Smdh! So many Nlanders said some peeps they know earn an average of 55k and yet can survive with a family of 4! Damn. I won't buy into that. Have you guyz considered 4x4 maintenance and proximity to work place? I mean, you drive 4x4 to office of about 40km daily round trip, you pay rent of 15k monthly (won't believe a returnee from uk with 4x4 would leave in a shanty of 15k in Lagos! Not in Ilesha ba) and still you wanna survive on 55k! Oh please abeg talk something attainable. @op, on 130k monthly you can still manage to keep afloat without begging. It would take self discipline and God's grace for you to have some personal savings from this take home.. Goodluck. |

Lesson to learn... Women: 1. keep caustic tongue in check 2. See your husband as the head of the family (Doesn't mean you wont have privilege to air your views) 3. Be calm when hubby is HOT 4. In the eventuality of hubby running from trouble by leaving home call him to say 'Hornnny am sorry' ** even u're not at fault** 5. Always be a supporting pillar to your husband, help him build his confidence in the you and the marriage. 6. Put God first in your marriage. Men: 1. Learn to tolerate and understand your wife 2. Be cool when madam is hot. It's just a passing phase 3. If your violence tendency reaches peak level simply grab your car keys and leave home for 2-3 hours top.... Just leave the 'war' scene. Go to a joint and help yourself with chilled bottle of Amarula to drown a plate of catfish pepper-soup (well, that's what I would do)4. If madam calls to say 'hornny, ayam sorry' simply let off steam and return home. 5. Men, vibrate and shout when you are angry. 6. Put God first in your marriage. Some women have caustic tongues. I can't remember the number of times I did 'disappearing act' on my woman. Ayam even afraid of saying 'I do' to her on that day. Women, learn to understand your men. Most women won't say things they say to their husbands to their bosses @ works. I, personally don't like argument with my woman. Yeah, I could flare up and behave unexpectedly borne out of stress at office and thinking of how to keep the family afloat. To avoid high bp and needless home stress I simply do the 'disappearing act'. Don't wanna 'quench' before my time.. |

@ Op you need to support your pedigree with professional exams. Degree certificates alone won't get you that desired job as intended. Degree without practical skills is useless. Practical skills are measured via professional exams. Get professional certifications in your line of studies and you would be fine. It worked for me. I lost a job opportunity with MTN as a result of lack of certification in the required exam. Now, with certifications in Cisco CCNA, ComPTIA A+ & Network+, CISP, WNAP and Oracle I never regret my certifications. Certification helps. Goodluck 6 Likes |
