really? was oshiomole not adopted by the palace few years back! oga people dislike oshiomole for his empowerment of agberos but the vitrol i see been poured on obaseki ehn. I can even tell you that some of his new political appointees hate him. What everyone seems to forget is that obaseki needs to face party primaries, he should welcome competition because that will even project him more to the voters but the problem is that he has helped too much abuses on his fellow party men. if there is one thing I believe is that you should never step on a man's pride (even beggars do have their pride) the moment you step o. someone's pride that person can hold a grudge against you for the rest of his life and go through any length to get even or revenge . obaseki has really trampled on this people's pride. i know that these people are doing what the binis call "kpé eye wówo" the best avenue I can see for Obaseki is to decamp to a smaller party use it to form an alliance of smaller parties along with PDP to contest, because decamping to PDP will incur federal wrath and disdain from the people, also he will have a lot of enemies within the PDP party structure. those in benin can recall certain incident/altercation between Obaseki and some PDP members
