First of all. It's not right to tell me people they will enter hell fire if they do this or that. And Ur proof is baseless. Yes Allah threatened us with it and the Prophet also did. Pls point out a proof where the Allah approved it for us. Trying to compare us with the Prophet is قياس مع الفارق. And come to thing of it, there's a difference between telling people that you will definitely enter he'll if u commit this offense, and reminding people that Allah has created hell to treat with equality His sinners and paradise to compensate His followers. If my memory doesn't fail me there are even hadiths that preach against it. Bottom line is that. U didn't create this hellfire, u don't have to say with all certainty that I will enter hell because I committed a crime, simply call me a sinner, that's all. If one isn't careful self with all these kinda one might attain Allah's anger.(ask me how, don't quote me anyhow).
2. U see urself.. U said kneeling down is Haram but u don't see it as shirk those that call it Haram - with proofs- tag it shirk too. Bring Ur proofs for not tagging it as shirk. My observation here is that u are trying to balance BTW the proofs of those that see it as haram and those that see nothing bad in it cause they see it as a culture that's not against the fundamentals of Islam, alongside their many other strong proofs. If u want to balance BTW these two, then tag it as مكروه تنزيها عند الأحناف ومكروه عند الجمهور.

First of all check the way I spelt" tasawwuf" in the text u quoted. The first ones were simply unintended errors. That's not all that correct, Ahl sunnah wal jamaa'ah are people who follow the understanding of the sahabas(companions of the prophet) in everything they do with regards the deen, why? Because the prophet specially said, the ones with the correct methodology are those who are upon what him and his companions were upon and this is the jamaa'ah...



I can't defend everybody on issue of being "purest" but many of these brothers that do dawah don't do it for that sake, but to please Allaah, and you don't know their intent so its best you don't suspect, "beware of suspicion for suspicion is the highest degree of falsehood" ~ Muhammad..

And as for threatening, Allaah threatened us with fire in many places in the Qur'an, the messengers are called WARNERS AND GLAD TIDINGS GIVERS in the Qur'an, so that's non-issue




Kneeling down is haraam, being shirk is subject to further discussion since scholars differ on it, but the superior opinion with me is it's not shirk, but its haraam, kneeling down being haraam has lots of evidences do you want them?



Can't defend them either, IF your look is not islamical then I can't blame them, they might not recognize you to be a Muslim...

AhluSunnah Wal Jamaaha are those who follow the companions? Dude u are so wrong. Using Ur ideology, where did u put those after the companions and those after them too? Even after the Prophet stated that in his words? Assuming the AhluSunnah Wal Jamaaha are those who follow d companions only, if the kinda following u meant is 100% following, then We should be practicing Islam the way they jus did it, all these Islamic fields of knowledge wouldn't have reached us if we did, but If u intend following them and following the Quran and hadith, then u are right,because Allah has perfected the roots of this peaceful religion through Quran and hadith, it's up to us learn their meaning and not preach the rigid Islam u want to sell to us. In short, AhluSunnah way Jamaaha are those adhering to the teachings of Quran and Hadiths(that includes d sahabah, doz after them, doz after them, and every righteous Muslim following the instructions of the Holy book and hadith.

Tassawuff is all bout practicing Islam and living by its rules. When u practice tassawuff(islam) to some level, u will desire nothing but Allah's love, His company all the time.. U would know the true meaning kalimatu shahadah, u would appreciate it Prophet the more, it's about stages... Suffism isn't bout wearing white garments, putting tesbih on ur necks, doing mawlids up and down(except for Rasulullah with its conditions). And it's not bout anfas and useless things the new generation of suffism portray as the main values of suffism. It's bout purifying Ur soul by remembering Allah always,doing azkaar always, upholding the Islamic rulings. Believe me if have walked that path before u would appreciate d religion Allah has perfected on us.. Islam is bout light.. Nothing but light.. Lol did I just read this beautiful nonsense funny how OP tried so hard to make it look like there aren't much suffi scholars in Ilorin. Assuming d rate of suffism has reduced in the city, believe me it's not because of the reason u are thinking, it's not because people are accepting the wahhabiyat way. It's actually because Muslims and Muslim scholars are now deviating from Islam as whole by their acts. U see d first son of a when known scholar in club, clubbing his life away, banging almost the female Muslims that go to mosque or madradat. Pls tell me how that one will rightfully inherit his father's place. Most of them are like that.
And as for the recent mawlid of shaikh Ibrahim Anyas, a very moderate suffi will condemn it for the obvious reasons. You see the way u twisted the reason why Ilorin was chosen, we both know Ilorin has it historical connection with suffi, doing this in Ilorin is simply an act to "continue what our suffi fathers started".
Statistics of people residing in Ilorin: 20% are Christians(and they increasingly growing in numbers) 10% are Atheists and traditionists, 70% are Muslims(20% don't even know what Islam is all about-muslims by name- 20% are the average Muslims whose lifes are suffi inspired 20% are Muslim scholars whose life's are suffi themed, the salafiyysh hold the 5% while the remaining 5% are people accepting salafiyysh) this statistics is just to being what the Ilorin society looks like to Ur reasoning, d no. Might not be correct.
