Is Waec office near you? Go there to find the venue nearest to you. Or ask teachers around you. The Best!

Not necessary. Once the venue is ascertained, go there on friday.

The script fee is just an aspect of the payment package. They pay for attendance, lump sum and then script. English commands higher script fee. U can get at least 15k

It is no problem. Checkers verify that the marks given in the scripts are correctly added up and recorded.

they get your details upon giving you a pack. Then with time and consistency, you can qualify as a regular examiner. Anyway, when you go, collect an examiner's form from them and fill it.

I understand. Especially for gatecrashers when they are many. But they can try. I am sure they can be considered if the DEGREE holders are few or if they can smile at the 'chief'. Lol

Scripts are given pout after coordination which takes 2-3 days. But if you did not coordinate from Friday, it is near impossible to get a pack.]

I will be going back next week and by then all scripts wld have been distributed and dia is no way I can still take here cos I won't be able to finish it before travellig back...am a gate crasher though

Find out if they are coordinating in your area. Then go. Make it known you have a previous marking experience. You will likely be considered

Very stressful! Back in the days, i remembered helping my Dad out with recording of marks for Mathematics scripts. M1 A1 B4, B3 ...........its time consuming

Well, it is your choice. Nothing good comes easy. Free 10k for a week's time is not a bad deal

HND, OND and NCE are not allowed to mark they can only apply for checkers...only BSc graduates are allowed to mark.

Not really. HND students can mark. In my centre, there are HND examiners, though there is a wide preference for Degree over HND certificates

Go with your claim forms to your area of PA. You can get a pack easily with that evidence of marking.

In addition to what Missindependent has written, whether you succeed or not, get an Examiner's form from them, fill it and submit. It is a way of putting yourself in line for being invited in the future, all things being equal

Op, I was equally invited for the e-marking which is starting on the 17th. Really don't know maybe the money involved is more or less than the Pen marking.

E marking has not fully taken shape nationwide. I guess it is a pilot test at the moment. Dunno about the payment for it

Owerri has two centres: Government College Owerri and GTC/or Emmanuel College. Check them up

Just go with your STATEMENT OF RESULT. It wiill suffice.

Wish i can help with all the venues. But i know that if you ask around, you will find it. Better still, check the WAEC office in your locality. They can sure help.

I marked Waec and Neco scripts last year as a corper I gatecrashed then I wish I can also participate in this year's marking but I dunno how I'm going to combine it with my job cos I get home late after work(Lagos Traffic things). My friends said they are interested in marking someone should please list the Lagos marking centres here the only ones I know of for now from the invites so far is Ilupeju and Agege.
Last year I marked 325 Waec scripts and I was paid #12,500 after two weeks, Neco paid me #15k for 347 scripts after 1 week small money you may think but when you get alert, you go shout Godwin

Check your area. Where is the marking venue? In Owerri, for example, there are two venues. Check the one where your subject area is being marked. Then go with your credentials. It is quite simple
