Amerinancy:Amerinancy LIAR the great. |
bittertruth:At Gate area for Ipaja. I still met the light after I came back from church. it just left this afternoon |
hmohammed:Which Lagos are you talking about. We get light for my area tgis morning. I don't know what you are talking about. |
gaebliss:3 months. But make sure your circumstance has changed considerably. Because a guy was asked in my presence, "what has changed about you since your last application?" He could not answer...you don't want to know the rest of the story. |
This makes me to remember the adage that says " better safe than sorry ... It is preferable to be cautious in one's choices and actions than to suffer afterwards." |
Taken from different experiences of nairalanders that were turned back to Nigeria from port of entries. 1. Showing up at a port of entry different from what your stated in your visa application form. You will have to do a lot of explaining why you do that if its your first entry with the visa. people have been deported for that same reason. 2. Not having a return ticket back to your home country. this can be construed as having no plan to return to your country and you are immediately sent back before you are allowed to enter. 3. Not traveling with money. It was so embarrassing when i read a personal report of a nairalander how he was send back because he traveled with no kobo in his pocket hoping to arrived in the hand of a relation waiting to pick him up. He was only showing them mastercard as his only proof of fund that he had money in it. Unfortunately he was deported from the spot. 4. Going with excessive luggage making it look as if you are relocating. you stated that you are visiting for seven days but your luggage show otherwise that you have come to stayput. A nairaland had that as one of the reason he was deported. They did not trust him that he will leave their country because of his excess lauggage. 5. Going with your credential. it saddened my heart when i read a report of a girl by his nairalander brother how she was sent back from the port of entry simply because her credentials were found in her luggage. this gave her away as a immigrant going to look for a job as against going to visit or for tourism. For a student visa, that is understandable. 6. Having your destination country phone number on your phone while you stated that you do not know or have any relation in the country. This can arouse scrutiny to an extent of deporting you. I read how someone's phone was collected at the port of entry and the official look through it only to find a local phone number of the country when the traveler stated that he did not have any contact in the country. 7. Not going with the documents that confirm the purpose of your trip. A nairalander was going for a program. He was asked to produce documents proof of the program. He didn't have it and he wanted to show them the soft copies of the documents maybe from his tablet or whatever. He was asked why didn't he have them on paper. He was not given any chance to show the soft copies until he was deported. 8. Going to give birth when you did not declare it during your visa interview. This is seriously frowned at. many heavily pregnant women have been sent back for that reason. If you scale through because your pregnancy is still not visible enough and you go to give birth, it will affect your next visa application negatively. 9. Using the visa for the first time for a purpose other than what it was issued for. You will need a lot of explaining to do as to why you change the purpose of use of the visa if you will no[img][/img] ort be deported. 10. Saying a different thing from what you filled in your visa application form. this could be dangerous. so, you can add yours or your port of entry experience so we learn. |
Naijacitizen:Who is an INFIDEL? This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry. "The man who walks with God always gets to his destination". If you still have a pulse, you have a divine purpose to accomplish. As it stands today, the Islamic religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially amongst the minority races!! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session, there was presentations by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim who each explained their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. So, the Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I then responded. So, let me make sure I have this straight ie. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. 'He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine the Pope can command all Catholics to kill those of your faith or in addition, Dr Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Muslim was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me too?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the naked truth about the evil in Muslims' beliefs. |
dolphinheart:yes they were used in the old testament. Pagans used musical instruments first before God talked about it. Study your bible well. So it has pagan origin. Even many old testament practices including some ordained by God Himself were not practicable in the new testament. Or have you even seen Jesus praised God with music or acknowledged musical instruments? Or the apostles too? Apostles didn't authorize it. Mind you. I am not saying musical instruments are sins. But it was used for idolatry first in the bible. The question of pagan origin is not the issue. What the issue is, is what you make of that now. |
dolphinheart:What about the use of musical instruments. Be it for personal use or church use. It's use was associated with paganism. Pagans were the first to use musical instruments. Early Christians avoided it. Some churches today use only their clapping because of that, for example, Church of Christ. |
Jozzy4:Early Christians were human beings. Was it because Jesus said so or because of their personal opinion about it. Even Paul gave his personal opinions on issues and still issue a disclaimer that it's not God that said so. That's it's what he just thought to be ok. We play musical instruments in churches today. The same early Christians considered it then as paganism. |
craziebone:bro, no disrespect. are you high? where in the bible did God ask a 14 year old to be married? stop peddling what you dont know and stop telling lies against God to avoid His wrath. Woe is he that says when God does not say. thats what my bible tells me. i want to beleive you didnt see it in the bible that God instruct such. |
Dav24:people have been paying ransom .no be today. question of where and how doesnt matter. if your love one, God forbid , is kidnapped. you totaly put the police at the total control for rescue is at your own risk because your love one may not come out alive. it has happened before |
arabianights:dont live in the past. while crusade and jihad were going on simultaneously in the medieval era. people in both religions had their ugly past. but this is 21st century my friend. islam has remained as archaic as to take us back to dark ages by muslims still committing atrocities in the name of islam. we have bad individuals in every religion. but when it comes to, oh we are committing these for and in the name of our religion, muslims are number one |
