Well, congratulations ... you played very well!

It was just a joke, I hope nobody is offended.

danwo: #Can A Spirit Filled Christians....
"Spirit Filled".this is the most important point of the issue raised by OP.through out the bible "Spirit Filled" is for empowerment.adam and eve were spirit-filled,for exploits, though they weren't possessed by the serpent, the serpent made sure it short-circuited the plans with its allure.on a final note, one thing that is certain,is that God delivers His own from evil.by the way mull over this."And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Sau[/b]l, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand"- 1 Samuel 18:10

bigx: My 307 Power steering just stopped working this evening (it was like driving a trailer home sad ), I called my mechanic and he's saying my power steering pump has failed and that'd cost me 100k to replace? Is that true? Before I go out and spend unnecessary money money tomorrow.
Thanks a million!
yup its true. either that or the rubber casing thingy has dislodged and leaked out all the power steering fluid. you can keep driving it if you dont have the money but top up the power steering fluid daily.

Are you saying he loved his Night outs?....Surely not shocked shocked

I was only kidding......He himseelf knows there is no way he is ever going to make the US team.
Counting Pros and College Basketball, there are at the very least 10 point Guards ahead of him.

He is probably not interested because He knows there is more chance of me winning the EuroMillion lottery three times than there is of him playing for the US.
lol he had a nigga mindset. he loved his nightouts, soul food, women, weed, alcohol. hey thats what happens to most of em. too much money too soon. look at steve franchise ? steve francis ? too much weed and hennessy. same with stephon marbury.

Hakeem did not have the Dream Shake earlier on in his career. It's something he developed later on.
Yes he was a defensive beast right from his days playing for Phi Slamma Jamma(In one of his interviews, He claims that even goes further back to his time in Nigeria).

However Olajuwon relied more on his Superb Athleticism and Amazing Quickness earlier on in his career for his points. He had all the Tools to be an offensive beast but did not develop those now Legendary post moves till the late 80's-early nineties.

The Final Series vs the Celtics in 1986 highlighed this.It was still raw at this point and although he did show flashes of his brillance he would be later renowned for, they were not as refined.
you are right. and all the finesse came to an epitome against the san antonio spurs. oh boy watching that game was an or-gasmic experience. i never seen nothing like it in my life. that dream shake sure is one heck of a move. he had david robinson looking like a girl scout

I'm not arguing that - I've lived all my life out here as well, but I love Africa/Nigeria more.. That's the mentality!! grin

His family lives in the UK as well..

I like the guy, he's a very humble and soft spoken bloke.. And he's doing a lot in South Sudan as well...
yup and all that time he was playing for chicago, i lived in chicago. so he my dude.

I don't think he can make the US team - he's about 28/29 now, and not as good as he used to be when he was with the Bulls..

He played with Emeka Okafor at Connecticut and if they wanted him, they would have selected him when they selected Emeka Okafor to play for them at the Olympics..

I don't really know, but personally, I don't think he's really interested in playing for them.
i dont think they are interested in him. i dont think he will make an american third team. there are too many point guards ahead of him. rose, rondo, to name a few. he will probably make an all american fifth team. meaning 5 nba all star teams will be formed before it gets to his turn

Luol Deng at the all star game!! cool cool grin

the guy is from africa. of course he will love africa more. but he loves britain too. he spends his summers in britain. the guy is a british citizen.

He fizzled out because of Injuries.
Injuries robbed him of the best part of his career. Grant Hill was another one.
Even with that he was still ranked in Slam Magazine's Top 75 players of all time

They are not yet consistent. It will become more consistent and efficient the longer he plays in the league.
Hakeem did not develop all of his ridiculous moves overnight. And neither did Kevin Mchale. It took time

I'm not comparing him to the dream. All I'm saying is that one or two of those moves woulda made Olajuwon smile.
amongst other things

Who told you he loves Britain like that? The guy wore a map of Africa on his t-shirt at the last all star game, he doesn't even sound British at all - he sounds American. And he lived in the UK for like 3 or 4years.. grin

Ben Gordon is proper JAMAICAN!!! grin grin

They should have tried Kelechi - he begged them for a passport but he was denied because he left the UK too young. sad
i have heard it from his mouth many times about how he loves britain and has setup many basketball camps in britain to help the youth. he also said britain saved he and his family. see now i know you just like arguing grin grin

Being a decent player in the NBA isn't a bad thing IMO..

If the Lakers had him on our team last season, who would have made the finals.. grin grin

Can you compare him to the bums on the Lakers' bench?
if the lakers had him they would have traded him. ron artest is more of an intense pressure player who can be counted on for last minute heroics. shyttt miami had him and traded him. it dont get better than miami

ben gordon is too pro-black for that mess LOL. he is american. he left britain when he was like what ? a few months old ? . and he has a nigga mentality. i dont think he will do that. luol deng however loves britain a lot. he credits britain for rescuing his family from sudan. dude grew up in brixton

He's far from a bum!!! cool

when someone says you are a decent player, thats not exactly a good thing. thats a compromise. especially if you are number 2 draft pick.

Borderline flop if you compare his achievement to Derrick Rose's achievement because they were the best two players in their draft class..

But the guy isn't a bum...

Smush Parker was a bum..

Kwame Brown is a bum..

Olowokandi was a bum..

You can't call a guy who drops 18-20points night in night out when playing as a starter a bum.
the guy was number 2 draft pick and he completely bombed out in miami. come on now. he is a decent player. but thats about it.

Don't they call Kobe, a ball hogger as well?

Beasley was the number two pick behind Derrick Rose - and people don't really like him because he's a borderline flop.
lol now you back right were i started. is this not i was trying to tell you and you kept mouthing off about how beasley is a great player blah blah blah ? see how you shot yourself in the foot ? now you finally come out with the truth grin i swear you was just arguing for arguing sake

C'mon now TMAC in his prime was a great player. Injuries slowed him down and practically killed his game.
Btw most SG are Ball hogs. It's second nature to them.

Blake Griffin is not all about the dunks.
I've seen the dude pull off some impressive post moves that would make the likes of the Dream and McHale proud.
Also most people say Shaq is all about the dunks that still did not stop him from being one of the TOP 3-4 centres in NBA history
i aint said he wasnt a great player. he made all star a few times. however he fizzled out quickly. some would say he didnt get to his potential.
