BusinessIs Trader's £200k Bar Splurge The Most Expensive Ever? by BWK(op): 5:15pm On Mar 06, 2012
Is trader's £200k bar splurge the most expensive ever?

A BUSINESSMAN blew £200,000 on what's believed to have been the most expensive round ever.
60 comments The epic outlay included £125,000 on a bottle of the world's priciest bubbly — a 30-litre double Nebuchadnezzar of Armand de Brignac Midas.

Weighing a whopping 45kg, it had to be carried to the trader's table at Liverpool club PlayGround by two members of staff.

He also shelled out over £60,000 on other drinks for himself and ten pals. His mammoth order included 40 regular-size bottles of the expensive bubbles as well as two 4.5 litre bottles of Grey Goose vodka at £2000-a-pop.

His final bill of £203,948.80, included an £18,540 TIP
Clubbers watched in shock as the man, believed to be a foreign exchange currency trader in his twenties, ordered it.

Nightclub boss George Panayiotou ordered the DJ to play the iconic opening music to the film 2001: A Space Odyssey — Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra as it was ferried to the trader's table.

One clubber said: "The club went wild when he popped this huge bottle of champagne, and they were handing out glasses of champagne to everyone in the VIP room.

"Frankly, there was no way all his group would have got through the bottle on their own anyway.

"This guy was phenomenally generous and was buying everyone in the place a drink.

"Funny thing was that he didn't seem to be drinking much himself and looked totally sober, but he was clearly having a great time.

"The party went off with a bang and everyone was toasting this guy's generosity.

"He was there with about ten friends on a private table but after the big bottle came in they were mobbed by gorgeous girls.

"There must have been about 60 of them at any time vying for his attention and he then ordered shots for every single woman in the club."

CrimeWomanising Nigerian Fraudster Hijacked Identities Of Soldiers And Nurses To Open by BWK(op): 10:20pm On Mar 05, 2012
Womanising Nigerian fraudster hijacked identities of soldiers and nurses to open 725 bank accounts in £1.3m benefits swindle
A womanising fraudster who hijacked the identities of soldiers and nurses in a £1.3million benefits plot has today been jailed for six years.

Chibuikem Uzoma-Ubani, 29, persuaded several lovers to help him launder the profits from the swindle that targeted tax credits and Sure Start maternity grants.

Denisa Camacho, 28, of Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, and Katrina Papiernikova, 27, of Romford, Essex both had relationships with Uzoma-Ubani, after arriving in the UK from Slovakia and were accused of turning a blind eye to his activities.

zoma-Ubani, of Romford, Essex, married Camacho married in 2004, then divorced her and had two children by Papiernikova.

The women both insisted they knew nothing about his crooked schemes and were both cleared of money laundering, but a third lover Ornela Miguel, 26, admitted the offence.

Uzoma-Ubani and fellow Nigerian Leonard Nwannenah, 33, of Dagenham, Essex, opened a ‘bewildering’ 752 bank accounts using the names of hard-working medics and members of the armed forces over a six-year period.

The pair were jailed for six years each while Miguel was handed a three-month sentence, suspended for 12 months.

Nwanneneh’s younger brother Okechi Nwannenah, 30, of Dagenham and Okechi’s wife Jennifer Okonkwo, 29, also allowed their bank accounts to be used to launder the proceeds.

Okechi was conditionally discharged for 18 months while Okonkwo will be sentenced later.

Prosecutor Peter Finnigan QC said the gang netted at least £665,000 and would have made £1.3million had all of the bogus applications for benefit payments been successful.

He said: ‘This case concerns the sophisticated and professional fraud operation which went on for a number of years.

‘This was done by targeting the UK’s benefit system and by cheque fraud.

‘They used a bewildering number of post office and bank accounts which numbered in the hundreds.

‘Some of the accounts were in the names of the fraudsters themselves, some were in the names of others who were willing to help them, and yet others were in the names of identities which had been hijacked by the fraudsters.

