounds which can be paid like 7500 for first year and same for 2nd year.. And am entitled to 3000 pounds scholarship for first year which means I will be left with 4000 pounds for first year, I will have to pay 3500 pounds from naija so I will have 500 pounds left to pay for first year then if I sta working the 20 hours during school I will be saving up for the following year. I am confused because of the stories I hear of hardship in uk. why I eve considered this is because I presently earn nothing. I want advice please... Now I get, you are going for MBA leadership practice. The tuition he quoted is somehow close. Well your tuition per year is 7835 if you will be resuming in January. Yes you will pay 3500 froom Naija and you will get scholarship of 3000 pounds so that means your remaining tuition is 1335 pounds. I told you about the tuition policy, this remains tuition is due before or during matriculation.

The following year, yes you can start saving up for the next year but remember that you will need to use up some of these money for living expenses, that means 500 pounds everymonth.you can save the remaining. If you are very hard working and you can do care job you will like make it ,if not I don't see how that's possible without any support from home. Mind you care job isnt that bad o but for me I couldn't do it but since you know your situation you should just zero your mind to do any job that will pay you more so that you can sort your bills. Hardly will you get someone to dash you money in Scotland o.

My advice still remain that if you read up the information of school website you will be more knowledgeable and also think about your capability, can you really work hard? Working in UK isn't like Naija o. If you are working ,my dear you are working and earning is sure.. I wish you the very best

Firstly I'm sorry to tell you that some of those information aren't true .

I'm an alumni of Edinburgh Napier University(MSc). Firstly, you will have to pay 3500 pounds deposit before you can apply for CAS. Then you have to provide 28 days statement of account which should reflect your remaining tuition and living expenses for 9 months before the uni can send your CAS to your email.

As for work permit, yes you can work for 20hrs per week during term time and full time during holiday but the truth is its likely you won't get a job immediately. I'm not been harsh but you don't have national insurance number, it's compulsory you get that before anyone will employ you. You part time job will only pay you maximum of 12 pounds per hours that's if it's Care job and about 7.5 pounds per hour minimum for other jobs, so you are likely not going to make as much money to cover your tuition and living expenses. Also I'm sure the cold in January, accommodation and school runs won't allow you think about working for the first 2 months.

Then the fee payment policy allows you to only make payment in this format.
50% during matric and 50%in may
Pay the remaining in 6 months ,that's is January to June
Pay in 3 installment, January ,March, May
That's even if you remaining fees is more that 6500pounds , if not all your fees are due at matriculation.

My advice is that you should visit the university website and research. All these information is available on the school website. Don't let anyone deceive you please.

can anyone kindly indulge me, I'm a bit lazy with going thru all the 200+ page thread..I tried searching the thread though not throughly..its hard to be looking for one specific information . I just wanna know if it's OK to use fixed deposit account to apply for UK tier 4 visa without luquidation...weda it's popsy's account or my younger brother's account if yes how do we go about it..cos the balance in the account is not up to 2m now cos the deposit booked since August and it usually rolls over once it ends or should we just go and liquidate it and start counting 28days afresh... because popsy no wan loose the interest.

You can't use fixed deposit. If you are not married, you can use your dad's account and he will provide you with letter of sponsorship. Your brother can't be your sponsor, only your parent or yourself, that is the money will be in your personal account.
Make sure you have sufficient fund in your account and 28 days count is compulsory.
When I went for my MSc ,I had money in my personal account but due to oanda rate fluctuation, the money was not enough, so I had to add my mom's statement of account and she provided me with letter of sponsorship, I got the visa
To avoid plenty wahala, just put the money in one account and you are good to go. .All the best

Congratulations, I have also gained admission to study in the same uni for Jan 2018. With my experience, I think you should apply first, then apply for your children before leaving the country (kindly note that time is of essence here) ...except you are using super priority option which is quite expensive for 4 applicants...I don't think it's really okay to apply with 3 children at once because the ECO might as well consider how you would take care of them in the UK alone. So I think you should get yours first, then go ahead with theirs. I wish you the very best.

I think any bank account statement will suffice - whether current or savings

Cs bill would definitely be higher than vd. You can use vd bill for your budget sheet,but bear in mind that you are suppose to have more funds in your account than your budget,in case of (God forbid) emergencies.

Good day all, my visa interview was today in abuja and it didnt go well as i was not given. The VO didnt exactly look at my documents well after even telling him i had paid for my doctors fee. He said the money in my account wasnt sufficient with the budget i had and i had more than my supposed budget. I want to reapply again but i dont know what good that will do, please does anyone know how to get a new date for application as i need to travel in october. I have checked on their site to find the nearest date but i cant do i need to start a new application before i get a date? Please help thanks
