No, it doesn't require internet at all. Just double click on your APK file and bluestacks will open it up. But there's a mini shortcut to Google play store, if u've an active internet connection u can download more from Google play via Bluestack.

Not all of their phones, the root method i posted above is able to root most of them though.

There are several methods and exploit that can be use to root Android phones, but Samsung phones were considered one of the device that are easier to root. Samsung owns much of the population of Android phones that has ever been produced, and they are well known of producing several variants from one single model of any phones they make, thereby making it a bit difficult to find one-click root method that works for all their phones.

Spirit FM is a real, tuned over-the-air FM radio app that doesn't require internet access, it's an app developed my Mike Reidand and works with many android devices. The app works both on rooted and non rooted Android phones and your device doesn't need to have pre-installed FM radio before it can work. On most devices that doesn't support or have FM radio, you can use this app to gain access and unlock FM radio on your phone. Though, on some old model of samsung, htc and motorola you'll need to have root before it can work.

Spirit FM 2 was recently released which works seamlessly with HTC One (M8), The interface is easy to understand, there are lot of tweaks this app offer, you can record while listening to a program in any format, the recordings is stored in your Memory card. It has RDS, AF (auto frequency), visualizer and a widget which you can place on your homescreen.

PS: I had my phone rooted before with custom rom,just wanted to prove the hypothesis n it worked...

Alright, i guess that must have been one of the old methods...the method i posted above was recently released and it has been proved and tested to work on ALMOST ALL XPERIA Device.

Though you'll need a pc to do it. The link to the source is also on the page if anyone doubt it.