‘They did not get away with everything they tried because fraudulent applications were weeded out

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Bundesliga Overtakes Premier League As World's Most Profitable by BWK(op): 11:08pm On Jun 09, 2010
(CNN) -- The German Bundesliga has overtaken the English Premier League as the most profitable in the world, according to financial analysts Deloitte.

Despite predicting that the Premier League's revenue will top $2.8 billion in the season just gone, Deloitte said clubs' profitability has more than halved between the 2007-08 season and the 2008-09 campaign.

Deloitte's annual review of football finance also showed that the total European football market grew to a record $19.3 billion in 2008-09.

According to Dan Jones, a partner in the firm's Sports Business Group, the reason the Bundesliga has leapfrogged the Premier League is due to its clubs' control of wages.
"The simplest measure to explain why the Bundesliga has overtaken the Premier League is that their clubs exercise more restraint over the wage bill," he told CNN.

"In the Premier League, the wages to revenue ratio is 67 percent, but it is just 51 percent in the Bundesliga. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the licensing of clubs is stricter in Germany in terms of the financial regulations they have to adhere to.

"Secondly, rather than being private enterprises under the control of an individual, like Roman Abramovich at Chelsea, clubs are under control of the fans.

TravelThe Dispossessed: Mother Living In Limbo With No Job, No Benefits And No Cash by BWK(op): 9:48pm On Mar 04, 2010
Bent against the chill in a flimsy skirt and top, Ade picked up her children from school and walked towards Bromley High Street where she stopped across the road from a barber shop advertising a “wash & cut for £10”.

But Ade, 39, had not come for a quick trim. Rather, she waited for the last customer to leave before the barber discreetly signalled to her, and she and her family trooped into the shop. For the next 14 hours this hair salon, comprising a sofa, microwave oven and a lavatory at the back, doubled as a home for Ade and her family — her children aged 10, nine, seven and four, and her ailing 79-year-old mother. They would wash in a bucket, heat a few vegetables in the microwave, and bed down on the floor and sofa. At 7am, Ade would wake to clean the shop — her “payment” to the owner — and attempt to disinfect the boils that had appeared on her son's head. By 8.30am, before the barber opened, she and her family would have slipped out of the front door and be on their way to school.

This pitiful scene was repeated day after day despite Ade begging the social services department of her south-east London borough to house her destitute family. “There is nothing we can do — be grateful you have the hair salon,” a social worker told her.

When Ade's second eldest daughter got a chest infection, she dug her heels in and refused to leave the social worker's office until accommodation was found. “My elderly mother fell to the floor wailing and begging for mercy,” recalls Ade, “but the social worker called a policeman who handcuffed us and physically dragged us out of the building. I remember shouting: Am I a criminal to want a place for my children to sleep?'”

Last October social services were forced, under threat of human rights legal action by the charity Kids Company, to provide a home for Ade's immigrant family. The home they supplied in Croydon is a two-hour journey, via two buses and a tram, from the children's primary school in Bromley, but at least they now have a roof over their heads.

But that is just the beginning. Ade's application to the Home Office for leave to remain in the UK — having followed her husband here from Nigeria in 2003 and subsequently being beaten and abandoned by him — is still “pending”. It means that until the Home Office gets through its massive backlog, she and her children, the youngest of whom was born in London, are “without status”, neither legal nor illegal.

It also means that Ade, who is competent to work having completed two years of a computer science degree at university in Lagos, is barred from seeking employment or claiming benefits until her application is resolved. Apart from housing, she is classed as “having no recourse to public funds”.

Her children, moreover, are excluded from the 41 per cent of youngsters officially recorded as living in poverty in London because to government statisticians, illegal or “pending” immigrants like her do not count.

The London School of Economics estimates that there are 947,000 immigrants in the UK who are here illegally. Many come on six-month student or tourist visas that they over-stay — just like Ade and her husband — but most remain below the radar and end up joining the army of illegal workers propping up the economy.

