If you want me to display the information then I will need your permission, though the car is not bad and NO impact damage on the body rather rear fender damage.

Do you know that the VIN was intensionally Peel to make incomplete and bar code Peel too. Importer way of hiding real information away from buyer. Your presented VIN is incomplete and assumption will not lead to solve our problem.

It was discovered that crank shaft sprocket teeth got broken in 2 place. It was replaced with too part and timing set again.

You need to verify if timing is off. To resolve a problem in vehicle many suspected parts need to be verify. In your case, I had similar issue in the past.

Thank you for your contributions. I have made enquiries as regards technical support, I’m told parts can be gotten at Ojuelegba and ladipo. Bear in mind car will be within Abeokuta and Lagos so I’m close to source of parts and support.

As regards the matrix you saw, I will be interested, kindly share details of model year and price. Please I don’t want a car more than two years used in the country. It also has to be accident free…. Thanks

That might be your source of problem. Is like timing is gradually going off mark.

Hello everyone, Car section has been a place of great knowledge for me over the years which is why I’m seeking your opinions on this step I’m about to take.

I have been on the lookout for a fuel efficient car and after so many months of searching for a Toyota matrix, Honda civic and Hyundai Elantra, I was not able to see any that meets my criteria of sound engine, clean first body and perfect gear second hand.

I finally saw a 2015 ford focus that ticks all the boxes, car is as good as brand new. I have inspected the car and all components are in perfect condition including the dreaded DCT gear that has lots of complaints.

I am contemplating paying for it already but thought to seek opinions before going ahead. I need your advice please, is 2015 ford focus a good buy?

Pls sir,avoid it for now. I am not saying it is not a good vehicle but in term of technical support from our local mechanics is scarce.
For that toyota matrix, there is one I saw that look sound and I can check for you if you have interest

Prior to that I noticed that my car had poor acceleration especially when I turned on the AC. Along the line it started burning my AC compressor. How do come to conclusion that the engine compression is low with out test result.

Based on your complain above and scan results, there is problem within the timing system. If you have sound technical mechanic, proper check need to be carry out on engine.

RAV-4 will be my choice. The one with most recent year should be the better, in this case 1x35, but Hyunda part with that model year will be too cost and lack of mechanics for repair is another issue. So choose RAV-4.

I plan to install additional transmission cooler for my ride. It is a very cheap piece but it can extend the life of the transmission by ensuring it runs at cooler temperature range which is usually between 195 degrees Fahrenheit to 210 degrees Fahrenheit.

Since I just recently changed the transmission fluid and the cooler installation requires transmission fluid replacement, I'll wait for another 4k miles before carrying this out.

I suggested this to you sometime ago when you had issue of transmission temperature high during your journey outside your base.

If fuel is put in d manifold it starts immediately

Your fuel delivery system is faulty ie one part failed. Check fuel pressure, nozzle may not open due to electrical fault. ETC.

First check your oxygen sensor heater status if okay, then proceed to check voltage reading when engine is in operation under close loop. If reading are perfect, suspect your vehicle wiring from the sensor to the ECU. There might be some point without good electrical contact.

That is my take.

It is not like you think. Some require experience or technical knowledge, to use device to analyse for judgement of the engine conditions

I bought two vehicle from JIji, while third one was rejected because it doesn't meet up my expectations but I spoke with the real owner, and both vehicle purchased are very clean deal . I only make sure area choose is well know state or community. Also make sure due check to deal directly with owner, and verify documents before you drop money which must be the owner account as show in the documents

If you have the technical eyes, you will see the sign that it was work on in nigeria or oversee by non sound expert

That vehicle may look not common, and it was due high rise in cost of vehicle in Nigeria. Let me tell you, the vehicle is great and easy to maintain. No much complex module rather basic. That K24 engine was already in use since 2002 and review shown that it performance was great, though they were not the same, just with little variation due area of application.

If you want other suggestion, then you will need to state you features that you want in vehcle, so as to state other option.

Hi everyone, I have a 2015 Mercedes ML350. The car was working normally, then last night it just wouldn't engage gear, it just revved, called the mechanic and he came and said the sump seal was bad. We fixed the leakage, called someone to reset the EGS.

But here's the issue:
The car still wouldn't move unless the mechanic uses his scanner to force it by probably bypassing the EGS or something.

The error code is "UD426"

The mechanic is saying I need to replace the entire EGS but I don't trust his judgement

Anyone here dealt with this before?
Looking for someone who understands how to do the proper TCU or transmission adaptation on these Mercedes models.

OP, just stick to the non turbo 2.0L engine. It is because of availability of personel with the right knowledge to troubleshoot when issue start pop up.
