Mashnino... I mean I agree with you hence the block or subsequent removal... Btw if there was supposed to be a coded insult there... see how that went nowhere.... |
the new annoying phenomena... Clowns getting on fb and adding people randomly and because you happen to have one or two chats with them.. the clowns start to think your in a relationship. My favorite stupid questions/ quotes is " so tell me something funny about yourself", " i love you", and even the worse part is the inability to take a joke or detect sarcasm.... abeg how a sister go do? |
can i please please get a copy? blessinggana@gmail.com |
Our type?? please elucidate... and the most important topics dude our country is going to hell in a hand basket but sha we all have prioritiesim just saying that a forum is not the avenue to met european sisters abroad but to each his own. I for one and my friends who live in london think its ridiculous but good luck sha |

bluetooth If your incapable of reading or doing a quick google search im seriously afraid for the future of our country. SMDH |
word of advice- if you keep looking in the gutter all you will find is trash how about you move your foraging grounds to areas where women of substance are... nightclubs are most likely not going to work for ya.. how about an educational forum? women who work for grass root organisations? or working professionals?? see that wasnt so hard now was it? x |
To all the sexist clowns that are incapable of reading.. just because she takes time to look good doesnt mean she isnt qualified for the job imagine that nonsense that because she is a beauty queen she is automatically useless.. what part of law degree and business woman did your eyes skip over... yeeshhh God save our country from idiots. Whether she is a charge or bail lawyer is irrelevant... the point is she is an educated later which is worlds away from what some of you will ever qualify to be |
I took the barrister route and im set to be called soon and again thanks for all of the information. Bee |
I just want to say thank you to everyone for their input into this matter. The reason I brought up the sexism was just to gauge how much more difficult it would be to break into the higher levels of the firm. Wow 2 years just for conversion.. i believe thats for the bar 11 courses thats intense... i feel like i have been in school for ages... so that makes it three in all.But hard work never kills anyone and whats done must be done I initially had the mindset of going into trademarks and copyrights here in london however given the fact that I wanted to eventually come home i think a switch to maritime and shipping law or oil and gas will be more appropriate I do intend on getting some experience here and eventually opening my own firm back home. However the conversion and youth corp point must be dealt with.Again thanks for the input. Sincerely, Bee |
I think all in all I have spent all of 5 year in Nigeria over the course of my 20 plus some years. I am set to be a qualified lawyer in the UK and just wondering if coming home is a good idea. I mean i have romanticized version of things as they were. you know a well culture society, with respect for elders and other things the western world doesn't really hold dear. is it worth it giving two years of my life- 1 to do youth corp and the other to do law school to convert my degree?? Culture wise Are nigerian men really as sexist as some have led me to believe? Thanks in advance |