Kids Company is aware of 300 immigrant families who receive no benefits and whose status has yet to be determined. It recently found one family sleeping in a shed. For many, their only means of survival is to turn to theft, drug dealing or prostitution. Ade has her own horror stories to recount, such as the landlord and immigration lawyer who demanded sex in lieu of services. She gave them short shrift. But how has she survived with no job, no benefits and no money in London?

Telling her story for the first time as part of the Evening Standard's week-long series on London's Dispossessed, Ade sits on a battered plastic sofa in her living room in Croydon.

She grew up in Lagos, the daughter of a cocoa trader, and she was still at university, she says, when her middle-class existence was shattered by a car accident that killed her father and brother. Unable to afford the fees, she got a job in a firm where she met a business administration graduate and at 29 married him, having three children in quick succession.

“In 2002, my husband lost his job and came to London,” she says. “He got work here as a concierge and a year later, I left the children with my mother and he brought me out, and I got a job, too, working as a security officer earning £700 a month. My husband told me he had permission to stay and that he was sorting my papers as well.

“We rented a flat in Elephant and Castle and in 2005 the kids joined us, followed by my mother, but instead of happiness, my husband started beating me. I discovered he was seeing other women, but when I challenged him he attacked me and threw boiling water over me. I was pregnant at the time and had to be admitted to hospital because he kicked me in the stomach and there was concern for the baby.

“The beatings became more and more frequent. In 2006, six months after our fourth child was born, neighbours heard me and the children screaming and called the police. They found me in a pool of blood but my husband had fled — it was the last time I ever saw him.” But Ade's problems were only just beginning. Keen to clarify her status, she approached her local MP Harriet Harman, who wrote to the Home Office to ask how Ade's application was progressing.

The Home Office replied that they had “no record” of her application, nor her husband's. “It was a huge shock because it meant I was here illegally. The Home Office said I should make a fresh application, but that until a decision was made, I was barred from claiming benefits or working.”

She stopped work and in early 2008 re-applied, hoping for a quick answer, but after a couple of months her money ran out and her landlord evicted them. Her one relative here, an uncle living in Bromley, took the six of them in and Ade moved the children to a local school. But eventually it became too much for her uncle's partner and she asked them to leave. For months they moved from place to place, living in squats and dingy flats.

Eventually, homeless and penniless, they wound up last year living in the hair salon. “You have no idea what it feels like,” says Ade, fighting back the tears. “You are so vulnerable, so desperate, if not for the kids you think of suicide. I had no clothes, no food. The children were amazing. They'd go to school and at night they would sit very quietly. Then one would say, we're cold mummy, we're hungry mummy'. They lost weight but hardly ever complained. If not for Kids Company and the Salvation Army, we would have starved. And we'd still be sleeping at the barber.”

Kids Company, she adds, provides her with legal aid and £50 of food vouchers and bus money a week.

Would she consider going back? “No, no, please God no— I have been here seven years and my kids are doing well at school. My eldest is top of her class and her teachers say she's one of the gifted and talented.

“There is nothing for me in Nigeria. The Home Office have promised me an answer by July. I pray for a good answer so I can finally end this nightmare. It's been two years now. Why can't they decide quickly? When I pick up the children with the other mums at the school gates, I feel like a fool in my charity clothes. I am an educated person — if I was allowed to work, I could easily support my children.”

Upstairs in her children's bedroom, there are three beds but no cupboard. Where, I wonder, are their clothes? “What clothes?” she says. “Each child has two outfits, the one they're wearing and the one in the wash.”

In four months Ade will know her fate. Until then, she's stuck in limbo.

I think we should save our time and energy in debating with these folks. They clearly have no idea about football. I mean look at the EPL every time u watch a game Andy Gray also refer to LAMPS and Gerrad as world class, however to me they do not possess the attributes of a world class player I mean look at their performances for England even at their clubs they are not dat outstanding either. Same applys to Rononey come on am not saying the guys is bad but def not as as Miro Klose. I mean MIRO ALSO CONSTANTLY DONE IT FOR CLUB AND COUNTRY. Even your so called best player in the EPL Ronaldo is performance for Portugal aren’t great either .

