Ifeoma77: 1. Absofreakinglutely 2. One spouse and two dependants, because he is definitely going. 3. There will be issue if you don't claim him. IRCC said you should list ALL family members - whether they're full, adopted, half, step or elevator. So it's really not up to you to choose him or not, if bomboy is not listed, it's misrepresentation. Thanks alot. About the second question...my mother-in-law,husband and his mom doesn't want him to come with us so it's just my wish. Do I still claim 2 dependent or 1 dependent if they still disagree? |

Thanks alot amaya21: I think you have to mention the boy in your application and declare him to avoid misrepresentation. You will need POF to cover him and medicals for him, even if he is not accompanying you.
He can be claimed as a dependant as long as he is a child of you or your husband. Who he is currently living with is not an issue. If eventually he wants to migrate with you, you *may* have to get consent from the mother as the boy is still a minor. It depends on your particular situation and the custody situation.

Shallypop: Hi Justwise. I want to do my Masters in UK but I av a one year old baby. Can I apply with her cos I can't leave her in Nigeria? Also, her dad will not be going with me at the moment cos he works here. Is it possible And what is d average school fees if i enrol her in a Nursery? How much I'm I expected to show as her maintenance fee. Thanks. Pls any other experienced person can also attend to my question. Thanks all. Good morning Yes you can apply with her as a dependant. You all can apply together even if he is not going to be in the UK for the whole of your study duration as I believe that he will need to visit you during your stay and will also make the VO believe that you have someone to take care of her while you are in uni. Nursery fees varies and she will be attending a creche which you could enrol her for full day or half day(as necessary). In Scotland you can get full day at 35-50 pounds and half day 20_35pounds. Her maintenance is 6120 for Scotland(check web for England). All the best |

law001: Please for those with experience, is there a case of someone being sent back either here in Naija or UK point of entry for booking one way ticket?
For a first timer.
I wanna know cos I'm financially constraint and would love to book a one way, if its safe to do so, since my visa is more than a year and I may not come until after my course. You can book a one way ticket since your course is longer than 6months. From my experience, I can assure you that you are safe. All the best |

Zoey1: You can apply after resumption but not after your "last date of enrollment". - Check your CAS to see your last date of enrollment. - Ask your school for 2weeks extension. Use Super Priority like you planned. Thanks so much My last date of enrolment is 14days after resumption date. Okay I will |
