Please I need a clarification. Can someone who is not a civil servant apply for NHIS? I am a business man

Experienced travelers please, what could make someone that has been travelling to US and also who has British visa turned back at second screening MMIA Not even US port of entry. A woman was refused bording Delta Airline to Atlantic last week. The Airline claimed they received a call from US immigration not to allow her fly. Am just curious

It's taking longer than expected. Still be hopeful for positive response. Meanwhile I just picked up my passport this morning before heading to the office at Isolo DHL Office. Now planning to go on vacation by 1st week of May hopefully.

Got an update minutes back for case update today 3rd into admin processing, there was no clarity on whether its issuance or to expect interview invite.

@Vuitton check your status by the grace of God mine has changed to issued today

Visa approved today. I have been a silent follower and this forum actually helped put me through all the steps needed.

Appointment was for 6.30am I was 8 in line but second to be interviewed by the white guy in window 3. The lady before me who was a Medical Doctor going for MPH also got her student visa approved. Every other window I observed were busy dishing out blue papers mostly to students.

I noticed the VO that interviewed me took his time interviewing the lady with student visa before approving her unlike others.

My transcript


VO: Why are you going to the US
Me: I am going for the initial convening of the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity program.

VO: Tell me about this fellowship
Me: It's a non residential fellowship for a year with 3 physical convenings in Us and Rwanda. It trains global leaders and professionals working in diverse areas to foster health equity.

VO: How would this benefit you?
Me: I work for an organization that provides free oral healthcare to the less privileged. This will enable me learn from leaders in health equity how to build a more sustainable health organization, the mentoring and online courses is also an added advantage since it will put me through organizing different community projects.

VO: This organization you work for provides only free dental care. (He didn't ask for the name)
Me: Yes, I am a Dentist

VO: And you founded this organization
Me: Yes I did

VO: Kept typing for a long time, I guess he was searching for my organization. He apologized for taking too long that the system was loading.
Me: No problem

VO: Have you been outside Nigeria before?
Me: Yes, I had my degree in Ukraine, went to Slovakia in 2009, Uk 2012, Ghana 2016

VO: What were you doing in Slovakia?
Me: Clinical elective/rotation

VO: Uk?
Me: Visiting family

VO: Ok, your visa has been approved.....
Me: Thanks


He didn't ask if I was married or had children, also didn't ask how much I earned and all. No documents were requested.

Mine too has been updated to admin processing. Hopefully it will change to issued tomorrow or Monday. Wishing you the very best of luck

I think it's because of the series of pub holidays during this period. Hopefully this week, status will change to issued by His grace. It's a new new year gift from God to us. I believe so

Please oo who did Dropbox 26th November. My case last updated 27th November and no feed back yet. Just want to know if they have started returning passports for such date and even beyond that date. I am just worried

Same day I submitted mine 26th Nov too last update was 27th Nov and every sInce then no uplate. Have you collected now?

I wil advise she go next week like Monday or Wednesday atleast by then she is almost 100% certain passport is ready for pick up.

You should be able to retrieve 90% is your details. That was what I used in my current application. The rest of the details are something you will definitely know

Request for their sign on details on the DS-160 portal ie The securitt questiom and his response, First 5 letters of surname and year of birth and I will assist you retrieve them.

If you are actually the one that fill your firm , you can actually reprint..Buzz me and I will guard you on how to go about it.

I am in same issue with you. Have you finally gotten yours? I submitted on 26th Nov and till now nothing yet. Case last updated is 27th Nov...It has past the 15business working days.

Greatest Mathematicians...i really commend evrybody's opinion concerning the subject matter.Before now,i used to think d career doesnt have a real life application during your first degree programme.i was tinkin its when one might hv gone for his or her masters programme thats when the real life application will begin to surfice.But from what i have seen so far in this platform,i must say am proud to have gone for that course
