Logicbwoy: How does that make sense? We are not from Adam and Eve. The first people were from Africa and not the middle east.the middle-east is northeast africa. only thing seperating it is the suez canal. was once called northeast africa. thats the location of the ancient african kingdoms |
hypeman: John Wall is a great player but he isn't really ready for the NBA yet... Have you seen him ball?i have seen him a few times. wasnt really impressed. to be honest with you, few players impress me nowadays. the golden era of basketball is gone. the golden era is when you had hakeem going against jordan or barkley or ewing or larry johnson. when you had john starks going against reggie miller. scottie pippen going against clyde drexler. dominique wilkins, spud webb, tim hardaway, alonzo mourning, sprewell, etc etc hard nosed rough basketball with massive talents. that was the golden era. i struggle to watch it now. too many prima donnas |
afam4eva: This olympic game has got to be our worst in history. The three 100 meters sprinter have all crashed out.hey it is what it is. look on the bright side. you dont have any vested interest in watching the olympics. at least thats how i view it. this is one of the olympics i have nor cared about at all. only thing i have watched are senegal in football, nigeria vs usa in basketball, england in both their football games, lithuania and usa basketball. and thats it. so i am only watching football and basketball. however i think senegal will crash out today so thats it for football. |
hypeman: I'm a big tennis fan, and tennis is gradually becoming a multi-racial sport now... I know a naija girl that plays where I play in London, she's about 11 - and this girl is very good... I know she's definitely going to be at one the grandslams in the next couple of years, she's that good...description of hardaway in wiki Timothy Duane "Tim" Hardaway (born September 1, 1966) is a retired American basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and was one of the league's best point guards in his prime. Six feet (1.83 m) tall, he was best known for his devastating crossover dribble (dubbed the "UTEP Two-step" by television analysts), a move which he helped to popularize among younger players.[1] He is the father of Tim Hardaway, Jr.[2] am not a big john wall fan. i also like steve francis crossovers |
afam4eva: Most of the players in the Tigress are Yankee Nigerians.word ? i need to pay attention to that. i shall google it and see their games. i do know of a nigerian american girl who played in the collegiate level in america. then she returned to nigeria to coach girls in basketball. cant quite remember her name now. she left a bright future in america, apparently, and said she wanted to return to nigeria and pursue her dreams of coaching nigerian girls. inspiring story too. she was on CNN |
afam4eva: I kinda feel the women would have performed better than the male team. We have high profile players in the Tigress. But I wonder why they didn't qualify.really ? we have women basketball players ? really ? i swear i never knew. dont quite see it as a huge draw for nigerian women. thought naija women was more focused on acquiring that blackerry phone JK. |
hypeman: Did you see Serena Williams cripwalk today after winning the gold medal in tennis?i dont like tennis like that. not my thing. too many white people in it LOL. the audience is white and somewhat posh, almost all the players are white. totally not my scene. i see enough white people as it is. dont need to see more. best crossover ? i will not go for iverson simply because he is very close to the ground when he crosses. something about short people crossing does not magnify the effect. its like a 7ft person dunking ? its not as magnificent as if a 6ft person dunks. so when iverson crosses, first off he palms the ball a lot. i will go for Tim hardaway everyday all day. i love his cross over style. they are a beauty to watch. and the thing about his crossovers is that he does them in full motion. iverson, most of the time has to settle with you one on one like he did with jordan. hardaway is running at full speed at you and crosses you without stopping. best crossover dude in my opinion and like 90 percent of america will tell you tim hardaway is the king of crossovers |
dang mexico just scored against senegal |
P Beni: c'mon guys take it easy on those guys, they weren?t a match for the U.S team.they wouldnt have been a match for the usa women team neither ![]() |
hypeman: Only Tim Hardway, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, and Dywane Wade can pull that off - give Tony Skinn props for making Osama beards having Harden do the stanky leg.... Even Zab Judah would be jealous of Harden's stanky leg...HAHA yeah that was me during the usa and naija game. got banned twice. okkkkkk i guess if you insist we shall give skinn props for disgracing us ![]() |
