FamilyRe: Guys, Can You Get Married To A Lady From A Broken Home?(separated Or Divorced). by butterflyatalan: 9:22pm On Sep 24, 2015
Mindfulness:
Trying to keep a family together no matter what can be hell as well. We should stop generalizing. There are millions of "intact" families in which everyone suffers and which at the end produce pathological personalities. Equally there are millions of families that are "broken" but create beautiful minds.

Forgive the dog. Do not wish evil upon him. Tell your friend, actually hold a meeting with both of them. Let it go. God will take the wheels from there.

I'm from a broken home. now I'm married. I can lay down everything to ensure nothing break us apart. I went through hell on earth, I will never... by God grace allow my children to go through same. I thank God for giving me a mother who also acted a father. Broken home is like a curse to the children.
But ma'am, please. If your husband ain't treating you well, don't think you have to die there wink... just saying

Ok, all I will say is rhat, I hope and pray that your children will not be in the position of which you're asking. The devil break homes. Not people. He only uses people. Now If you're gonna blame innocent ladies for the devil's work, God will question you!

Who are you to be in the position to ask such a question. Like the bible says, it's important to just ask for wisdom and understanding. Cause, some questions need them. Like.......:l

Timbuktou:
It's a risky proposition. Most children from broken homes haven't been taught how to keep a relationship or home together and make one work; and most of them never bother to learn. E no dey hard dem to divorce at the slightest marital inconvenience or check out emotionally. They are usually biased against the estranged parent and the parent's gender due to one-sided accounts from custodial parents.

Anybody intending to marry a product of a broken home would do well to ensure due diligence in determining their marriage ideals and conflict resolution beliefs and methods.

Who gives a flying fvck about what they do in advanced countries? Abi na only you dey live for advanced country?

So what's the point in buying a car and let it sit in your garage while you use public transportation? It defeats the whole purpose of buying a car. New cars spoil too from a mixture of things like driving through all the flooding in Lekki, adulterated fuel, just to mention a few.
Certified used cars will serve as if not better than a new car. And you are getting it cheaper too. Why do you think that the price of a car becomes highly discounted as soon as you register it? Because potential buyers and other Nigerians know what a typical car goes through in Nigeria. It is the reality.

Worst part of it all is that quiet a good number of car owners in Nigeria do not jack about cars. They buy because a particular brand is en vogue and affordable. Regular check up? Yeah right. You expect the folks that don't do medical check ups to take a car for routine maintenance.
/
Okay. Need you to know that even in advance country like where I live, people with cars( Including exotic cars) still take public transportation when the need be.

Unless you live in Abuja and few other metropolis, it makes no sense to buy a new car in Nigeria. Expensive parts, bad roads, inexperienced mechanics (car may be under warranty but if you venture out of your state), the environment (washing off mud scratches the paint and dulls the color) and danfo drivers/okada who cannot wait to dent the car.

A newer car usually looks different in Nigeria because of the numerous abuses it goes through on a daily basis.

So why not buy a certified used car that has gone through several points inspection. It makes more sense.
/
I disagree with you. Buying a new car will be better. Think of the cost of repairing the car over time, specially with how Nigerian auto engineers treat the cars. When you calculate how much you gotta drop every time you visit the autoshop, you might as well as just buy a new car. Common sense will tell you never to use the car on bad roads. You may entertain the use of public transportation when the need be. You don't have to be on the road with your car every time.

Being an adventurous lady, I would have loved to get a sport car, but being a student cannot allow it. So I am opting to get an economic brand such as Toyota, Hyundai or maybe Nissan. Toyota lasts long, easy on gas, and the best in terms of economic cars. I'm trying to get something with 4 cylinders. ..and with modern feel to it. Most importantly, something in my price range. I'm getting a 2016 Toyota corolla. I got one for a cheap priceb $18000, including processing fee.

Mileage can be tampered at times
That's because you're buying from a bad dealer. Not sure if they have trusted and certified dealers in Nigeria. Still, mileage is the most important. Heard Nigerians don't know about that aspect
Car TalkRe: Things You Must Consider Before You Buy That Car by butterflyatalan: 1:56pm On Sep 21, 2015
OP ALSO FORGOT TO STATE THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT; THE MILEAGE OF THE CAR!! DONT JUST LOOK AT THE BODY, LOOK AT THE MILEAGE. BUY A CAR BASED ON ITS MILEAGE, NOT ITS LOOK!!!

Very disappointed in the responses. Every Nigerian woman does not not deserve a Nigerian man. Nope!

OK ladies? Please, do not Think being with a Nigerian man is compulsory! Please, think outside the box, and run away ad far as your legs can take you. Nigeria is just breeding rude, obnoxious, and unintelligent men; it's an epidemic!

For those of you married to one, sorry! I'm sorry you have to live with him, and carry his seed (s). God is your strength.

A man is meant to cultivate a woman. That is, to help nature her into the woman of his dreams. By no means do I mean he should abuse her, traumatized her, be controlling, or arrogant towards her. I mean, a man is meant to help shape a woman into what she was created to be. A lot of factors may alter a woman's character ( persinality, gene, environment, circumstances, experiences, etc.). However, the right man will nurture her and help her develop in all areas of life. A real man will be patient, loving, and reprimanded her with love, just like he will himself.

When a naija babe is aggressive or rude to a guy,,she's aware of it. If u don't punish her either with words or action, she wouldn't respect u , she'll think u can't standup 4 ur self.

OP..hope u get my point sha
For a man, you are one incompetent person. You are not even up to one yard of husband material, and I'm unapologetic about it. What manner of man will insult his girlfriend's parent? Not yet your lawfully wedded wife, but you took the freedom to open your mouth to talk to her about her parents in such an uncouth manner. Please, step down, take several seats, and go learn how to treat a woman(Including her family).
