Hello everyone, Car section has been a place of great knowledge for me over the years which is why I’m seeking your opinions on this step I’m about to take.

I have been on the lookout for a fuel efficient car and after so many months of searching for a Toyota matrix, Honda civic and Hyundai Elantra, I was not able to see any that meets my criteria of sound engine, clean first body and perfect gear second hand.

I finally saw a 2015 ford focus that ticks all the boxes, car is as good as brand new. I have inspected the car and all components are in perfect condition including the dreaded DCT gear that has lots of complaints.

I am contemplating paying for it already but thought to seek opinions before going ahead. I need your advice please, is 2015 ford focus a good buy?

Good morning everyone, I scanned my 2009 Honda Accord EX 2.4L K24Z3 engine with an OBDII... These are the results. Prior to that I noticed that my car had poor acceleration especially when I turned on the AC. Along the line it started burning my AC compressor. I got tired and decided to forget about the AC, but now I want to fix the AC coz of the dry season. Now I noticed my car consumes fuel, and also has low compression. Please guys what can I do to fix these problems

I plan to install additional transmission cooler for my ride. It is a very cheap piece but it can extend the life of the transmission by ensuring it runs at cooler temperature range which is usually between 195 degrees Fahrenheit to 210 degrees Fahrenheit.

Since I just recently changed the transmission fluid and the cooler installation requires transmission fluid replacement, I'll wait for another 4k miles before carrying this out.

Hi everyone, I have a 2015 Mercedes ML350. The car was working normally, then last night it just wouldn't engage gear, it just revved, called the mechanic and he came and said the sump seal was bad. We fixed the leakage, called someone to reset the EGS.

But here's the issue:
The car still wouldn't move unless the mechanic uses his scanner to force it by probably bypassing the EGS or something.

The error code is "UD426"

The mechanic is saying I need to replace the entire EGS but I don't trust his judgement

Anyone here dealt with this before?
Looking for someone who understands how to do the proper TCU or transmission adaptation on these Mercedes models.

Hello, please, my VW Golf 4, Mode 2007 with VIN: 9BWEL2IJ374010871, has a gear problem. It is not able to be select/transmit properly with ppor acelaration, and the initial scan pointed to solenoid problems, which was changed, but the problem persisted.
I changed to a new Belgium gearbox twice, yet the same selenoid problem persisted at each attempt.
Further assessment by an electrician revealed it might be a gear brainbox problem. I have been faced with the challenge of getting a brainbox that will match the car/gearbox. Each brainbox tasted so far revealed different selenoids, 3, 4, and 7 open circuits when scanned. For example, the last brainbox used showed selenoid 7 open-circuit.
My original brainbox part number is 01 M927 733 MR.
Kindly help me with the brainbox code to match the new Belgium gearbox.