I dnt even knw wot nigeria wil use 2 retadate dat kind of difit.may b swimin.atleast we hav gud swimers dat can cros riva nija n benue in 2 minit tru dya witch.wil just try swimin.abeg.lol
yeah we sure can swim in nigeria NOT |
shymmex: Why are you antagonizing the crossover?well i guess you can say that. ill rather the type of crossovers that break ankles though. you know the type ? you put it between the legs and fake like you are going in the direction of the leg you put it through but instead you pull a 360 degrees, while temporarily shaking the player off, the player regains his composure around the 180 degrees mark and tries to switch position to counter your 360 but his momentum is already in the opposite direction and while he instinctively tries to get in the right direction, the opposing forces in his body makes his ankles break. meanwhile you complete your 360 and throw a J while dude is breakdancing and doing the harlem shake on his poor ankle. now thats a cross-over move ![]() |
shymmex: Ekpe Udoh isn't a bum, he's decent..olowakandi a 1st pick and joe smith was a 1st pick. michael beasley was a 2nd pick. they are all bums ![]() |
usa done dey win am ooooo dont bet against the american negros. |
afam4eva: Na waoothose lithuania boys aint playing. see frustration on the face of the american players ![]() even songaila is kicking butts |
afam4eva: Technically, Perto rico is still part of the US lolmost of them get cut. usa 85 lithuania 84 |
lithuania hanging tight usa 80 lithuania 82 |
afam4eva: Yes you're right, Ike Diogu was with Golden state warrriors before he moved to??puerto rico ![]() |
shymmex: Buzugeeonly 3 comments ![]() |
shymmex: Come on, go check the video on worldstar hiphop - a lot of Americans remember him...its called momentary popularity. give it a couple of months after the olympics. nobody will remember it. folks execute crazier crossovers in the nba daily. |
afam4eva: Are you fvcking kidding me?am for real. those lithuania guys can shoot. and they got pride. |
shymmex: Al farooq Aminu is just 21 - and he's the only one that plays in the NBA, he has a bright future..no desrespek but all those players you mentioned are bums lol. at best, they are all role players. so we cant win nothing with them. we need superstars like hakeem olajuwon. which is a dream cuz people like that dont come a dime a dozen. |
usa 67 lithuania 67 dayummmmmmmmm |
afam4eva: I also heard about him for the first time in the qualifiers. The Nigerian players that I've known for a long time are Somtochukwu Ikechukwu Diogu, Ekene Ibekwe(Universirty of Maryland), Chamberlain Oguchi, and Oyedeji.me myself i knew ike diogu because he was with stephen jackson and b diddy and them goons with the golden state warriors when they made that serious run for the title a few years back. or was that kelenna azubuike ? ahhh i get them confused. also heard about al farook aminu. thats about it |
shymmex: I'll remember that crazy crossover that broke James Harden's ankles - that crossover was epic, bruv...Tony Skinn is popular ? never heard of him till a few days ago. speaking of epic, that was a very easily executable crossover. if you want epic crossovers youtube TIM HARDAWAY |
shymmex: They shot the ball far better at the FIBA qualifiers, I don't know why their shooting has been rubbish at the olympics...dunno mayne. i think all of them ( except ike diogu ) need to retire and pick a different sport. |
shymmex: At end of the, the 'one off flash' will always be remembered..trust me bruh, nobody will remember that move. nigerians arent that into basketball so nigerians def aint going to remember it. when americans remember the game, the only thing their ego will compute is how they demolished nigeria. so in short ? only skinn will remember that move. skinn and his immediate nuclear family. nobody else LOLz |
Babzilla: sure I remember that alley opp that the same James harden threw down... Boy we made those Americans look good especially the likes of carmelo anthony (37 pointsi remember during the game, one of the naija guys stoned the basketball ring with the ball. spastic mahfukaz ![]() |
shymmex: To be honest, the Nigerian players were starstruck, and they played to the gallery - that was why they lost by 83points...i would go for the word 'inept' this aint got nothing to do with starstruck. none of those guys can shoot a basketball into a 1000000 cm wide diameter ring. i think they got some form of astigmatism. the whole nigerian team. they cant shoot their way out of a paperbag. |
Babzilla: Its moves like that that gives one a groin injury. LOLyeah but he got a brain injury from getting lobotomized by the usa. ill rather a groin injury than a brain injury. ![]() |
shymmex: How can you say that?dunno bout you dawg but pulling a move like that after totally getting lobotomized does not count. heck the guy cant even successfully take the ball down the court without getting the ball stolen from him. in the infamous words of TLC, he is a scrub who pulled off a one off flash in the pan move ![]() |
usa 55 lithuania 51 end of first half |
