I think dropcatch is the best cos they control so many registrers. Virtually all the domains I backordered thru another company was taken by dropcatch. Tried them today and they caught one for me.

And pls stay away from hexonet.

Then click the Site Map button....

It will then display circles corresponding with the years that the domain name was archived..

Click on the circle one after the other to check the achieved results of each year

I believe that registering domain name during promo period shouldn't be spontaneous. It should be speculative and highly researched in advance.

Most of the names I registered during Promo periods are name that I have on my wishlist few weeks or month to the promo.

Morover, if I see a new domain name I want to register during the promo period, I will subject it to some level of intense scrutiny using the following tools:

Web.archive.org: to check the history of the website. If it happen that the domain name was previously owned by a business outfit not a domainer, there's a higher chance of selling it.

GoDaddyAppraisalTools: I check GoDaddy appraisal tool to check if similar version of the name has sold. Moreso, I visit the sold domain name if it was bought by a reseller or end users.

Google Map :For Geo+KW, I check use google map to check the number of end users available. This is the search string I use on google for example
"Best Dentists in Luling, Texas :map.google.com"

If the domain name scale through this three stage, I then go ahead to register it

If you can get to Ejigbo which is close to Ikotun, you can take a bike to a place called Canoe then get a tricycle going to 7&8 alight at Inua Mohammad... ask any one for the school.


Alternatively get a bus going to Mushin, alight at Aye bus stop before Laspotech, get tricycle going to 7&8 alight at Kara street then ask anyone.

Thanks, first outbound letter I didn’t mention price. He replied to find out price and I stated the price I listed it on dan. Didn’t hear back from him after some couple of follow up like 3times...

Just sent him one more last follow up that there is discount on the domain and he responded immediately on how much he can offer. I accepted it and moved on.

I also notice that some persons were using English names just sound foreign and I know why. I use my REAL NATIVE name for outbound and many of them, if interested, will quote my name in their reply, Hello Jixxxx, Thank you Jixxx and so on.

Do whatever works for you and nobody has acknowledge using the Transferwise method I shared earlier. It has now become my goto payment.

Another one you can use is Xoom.com, which works like Transferwise.com. Xoom.com is owned by Paypal and your buyer can use Paypal via Xoom to pay you straight into your bank account!

Please, I need someone to shed more light on my out bounding process. I created a gmail accounts strickly for domaining only. With those emails, I have sent 426 out bounding emails , across 6 domain names I hand regged, using the sales letter given on the past page of this thread. Out of wish I got just 6 replys, one "unsubscribe", three "undelivered mails", two "how much" (both failed to respond after I quoted $230). . No response from the rest.

I later mailed those two endusers, with reduction price of $150, all to no avail. I am so obsessed with checking of email account from time to time in order to reply clients fast ( you know most of those endusers are always on impulse, judging from things I have read). I felt a bit down, it over two weeks I sent out last email and my bf added salt to injuries by saying that with the way I check emails these days, it seems that I am into yahoo yahoo ( I assumed Invictus Obi saga prompts him so say this)

What do you guys think I should do, should I wait for a bit more and then send the another set of fresh mails? Or I should reg more names??Thanks in advance.

Madam I hail your courage, if your instinct says you should mail them, kindly do that.. most times it works out and you might get a positive response. Just send mail that there is a discount on the domain and they should let you know if they are still interested...
