The draws they do now are for people with job offer, Strategic Initiative Recruitment.
Doesn't matter if there's family ties

Very good score. Mine is 572. My sister lives there too. Winnipeg to be precise. I so much believe that before December, our draw will take place.

I am hoping so as well. My sister is in Brandon. Gave me 50 extra points. I was projecting June/July before cos it was July they did it last year. Wish us all the best.

Manitoba did draw yesterday and didn't for people with family ties. I don taya for these people oh. Any other person waiting like me? Abi na only me waka come?

I will advise that you should be a little patient with the MPNP since you have family ties in Manitoba. I strongly believe the draw will take place before the year ends.

I have submitted an EOI to MPNP and have a score of 604 out of 1000.

I checked SNIP and realized my NOC doesn't match my certificate.
As Manitoba hasn't done the draw I am just looking for other option(s).

Please does anyone know or have an idea of when Manitoba will draw for FSW (sponsorship), I mean people that have family ties to the province? I read it was last done July 2021 and before then, June 2019.

That's what I've applied to, I just want to know if I should still hold on or find another province to apply to.

Mandamus

I no be lawyer, wahala no be my work but this is my understanding of how it works:

Stage 1 - your lawyer writes to the court for an application for leave, IRCC gets asked by court for status of app. IRCC must respond within 30days. They may finalise and approve within this first 30 days. If they respond that they have not finalised, then lawyer will file an affidavit (lawyer must do this within 30 days of IRCC's response) for you with your history querying IRCC e.g. AOR was 2018, remeds done and passed in 2022, in short history from your GCMS and any recent updates. IRCC must file their own affidavit within 30 days giving an explanation. The hope and expectation is that IRCC finalises the application before the end of 30 days because they really have no excuse to state in the affidavit as the reason for not finalising the app. And going to court without a concrete excuse is not wise.

Stage 2 - If there is a problem and IRCC have a valid reason for not finalising. Then IRCC must respond to your lawyer's affidavit within 30days. The judge then reads the 2 affidavits and decides whether the matter goes to court or not.

It is unbelievable to me that one girl from Nigeria can take IRCC to task. I still cannot get over it. There is a reason why countries with functioning and fair judicial systems seem to prosper relative to those who don't........
