Good evening. Please can someone help me out with this:

I can't find EDU 721 (Psychology of Learning) on the exam time table. I also noticed that EDU 731 (Theory of curriculum development) came up twice on the d am time table, on the Jan 6th 2021 by 2pm and on the 9th Jan by 11am respectively.

Could it be there was a mistake? Probably instead of writing EDU 721 on one of the slots, they repeated EDU 731 instead?

You can cross check and verify. If you a PGDE student and you have seen EDU 721, please let me know where I can find it on the time table.

But if it's not there, how can the problem be rectified?

You need to consult with your supervisor and make arrangements with her/him. But I'll personally advice that you make out time to do your TP as it is a very important course. You can also make arrangements with the school to attend only when you have classes.

You don't need to be a Teacher. Approach any good school probably a school close to your place of work. Go with a good CV tailored towards teaching and a well written cover letter.

Please is there anyone in Abuja Study Centre who has done their TP?

I have questions as to how you TP went. Someone said I will need to be in my chosen school for the 5 days because the supervisor may decide to come at any time. Is it that rigid?

NB: I am not a teacher and I am not working in the school. I only want to run my PGDE. Am I expected to leave my job and sit in the school for 6 weeks?

The second semester Core courses, there's a section where u have to select just one. Look carefully. Send me a DM. I will explain better if u can't get it.

You have the liberty to pick courses from the second semester and add to the first semester. 24 units maximum.

Sorry I am asking a lot of questions but I need clarity�.

The 1st Semester for PGDE contains 7 core courses, whilst the 2nd Semester has about 22 core plus 2 electives.

My question is: To be a able to finish my PGDE in 2 semesters by doing my project and TP in the second semester, is it possible to do some of the 2nd semester courses in my 1st semester?

A young man needs a job - any kind of menial job - cleaning, welding, anything at all that can put food on his table. He is a welder but he wants to work to save up for his welding equipment so he can start up his business.

You are not alone. Same thing happened to me. And it's still the same PGDE. Check everywhere, yet nothing. I wonder why.

The only way out is for you to go to your school where you got your B.Sc for them to send your transcript to NOUN. Then when NOUN receives your transcript, your admission will then be given fully and then you can get your matriculation number.

Hello, I thought one can request for the transcript online via the school portal and they will deliver it to NOUN?

Please help me understand better cos I am about to start my admission process.

I published this article in my blog two years ago, March 2018 to be precise and it's interesting note that WHO warned about an impending virus that will cause a global widespread infection.

Here's what it said:

The World Health Organization has added a mysterious “Disease X” to a list of viruses it fears could cause a global pandemic in the future.

Virus such as Ebola, Zika, Lassa fever and severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars), which have all seen outbreaks in recent years are included as serious threats.

However, the WHO has included the ominous-sounding Disease X to its priority list for the first time this year after a review by health experts in February.

Disease X is in fact not a newly-discovered threat in itself, but a hypothetical virus, which could emerge in the future and cause widespread infection across the globe.

“Disease X represents the knowledge that a serious international epidemic could be caused by a pathogen currently unknown to cause human disease”, the WHO said in a statement.

It added healthcare officials were planning for a currently unidentified threat now to ensure: “research and development preparedness that is relevant for an unknown Disease X as far as possible.”

The organization released a list of diseases it considers pose a high risk to the public due to their potential to spark an epidemic and the limited treatment available to combat them.
