So here’s my timeline below:

Application submission: 20th July
Biometrics: 26th July (priority for main applicant)
Paid email sent: 4th of august
Response from UKVI: 5th of August - Application still awaiting a decision
Collection email: 9th of August

(For main applicant and 3 dependents)
My daughter’s application is still at DMC and I’m sure it is because they had a very difficult time getting her fingerprints on the day of the biometrics. Different staff in different booths tried before we managed to get the fingerprint. Now, this made her own passport get separated from the rest of ours. By tomorrow I’m sure hers will drop too.

Collection: 9th of August and Visa Granted!!!
The wait was almost unbearable but we thank God that it ended in praise.
I wish everybody who’s expectant speedy processing.
@Tolvin, you will testify soon. I’m rooting for you.

I had a precas interview with my school.
So all the questions the school sent to me were asked.

I got a not straightforward mail on Monday and this morning as early as 6:45am I was called for an interview without a prior notice.
So if you got the mail just prepare in advance.

Thanks for your response, I’ve not gotten mine ...is it still possible to get considering that from their website they said they would stop issuing CAS by August 20 and my POF won’t be ready by then until 26th of August ...

Have your contacted the Nigeria school rep?
I guess she will give you a genuine answer.

I am a January intake that was denied visa in February because my sponsor did not reply to the confirmation email sent to them( God factor). The God factor set in because I thought I can not be denied because I am a state sponsored student but God showed me his existence. Someone from the chief of staff office saw the email from the embassy but decided to look away because she thought the letter is not genuine.

The school decided to issue me a new CAS after a new letter of introduction was issued by the said state government. In all I give God the glory.

If I can ask you the same....how long did it take you to get the CAS coz I just made my payment last week Wednesday

It took two weeks before cas was inside.
Though the said the had an issue then that was why it took that long.

Usually happens when you have been rejected previously and checks is been carried out thoroughly.

Never been rejected.
This is my first time of applying for a uk visa.

It simply means that they could not finish the processing of your visa application on time...maybe they were unable to finish verification or other issues.

Nothing to be afraid of so far your submitted docs are genuine. Expect your visa by Friday or next week Monday (I am sure you did priority).

I got the mail this morning and I went for biometrics on the 28th.

Make enough enquiry about other schools offering the course, their course modules, placement and have a valid reason for choosing Bradford also avoid talking about places you intend to visit while studying.

I was issued CAS this morning.
An interview was conducted and likely questions was sent from the school and also from the Nigeria representative.
