I will try to be simple, and straight to the point. Batch B, Stream 2 corp members passed out from camp last Monday December 14, 2015. However, in their posting letters, they will finish service by September 27,2015. Their date of registraton was set at 27 October 2015 Stream A corp member left camp a month or so before them, yet they will finish on the same date. This leads me to ask these pertinent questions. 1. NYSC is a one year program. Why the cut to 10 months (for stream B) and 11 months (for stream A)? 2. And more importantly, it is clear that stream A will lose 1 month federal allowance and stream B will forgo 2 months of theirs. Into whose coffers are the monies going into? It is not the fault of any corp member that their service year was cut short. The money has been allocated. Hence they deserve full payment. Anything short of this is diversion of funds, corruption. Do the imaginary maths to drive home the point: (N19800 x 2 months x Number of Batch B stream B) + (N19800 x 1 month x Number of stream A corpers) Let voices be raised now when it is still young. At least let NYSC know that we are not turning a blind eye to their whims!! Cc: Lalasticlala, Seun, Crazyman, yokiti |

The UEFA Champions League draw is about starting for theknockout stage. It will be exciting to see which team each gets. What is your prediction? And fans, which team do you want to get? |
Sweetest/ best goal today. Reminds me of Finidi George in his days |
Love Machine:Fact. No kobo has been returned. This govt. takes us all for fools. 'will name them later so as not to make them stop returning their money:. Does this make sense? If they will still be named, what is d essence of enticing them to return their loot? Fact is, nobody has returned kobo |
2rutalk1:Thought i was the only person that saw the irony in the comment. So if know i will be named, why bother return the stolen funds? There is no logic in it. Thus it is still propaganda that we are fed with. Wonder when it will stop |
Abagworo:You are trying to defend your pay. I am not paid to say the truth. Imo is in tatters |
naijapips02:For starters; Health workers- 11 months. I have a health worker so i know this fact. 2. Agric sector: cannot put an actual figure to it. Last i spoke to someone in the agric sector, (Songhai, et al) they were owed about 3 months, and he was set to pay them half. Gave them a bounced cheque though. Lol! |
REMEMBER WHAT I PREDICTED? keandre:keandre: lai lai, man city are local champions Lol!! They will surprise you. City will top Group D |
Put simply, Mancity fans have a distrust of UEFA for a variety of understandable reasons. It means the Champions League simply isn’t held in anywhere near the same esteem as the domestic title, the trophy they dreamed of winning for so long. 1. Most prominent on their list of complaints is financial fair play, a set of regulations introduced by UEFA that has been viewed in the stands at the Etihad as designed exclusively to damage their club. It protects the established elite and has penalised City for investment, even though Mansour has taken them out of debt and, as of this season, made them profitable. If FFP was about financial security, City would pass any tests with flying colours. The net-spend limit imposed on the club last summer hurt them. The fine seemed absurd. The fact the regulations have since been watered down is a sign to some Blues supporters they weren’t fair in the first place. 2. What’s more, back in 2011, during a Europa League tie, Porto fans racially abused Mario Balotelli in a game at the Estadio do Dragao. They were found guilty by UEFA and fined 20,000 euros, a pitiful sum that suggested kicking racism out of the game wasn’t exactly a priority. A few weeks later, in a game against Sporting Clube de Portugal at the Etihad, City came back from the half-time break later than allowed. Their punishment of 30,000 euros exceeded Porto’s and left the City fans scratching their heads. How on earth can such a discrepancy be justified? 3. Then came last season’s farcical events in Moscow. The fans of CSKA, who were drawn in the same group as City for the second consecutive year, were found guilty of racism. They were ordered to play their home fixture with City behind closed doors. Hundreds of City fans had already booked travel and were out of pocket when they were told they would not be allowed in, but further insult was added when around 650 CSKA fans found a way inside the stadium on corporate tickets. This, for the City fans, was the final straw. They now boo the UEFA anthem before each game in protest at what they see as unfair treatment. Perhaps today's win and topping the group , which was exhilarating and a long overdue performance in Europe's elite club competition, will ignite some passion in the stands.

Abagworo:I have no business in the latter part of your comment as it spoke of a core partisan reply. However for the above you mentioned, I wish you the development and prosperity that you say is evident in Imo State. May your life be ruled in its entirety as Rochas is ruling Imo State. Is that o.k. by you? |
Abagworo:You again ![]() ? You just don't get it, do you? People who live in Owerri are all complaining. You don't live in owerri. So how can you objectively say Owerri is ok from PH when Imolites say it is not? |
Abagworo:I don't usually comment on matters like this but i can't help but slam your reply. Your attitude is not helping, will not help. You are just being partisan to the letter. Leave that please. Imo State is dead. Owerri is the Capital city. Have you taken a holistic look at it? Can you pick out five persons that are comfortable with the state of affairs in Imo State? Nobody is even agreeing now that he voted Rochas into government. I can go on and on. You don't live here? By the way, which part of Imo State did you visit and how long did you stay? |
This one is strong! Please watch your anus oooo!! No liquid, solid, or gaseous emission is allowed |
aloeman15:Thanks. You are right. That is why i want NBS to provide the unemployment rate in this quarter. Notice also that the employment is in the agric.sector. So we are dealing with subsistence agric which cannot be captured in the GDP. |
The economic implications of this report are: 1. Their employment is subsistence in nature. Hence it cannot be captured in the GDP of the country. 2. It is mainly agro-related, elnding credence to the subsistence nature of the employment 3. The NBS should capture the UNEMPLOYMENT rate in the quarter vis-a-vis this data. Cos what it portends is that many people that have lost their jobs in the cities go back home to eke out a living in agriculture. This is not a good news. |
The north, should in strong terms condemn BH. Just that we are always afraid of telling ourselves the truth. The NA complained months ago that they were not having any weapons for the fight against BH. The presidency has not imported new weapons. So what have they been using since then? Moreso, this BH menace is political as it is religious. |
Lalatsicala. No sleeping on duty |
MOD have you slept? It is 4:0 now. Yaya Toure (Pen). |
emmaak2:I am sorry to disappoint you, but the status quo is that police is NOT your friend. I have had many personal experiences with the police and they have never been ok. The average policeman thinks about his pocket before he considers what is right or wrong. Let him report this matter to the police and watch how much he will lose. I reported a case of a landlord who took a year's rent from me and rented the flat out to another person. Just to arrest him, the police were demanding about 35% of the money from me. This is just one experience. POLICE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND |
emmaak2:Police is NOT your friend |
In all honesty, i wish Arsenal will win tonight. But even the die-hard gunner has an inner dread of tonight's match. What do i expect? It is like Arsenal crossing this bridge;

Except for this attempt, we have been very poor in play |
mta003:Where is alcohol usage, not drunkenness, condemned in the bible? And can you define WINE as set forth in the bible? |
ujoatu:Do you live in Imo State? Can you describe the quality of education in the state's public schools? Sing your praises to the ignorant please. |
Eric dier makes it square |
Mukina2 and ishilove, so Mancity game no reach Front page abi? Wait till May next year |
De Bruyne scores for City @ 25 minutes. What a buy!!! |
keandre:Yes oooo. Don't know why the choice of the lineup.why Callebero instead of Hart. And the trio of Fernando, Fernandinho and Yaya. |
The Saints host the Citizens in week 7's early kickoff. It promises to be exciting. City will be without Silva, Mangala, Iheanacho and some other key players. However, Kompany, Nasri and Zabaleta are back for selection. Will Aguero fire City to victory? Will Kane find his long lost footing? Will new signings Sterling and De Bruyne give City the awaited victory? What is your prediction? |