Views from objective fans and experts

Based on the number of times clubs have been successful in European competition, it would appear that La Liga and Serie A have the edge.
'England's top representatives have, of course, been Liverpool. I have never seen a side come out and work so hard. It’s laughable when Jose Mourinho insists they are a small club'
Football has been played in Europe for a long time - indeed, many of the top clubs boast more than 100 years of history. One wonders, though, which European league ranks best of them all.

It is unfair or even myopic to view leagues independently then go ahead and rate any one as the best. However, if the top European leagues are pitted against each other, one can claim with a level of authority which one is tops. The UEFA Champions League is now 52 years old, so let’s view the statistics which should suggest a solution to our problem. Statistics may not prove anything definitively, they do say something.

Clubs from Romania, Serbia, France and Scotland have each won the European crown once, while Portugal have taken it four times - FC Porto and Benfica both winning twice. Bayern Munich have achieved four of the six German victories while Holland have also won it six times, Ajax Amsterdam taking four of those titles. Ten victories are accredited to England, half of them collected by Liverpool, and of Italy's 11 victories, the trophy has gone to AC Milan seven times. Spain are also credited with 11 wins - nine of them, yes nine, going to the fabulous Real Madrid.

Based on these statistics, the Spanish and Italian leagues appear to be tops. Real Madrid's 1960s strike force of Ferenc Puskas and Alfredo Di Stefano was phenomenal. The '90s were quite good for Real, too, with a team sporting the likes of Raul, Fernando Hierro and Fernando Redondo a nightmare for opponents. But the Galacticos phenomenon has been Real's major undoing of late.

AC Milan and Paulo Maldini also deserve lots of respect, while England's top representatives have, of course, been Liverpool. I have never seen a side come out and work so hard. It’s laughable when Jose Mourinho insists they are a small club.

To separate Italy and Spain, we have to look at a different stage - the World Cup. Italy have been champions four times but Spain have never even been close to winning it. What a disappointment! Catennacio is the hallmark of Italian football, with gross efficacy the key word. Italians have always defined the art of defending. In the World Cup - which they won - they conceded just one goal in open play, which was in fact an own goal by Zaccardo.

Since my arguments may seem too academic, I have to concede that the most entertaining football is played in Spain. Flowing football from gifted artists resulting in the kind of intense title chase we have experienced this year. It usually goes right down to the wire.

Lastly, I pay tribute to the English. Their under-achievement on the pitch has been well documented and their lack of success is probably due to the fact that players tend to be overvalued and stuck with a 'world-class' label. But the ugly face of reality seems to pops up every time they appear in an international arena.

I REST MY CASE: The EPL is full of Rapists, hooligans like joey barton, overpriced players like darren bent and prima donnas reminds me of Hollywood

Credit where it’s due, though. England have succeeded in keeping alive the euphoria of winning the World Cup with frequent reference and highlighting - even if it was way back in 1966.

La Liga wipes the floor with the rest
Spain is far and away the best league. It's constant entertainment and there are always four or five sides competing, nopt necessarily the same sides either, each year, not counting Real and Barca of course. Granted Liverpool & Chelsea have knocked out Barca in recent seasons but the results of a knoc out competition should not dictate which league is the better. I have very seldom seen a game in La Liga that hasn't been fascinating to watch. Unfortunately in the Premiership you get so many dour encounters when one good game does come along it's lauded to the heavens and the Premsiership is regarded as the best in the World. It's not. Self praise is no praise!

La Liga is the best.
With no doubt in my mind,La Liga is the best, like you have said Shane,I have rarely watched a La Liga game and not found it enjoying. And only with La Liga, more teams are in with a chance of winning the title.Real Madrid,Barcelona,Sevilla,Real Zaragoza,Atletico Madrid all are said to really go for the title for next year, when in England, realistically Man U and Chelsea seem to be the only real contenders this coming season, depending on if Thiery Henry goes or not,and Italy have Inter,A.C and now Juventus again maybe. So due to quality of matches and enjoyment of the football played and competition for the title I think Spain is the best, with no doubt in my mind.

