you could make some inscriptions on the Super Eagles' jersey too |
fkaz:Like seriously, you might say this is gender inequality, call it whatever, I really dont care much. I am not so in support of women being at the helms of affairs. I could only only for very few of them out there. One of them is late- Dora of blessed memory, aside, most others are inconsequential. No apology |
When Harold Ekeh was accepted into all eight Ivy League schools, he didn't boast about his amazing feat. Instead, he thanked his teachers and parents. "He came into school and the first thing he said -- rather than saying 'Can you believe it?' -- he said, 'Thank you so much. I got into all eight Ivy League schools,'" science teacher Michelle Flannory told Newsday. "And that is Harold, and that is what he is about." The Nigerian-American teen came to the United States at the age of eight. His family lives in Elmont, New York, where Ekeh attends Elmont Memorial High School. Ekeh isn't your average high school senior. He scored a 2270 on the SAT, according to Patch, and was a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search. He's editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, and vice-president of the Model United Nations. Feeling inadequate yet? Ekeh was also the homecoming king. He told Yahoo he hopes to become a neurosurgeon, a field he became interested in after his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. First, he has the pleasure of choosing between Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale. According to New York Magazine, Ekeh was also accepted to MIT, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt, and SUNY Stony Brook. Ekeh told Fox News Insider that he wrote his admissions essay about how his parents' resilience and determination to succeed in America inspired him. "You can accomplish great things if you work hard and persevere," he told Newsday. Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/04/06/teenager-8-ivies_n_7013208.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592 |
My suspicion is that the guy must have been receiving untoward support/protection by someone in the agency/government. His business wouldn't have grown into billions during Dora's led NAFDAC. Certainly, this administration must have been referring to his 'evil/killer's lab' as part of the jobs created/GDP rebase by Okonjo Iweala/ GEJ's administration. It is a pity that people no longer regard their fellow human being lives again for the sake of money. Indeed, It's a systemic failure. |

well said Falana |
Ok, noted. So, how does this stop us from voting GEJ out of power? How does it bring back the Chibok girsl? and, how does it affect the current exchange rate of the naira? You guys must start focusing on issues that can help this country. |
A deceptive look and a notorious cun-star. I wonder why he goes around from church to church, and his foot-soldiers doing the shrine tours even when it is clearly written "mene mene teke upharsin": Mr. President, your popularity is witnessing a downward slide, and your government is rented! Every cranky ploy and mercenary pre-installed/hired to manipulate this forthcoming poll in spite of the postponement shall amount to gross disgrace. I am just looking forward to that great positive change. The only option this poll presents is to click on the refresh button and let go this fedora wearing cun-star accidental president. His continuity can only spell-doom; no doubt, his emergence, administration, and cabinet are frauds. Cant stake another! Nigeria shall be great again. |
It is becoming more obvious that Fani Kayode's senility and sycophancy is incurable, does he need to tell the whole world about who the sponsors of Boko haram and their intentions to try whoever they are? Nigerians are rather interested in seeing such criminals tried in the criminal court of law, we do not need all these cheap political propaganda, not at this. This gimmick isn't working, Fani should try-out another one. |
But one wonders why the President kept bereaving his siblings in such a tragic way. I hope they aren't offered as sacrifices to achieve a political ambition. May the deceased repose in peace. |
Even the devil is against this GEJ's administration. It has been visibly written on the wall: "Mene mene tekel upharsin". |
Enoquin:Quite thoughtful of you. I've wondered myself where Daniel was while the three Hebrew brothers were daring the King's command. I wish to get a more plausible and logical explanation than Eloquin's attempt. |
the pdp wont stop at nothing |
In a sense, there is no issue preaching with only your laptop. But, in a poll, I will prefer you have the Bible (hardcopy) and probably have your notes/points in the laptop. It gives a more sense of being in a church service and not some public fora. |
Great Forumites, I will like to know how Canadian Colleges are rated, education standard and quality-wise. I supposed the qualities of the colleges would vary, subjected to the different courses they offer. I am trying to be meticulous with my choice. I am considering taking a short-term course (one year) to complement my Naija Master lapses, in the practical aspect but still, I want what would be worthwhile when I return to Nigeria. I will really appreciate your candid views especially from Afro-Canadians. Colleges considered are: Nova Scotia Community College (NSSC) New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) Thank you |
Yungwizzzy: Bro, are you talking of the same tablet that has over 200 bluefilms??In my own opinion, or let me say in addition to your view, using a Tablet in the Church makes you very susceptible to accessing some other irrelevant things while you are in the house of God, where your full concentration is needed before God. You may wonder what kind of distractions, I meant text messages, E-mails, "possibly missed calls", and some other books. But truely, how disciplined you are is only put to test, otherwise, I see no problem with it. The Devil is so cunning though. |
global07: I would like to ask a simple question. The fact is, most of these destitutes are not Lagos indigenes, and if by any means, they are from Lagos, that's no brainer for you, of course, they remain in Lagos while the Government finds a solution. I hope that answers your curiosity. |
Misquoted and outrageously misleading topic! |
