After he realized in the hospital her intentions, he should have immediately stepped in to protect the child from the woman and maybe see to it that she was institutionalized or at least deprived of access to the child. Why tell us sob stories when it is both the man and woman who failed the child? Assuming the child did indeed die as a result of parental neglect, I hope both of them will spend at least 10 years each in jail for letting that child die. 😒😒