LA LIGA RULES!!!
I personally hate Spanish football and all it's trappings but I must admit that La Liga is by far the best league in the world at the current moment. Just look at how competitive the league race for top spot as well, the relegation battle was? With five games to go, 4 clubs had a chance to win it. And what a nail biter of a last day. With all their money and talent pool, Real Madrid and Barcelona can never take an opponent lightly, not even at home. When the champions lose 8 games in a season, I think that alone shows how competitive it is. And lets be honest, the talent pool is also very rich. I much prefer the English brand of footy but the gap between haves and have nots, is getting wider and wider. The Prem has no Getafe's ready to upset the old applecart at United or Chelski.

Well what can I say am kinda speechless
Calling the mighty Ajax Amsterdam a small club, one advise get ur facts right. Ajax is definely a bigger club than Arsenal, ManU = FU and Chelsea
Sir Alex greater than Ottmar pls give me a break. Let we ask u on what assumption. I need not need to remind u dat Ottmar has won d champions League with 2 different teams n also in terms of track record Otmar has a greater achievement to prove this. Alex has ben at manu for donkey yrs and has only managed to win D UCL once n dat was by chance. I think u need to contact ur GP.
Bayer has a better stadium and also we generate better atmosphere. Don’t let me remind of what Sir Alex said about ur so called theatre of dreams………………,
Again our clubs is better structure and hierarchy with leading figure from football and off it. We at Bayern do not rely on foreign money and sponsors
Just a comparison our major sponsor is T-mobile a german company whereas u lots have foreigner as sponsors like AIG, AUDI and so on
Checks out BBC football forum and their its even confirmed that EPL is not the best league in Europe
Calling Ajax a small club check this out
My advice do ur research first before coming with false claims

The UEFA Champion's League (formerly known as the European Cup) is the most prestigious club competition in European football. Contested annually by the top clubs in Europe it is the highest accolade in European club football.

UEFA's Badge of Honour is awarded to clubs who reach the very pinnacle of Champion's League success by either winning five European Cups in their history or three consecutively. So far only five clubs have achieved the award of the UEFA Badge of Honour and been allowed to keep the trophy.
1. Real Madrid
The undisputed kings of the European Cup, Real Madrid were the first recipients of the Badge of Honour after amassing an amazing haul of six European Cup wins in the first ten years of the trophy's existence between 1956 and 1966.

Even more amazing is the fact that they won the first five between 1956 and 1960 consecutively with the great Madrid side including Puskas and Di Stefano.

Never a club to rest on their laurels, Real Madrid have since won a further three European Cups in 1998, 2000, and 2002.

2. Ajax Amsterdam
Ajax were awarded their Badge of Honour after winning three consecutive European Cups between 1971 and 1973. Under coaches Rinus Michels and then Stefan Kovacs they perfected the style of Total Football allowing all players to fluidly fill all roles in the side whether attacking or defending. With a side brimming with world class players like Johan Cruyff and Johan Neeskens, Ajax were able to dominate both the Eredivisie and Europe during the early 1970s.

Since then they have won both the UEFA Cup and the now defunct European Cup Winners Cup making them one of only three clubs to have completed the European treble.

3. Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich picked up where Ajax Amsterdam left off in the early to mid 1970s and were awarded their Badge of Honour for three consecutive European Cup triumphs between 1974 and 1976.

Led on the field by such German luminaries of their day as Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller and Franz Roth, Bayern Munich beat Atletico Madrid, Leeds United and St. Etienne in successive years to cement German club football's superiority at the time as their national side became World Cup champions in 1974.

Bayern Munich have went on to win the European Cup again in 2001.

4. AC Milan
Particularly dominant in the late 1980s and early 1990s, AC Milan received the award of their Badge of Honour in 1994 after winning their fifth European Cup. Having won their first two European Cups in 1962 and 1969, the Rossoneri had to wait another twenty years before winning it again in 1989 under Arrigo Saachi and then retained the trophy the following year with a 1-0 win over Benfica.

