This Is The End?

Is this the end?
My thoughts, blind
My soul, hallow
My spirit, shallow

My feelings, empty
My heart, shaky
My mind, quaky
My pen, very angry.

Is this the end?
My friends, condescend
My girlfriend, abscond
Her family, depend
Her friends, confound

The government, fallow
The people, wallow
The Naira, bellow
The dollar, aglow

This is the end!.

A Loving Welcome.

The Earth rejected me,
The Wind refused to blow me away,
Water refused to swallow me,
Then came Fire,
With loving arms, outstretched
And embracing...

Death Is Only The Beginning.

Behold the Grim Reaper,
He comes for those six feet under,
And also, the still birth,
Thus, he’s the Angel of Death.

Good Friends

Our eyes are heavy,
Darkness rushes up to give us
A cold hard kiss.

An atom bomb explodes
Before our eyes…
The darkness is blinding,
Our feeling is empty,

Everyone looks like burnt paper
As they scattered across the wind,

Their screams are drowned in silence
As darkness embrace us as good friends.

Sigh...

It Comes For Us All.

Reaper
Brings grief and tears
Causes death unparallel
Sorrow despair and Emptiness
It’s death.

The Feeling.

The night is as cold as a grave yard,
The wind feels like making love to a corpse.
The sky is moonless, starless, it’s as if God
Painted the sky with all shade of blackness.

Silence creeps about like hopeless souls.
The creepy silence orchestrate songs of malady
While despair conducts it like a symphony

This must be what death feels like…
The feeling shocking beyond comprehension,
The feeling that embraces silence,
The feeling we all must feel.

Welcome.

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri On Peter Obi's UK House Ownership by BurningBlade: 12:07pm On Oct 17, 2018

Listen to urself. Only place he has a home and only place he has a house, pls spot the difference?
How do u expect someone who lived somewhere for 17 yrs not to build or buy a property there, if he can?
What impt is when the property was purchased, before he became governor or after.
people have lived in Sokoto for more than 30 years and still don't own a house there. Even though they can afford one.

A house and a home allude to having a structure put in place which usually involve a building of residence where one live with family members.

Hope you know the difference, now? smiley

and you also missed it. he listed cities in nigeria meaning he was referring to the houses in nigeria. besides. his home is his native home, which is anambra.

i don't even know why this should be APC's concern. he bought the house long before he became a governor.
I believe saying he has a home in Onitsha alluded that a structure was put in place. A structure meaning a house where human beings live.

He mentioned cities in Nigeria, where no such structure was erected by him, but forget that the internet have eyes.

Thats why feminism come into play. Feminism is idea to change Societys expectations about our roles.
the onus rest with the parents of such children, not us. This is the very reason why feminism is dead on arrival.

Then a girl hawking on the street is the parents fault.
Maybe she was sent to hawk because the parents couldn't foot her bills not because the parents are ignorant of child's education and empowerment
this is exactly my point. The parents fault, not society.

This Reno Omokri like speaking from both side of his mouth, what nonsense!

I bet Reno Omokri missed the part where Peter Obi said the only place he has a home is Onitsha.

I'll keep saying it that the worse mistake nigerians will ever make, is to vote back PDP into ASO ROCK.

who are the society? you and I.
not really. The society might expect such, but the onus rest with us to change society's expectation about our roles.

A girl child who was sent to hawk on the road side without going to school, should society be blamed or her parents?

Eberechi24:
feminism is not gender war. am a feminist because I believe in equal representatio of both genders, this do not interfere with gender roles.
A man who wants the best for his daughter is a feminist.
Feminist movement come into play when girls are deprived of rights in society. when girls are relegated to kitchen and lack of exposure. When girls are made to believe that they have nothing to offer to society. Feminism is female liberation from inferiority complex
Feminism has nothing to with relationship or gender war. both genders needs each other.

my question to you is: who relegate girls/women to the kitchen and who make girls believe they have nothing to offer in society?

Try as they may, feminism will never take root in Nigeria. That's a standard truth they can take to the bank any day, any time.

When u purposely distort ur judgment like this in favor of an ephemeral interest, u pay exorbitant spiritual price with negative ROI. If only u know the extent of damage u r doing 2urself! The argument is clear that the treatment meted out to Ganduje & Lawal & other Buhari men under the same condition, was far softer than the one being meted out to Fayose & all u can say is 'if he's found wanting, he should be brought to book'!
my friend be silent and stop sounding like a man trying to justify why his wife cheated on him.

I made a statement saying "if fayose is found wanting he should face the book" doesn't that translate to if he's found guilty he should be trialled and if he's found not guilty he should be left alone? Or you're too much of an English language recluse to know the meaning of 'if'?
