This isn't right oh. Parents shouldn't force their daughter to marry against their will. Though it is good for parents to suggest to their daughter a partner in a fair manner. If she like the person no probs but if otherwise, she shouldn't be forced. The prophet prohibits this.

I think what you should do now is to invite her relatives since talking to her yourself proves abortive. Inform them(may be her father, mother etc) of what's going on, she might open up to them. I love seeing couples and I love marriage.

I have read insensitive thoughts on this issue that you can start to wonder how some people think.

Fact is majority of polygamous men wont allow their own daughters get into polygamy. I have seen this close to me. The man wouldnt want his daughter with a married man/any who could.

I even heard(not sure how authentic), that the prophet frowned at Ali marrying another woman after Fatima. He became polygamous only after her death. That is fatherly love for you.

Don't hate what Allah had permitted oh sisters! So that we won't fall into nifaq(hypocrisy). Allaah is Al 'aleem and Al akeem.

I know that the conditions for marriage are four and Islam is never mentioned as one of them.

Which of them? Allaah only permits the males to marry from among the ahl kitaab(i think you are aware of this through the Quran). It's haram my sister because Allaah did not permits it. And it's considered adultery and she need to make taubah.

They weren't married in the first place because it's prohibited for a muslim lady to marry a non muslim man.The first thing she should do is to terminate the marriage and make taubah.