The 1994 European Cup victory over Barcelona gave Milan the trophy they coveted the most after having been beaten in the previous year's final by Marseille and they have since went on to lift their sixth European Cup in 2003.

5. Liverpool
England's most successful ever club, both domestically and in a European context, took their European Cup tally to five in 2005 when they came from behind to beat AC Milan and write their name again into European football folklore.

Back to back European Cup wins in 1977 and 1978 and further victories in 1981 and 1984 had taken Liverpool perilously close to the coveted select few in the Badge of Honour club but it was Rafael Benitez's side of 2005 who finally made it to five wins.

Domestic success may have been barren in recent years but Liverpool will always have their European record to feel proud of.

@ritchboy

well mr gooner i shouldn't be arguing with an Arsenal fan for what?

I meant the EPL not the old division one

@tkb
Four strikers better than Klose?
1) Drogba…better than Klose ur right, how many goals did h score at the last world cup, I agree Klose might not have the finesse like Henry or Ronaldo at his prime bur definitely he is more prolific than Drogba. Miro Klose any day
2) Berbatov… what are his track records
3) Anelka…, more a nomad than a striker
4) Rooney…even Tevez is beta than rooney ugly bastard looks more like a pig than a striker
so come with a better argument.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Jürgen Klinsmann To Step In As Bayern Munich Coach by BWK: 3:41pm On Jan 18, 2008
@ritchboy
Because u score goals doesn’t mean u r a great player just look at Yakuba (Mr Tap in). Believe it or not berbatov wanted 2 join Bayern Munich I wish u could speak german I wud have sent an article confirming this, same applies to Hleb
U must be on drugs hleb better than Ribery
I am every objective in my analysis I do like some players in the EPL like Fabregas, gigs and ronaldo
Am not claiming dat the Bundesliga is d best league but surely superior to the EPL
And Hargraves spent most of his times with the doctor than on d pitch, so we were glad to let him go

Only 4 teams have won all the major European cups the UCL, UEFA and Cup Winners Cup and surely we are part on these great teams
Bavaria for life
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Jürgen Klinsmann To Step In As Bayern Munich Coach by BWK: 3:29pm On Jan 18, 2008
@Cougar

How is the EPL better than the Deutsche Bundesliga? I mean u haven’t come with any plausible answer………………….Imean if there are riches in ur country y wud u wanna play abroad, no in no incentive for bayern munich playerz 2 go aborad………………, i know u will now bring the Ballack issue but let me tell u Bayern made an offer 2 Ballack 2 extend is contract with a given deadline how ever then Ballack came with no answer we decided to withdraw d offer
Again each grat team goes thru a transitional period, look at Barca in the early 2000 to 2004, same applies to Real Madrid, Juventus and so on. This season is a just transitional period for us.
Look at all major leagues in Europe u can observe that there are always different teams in the champions league but in the EPL with the exception of Everton one season u have d same team in the UCL.
Pls name three defenders better or as good as Lucio
Right back better than Lahm
4 wingers in the EPL better than Ribery
4 better finishers in the EPL better than Klose

Its just like u telling me that Bentley is better than Benz, well Bentley might be more expensive but the quality is far inferior to that of Benz
Same analogy applies to the EPL and Bundesliga
Take it or leave it

@ tbk417 and other Arsenal fans
What makes a great team are qualities such as coming back from major disappointments
Well Manu snatched d UCL in 1999 from Bayern, well other team is have crumbled but we the mighty Bavarian came back and won it with style derafing u shit United home and away
@All EPL fans
Looking at the EPL well I haver 2 say dat the only big team is ManU, Le Arsenal for instance aere not in d league of ManU In England how many times has Arseanl won d league back to back………………, 0
And Chelsea just coz of 2 good season u cant call urself a great team and Liverpool yeah yeah u won d UCL 5 times but wen was d last time ur won ur league

