sorry to derail a lil'. This reminds me of an mp3 lecture i once listened to. The lecture was organised by NMSS, Ede poly chapter(i can't really recollect) and d topic was on marriage. In it, d lecturer supported sistas makin there intention known (if it happens dat way) and warned both brodas and sistas fm formin/hidin there feelins wen approached. To buttress his point, he sighted an example he claimed to have happened to an MSS broda/sista wen they were in medical sch in one of d universities in SW. He said d broda approached d hajia but she was formin and givin excuses. Without wastin time, d broda moved on to d nxt hajia who consented and a nikkah was fixed asap. Lol......wen d 1st hajia heard abt d broda's nikkah to anoda sista, she busted into tears and vowed if the broda didnt comebak to her, she'd make sure d nikkah didnt progress. After much intervention by The NMSS @ d nat. level, she was included in the nikkah. Lol....guess dats a double-blessin' to d broda.

Some scholars say any game that doesn't benefit you one way or the other I.e mentally is discouraged.
But games like scrabble, Quran challenge e.t.c are ok as far as it doesn't affect salat like tbaba1234 said.

Apart from being game of chance, i think there's an Hadith where the prophet prohibited dice in general .

I think playing with dice(ludo) is haram
