Isn't it obvious that Iran suffered a humiliating defeat in the hands of the Israelis. They sought for cease fire because the regime was about to fall, the citizens were beginning to get agitated and calling for it's fall.

The next round of the fight will see the Mullahs fall and a new Iran born. Iran will disintegrate with many province declaring independence. This is what the Israel wants, supported by Saudis, UAE and Qatar.