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Jürgen Klinsmann To Step In As Bayern Munich Coach by BWK: 2:47pm On Jan 18, 2008
@dayokanu
Don’t mind these they literally have no clue
@Cougar
Come on no body gives a shit about the EPL in Europe except the English people themselves. So please keep d EPL 2 yourself. Am living in England In must confess the EPL doesn’t freak me out. Boring games, kick n rush, no tactical awareness and so on.
I dont understand y Nigerians love d EPL i thoug the colonial rule was over sad

And please stop comparing playerz like evra, clicy, Alonso, gerrad, babel, Anderson with Bayern players
Gerrad dat cant cut it on the international stage like most English playerz i mean Croatia showed them their deficits
FYI: Hleb as u guys glorify in the EPL is average. He was offered to Bayern but we rejected him not good enough for Bayer we Bayer go for players with class if we really want a player we get them, money is not an issue for us, we have our money don’t need to rely on foreign money like the entire British football. Some like berbatov was a failure in d bundesliga Bayern didn’t want him, he was offered to us and he wanted to join us be we rejected. I mean over the year which player in the EPL can compare with the likes Klinsmann, Elber, Klose, Sammer, Mathaeus, Moller, Haessler, Augehthaler, Effenberg.
Lahm is considered as the best right back in d world now u have d nerves 2 compare him with evra and sagna please

Look at this paradox Santa Cruz was not good enough for d Budesliga now in the EPL he’s regarded as one of the best strikers please give me a break
Again comparing Ferdinand with Lucio man u dey mad. Lucio one of the best defenders in the world with skills.
Nani is crap so is babel.
I must confess there r some players who I do admire in the EPL like fabregas, ronaldo, gigs andscholes, those r playerz with class
But please don’t bring rooney to the picture, u class that guy a striker please give me a break.
The EPL is full of overated and useless players
Lastly the Bundesliga is the best organized and structured league in the world that a fact ask anyone who knows about football

I rest my case!!!!![/b]

Ich bin Deutsch-Nigerianer. Ich bin in Deutschland aufgewachsden lebe aber zur Zeit in London.
Regarding what u said as a Bayern fan u have 2 count urself as unique compared 2 all thses EPL fans who have no idea of real football.
Bavarai for real
Bayern with Barca are the only football club with +100,000 registed fans and bayern has the most fanclubs in the world. Fact is that most of the EPL games are boring. the only highlight even u cant call it highlight are the games b/t the so called big 4, and those games rarely fulfill d expectations of entertainment.
Bavaria 4 Life
We at Bayern Munich don't need foreign cash injection to succeed and moreover we preserve our history
Most of the clubs in England have lost their football history and that's the most fundamental thing in football
I personally regard the EPL AS FORM OF PROSTITUTION WHEREAS THE CLUBS RUN FOR FOREIGNER WITH MONEY, THEY ARE SELLING THEIR SOULS GOD HAVE MERCY
I know most of u with come with answer like oh Bundesliga does not attract investors but that's bullshit its just coz the German Lowa does permit foreign ownership of clubs are the investors know that.
I love the Bundesliga
EPL is full of overrated and average players like Darren Bent, Adebayor, and so on
Looking at the Bayern 11 tell me which player in the EPL is better than the Bayer 11 considering their positions

Bayern München
Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Demichelis , Lahm - van Bommel , Zé Roberto - Schweinsteiger, Ribery , Toni - Klose
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Jürgen Klinsmann To Step In As Bayern Munich Coach by BWK: 11:27am On Jan 18, 2008
U guys give me jokes. Most of the football fans in 9ja are glory hunters. how could u guys classify the Bundesliga as a minor league. are u guys nut. Ihr German "Habts ihr noch alle Tassen im schrank"
we all know that in all aspects Germany is superior than England. Whether its in Football, economy, the list are endless.
Going back to Football no English team has the pedigree of Bayern Munich.
I think i am in the perfect position to judge the EPL and the Deutsche Bundesliga coz i have lived in both countries and i must confess i dont understand the force of the EPL. they play senseless football in the EPL.
