Continue to charge it and if it charge full, then use battery to start the vehicle. Ensure you run engine on idle for like 30min, then switch off and start vehicle again. If battery still continue to start vehicle successfully, then remove negative terminal over night and put back the following day to start, if it start then some device in vehicle is draining your battery and you do the needful.

Kindly inform your friend that the consequence of tap welding of chain adjuster may lead to another problem as time move on and the cost will weigh more on your friend.

I was not condemning your comment, rather talking against reason for that high price. Most of those seller also repair damage fan and resell as high as you quoted.

15 to 20k toks for only the fan but if you are buying together with d brackets it more than that

20K for fan that most damage part is carbon brush, which will not be more that 2K for cost of carbon brush.

If you experienced hard starting, ECU is not likely to be the cause. Hard starting mostly cause by gradual off of timing chain from normal setting or improper installation. Let a competent mechanic investigate the root cause, but I doubt if it is from ECU

I'm having the same issue. My Stft is almost at 30 while on idle. I get very bad gas milage mostly below 10mpg.
Car is an 06 Acura tsx. It has the same engine as the Honda accord 06.

I got a p2195 code once but it has never occured after that

There is unmeter air intake, ie leak somewhere. Work on it and get improvements

thanks for the feedback.

Rewire made mention of this green key symbol on the dashboard not suppose to be blinking.. He said it's the reason car wound not start.

Note. Whenever I slid the car key and turn ignition, the green key symbol keeps blinking.

If you are sure of the bolded event, then that is your problem, Immobilizer problem, which means your key and immobilizer module are not communicating due to either faulty module or No power supply( fuse blown) to the module. Also the key transponder chip may be damage by someone.
To know confirm which of key or immobilizer module is the problem, use your spare key to start the vehicle. If spare key start, then key is damage but if not, immobilizer fuse might be the problem or it is faulty or damage.

This should not be problem to trace. Just find Mechanic to trace which area is the problem. Area to check are ignition system, Fuel delivery system and Timing Sequence. The first to may fail due electrical reason which may be cause by rewire. Just investigate.

Car was healthy prior to that day about 2 weeks back.

I was just going from point A to point B and unexpectedly car stopped on the road.

I met a rewire on the same road who did all he could, car will not start and only crank. He claimed fuel pump is faulty, he changed with his yet, no starting.

The next day, I called another rewire from ladipo and after checking, he told me my brain box is gone.

I was bewildered, the battery charger helping me told me it was the yesterday's rewire who tampered with some of the wires to make the situation worse.

The thing go far in my opinion. And I've been really stressed.

What is your vehicle name and model year?

What happen of your own ECU, because it control many operations. What part of operation that fail to happen will determine what cause the failure.

the vehicle badge at the driver side, based of the driver side windshield and inside the engine (shift a plastic rubber and u will see the VIN engraved on the body of the car) corresponds with my papers. just the OBD scanner that is displaying another VIN for me

Based on the infomation provided, it means that at a particular time, your ECU aka was replaced which had the VIN number of donor vehicle. To me, it either you rewrite your own in the ECU or continue to use since performance is not depend on Vin info inside ECU.

It is Cargo. This mean tyre is specially design for vehicle with cargo. I have 4 installed on my vehicle and old tyre bought new with over 4 years as extra. Do you know that over a year now, am yet to change tyre and the vehicle already done 2 trip of over 600km. Just have a trial.

My initial plan was to buy 2 brand new tires for my car, but the review I am getting online regarding these Chinese tyres aren't encouraging. I am considering buying a well graded Tokunbo tyres, was told some can last even more than these so called brand new Chinese tyres.Brands like Bridgestone Michelin, Kuhmo, Dunlop are way out of the reach of the common man. I was given 35k each for a good Tokunbo (205/65/R15) I have not decided yet but I have between now and month end to make that decision.Btw the way I was asked to come and pay 50k for a brand new tyre (either Joyroad or Arivo) my worry now is there are not brands I am familiar with considering the fact that they are Chinese tyres, but I wouldn't mind a review from those that have used them. I have between now and month end to decide whether to buy a brand new Chinese tyre or to settle for a very good Tokunbo tyres with the expiry date still intact and hasn't been tampered with.

My OGA, let me help you make your best decision,. Before that, be aware that there are many reasons for chicken owner decided to sell spent Layer bird that was producing money at useful stage of their life.
Based on my experience, used tyre can't give you value of money except you just want to use it for short period. Also there are many sub-standard tyre in market and our government or corruption failed us to root them out before reaching market.
Now for the best answer, buy tyre brand that is not much know to consumers, you get good value for your money. Finally don't buy ordinary rather select C category, though the price is more than ordinary and you rest assure that it last you 6 years for use within city and 4 years or for inter state journey for private use. I recommend 205, 70 R15C or 195, 70 R15C.
If you choose15C tyre, you will never regret buying new tyre again. For the price early this year, I bought 215, 70 R15C at 80K naira, so the current now is what am yet to know, and not bother because my next time for tyre purchase is 2019.

I got a renowned Nissan rewire to work on it ,he said it the Brainbox,which I gave him money to get another one,yet the brainbox didn't work with it properly,so I gave up but the most unfortunate part was after 2 weeks of selling it to Owode Onirin,I saw the car parked on a car stand for sale at Owode Onirin,meaning the Owode Onirin people have fixed the issue, because the car is very clean,so it was not butchered.

Sorry for the lost. I told you that it is a simple fix. Move on and learn from the situation.

Op, looking at the listed vehicle, it means you are doing fine now and likely to maintain that status, or even improve in the next years ahead. My choice considering family, availability of part, availability of mechanics and re-sale value with time buy HONDA CRV 2013 OR 2014 EXL with K24 or Earth dream engine couple with Non CVT automatic transmission.
Research more about this model and you are not going to regret now or in future.

If you can afford 40Million naira as of nigeria in renew hope today, then you can buy and use it. Just know there are other fee from LG, state and FG that requre periodic paper collection. I also believe cost of fuel should not be problem to you depending on work it will doing in your business. Good luck as you acquire the HiLux

Based on VIN, the following ECU is compatible with your model
1) 89661 06A00 ✔
2) 89666 06510 ✔
3) 89661 06A20

Those marked are show in picture attached. Anyone listed above will work for your Camry 2003-2004 model provided the ECU is perfectly functioning well, because it is not NEW.
Good Lucky in your search with information given. Ensure you negotiate well and tell the seller that if it doesn't work well it will be return because a good ECU was used before you decided to buy it, and remember it is toyota part which always come cost, but I believed it will not be up to 90K.

My electrician removed my car brain box and tried it in another car and same thing happened. That’s why he concluded that is the brain box. But I will ask him to check the O-ring you mentioned.

If the electrician did what you stated above, then fo for replacement but buy it in your local part seller as advice. I can give support to cross check if the available ECU will be compatible and work with your vehicle
