So far, Rwanda, WITH ITS OPEN DOOR POLICY, happens to offer the easiest integration required to get the needed approval for 3rd country applications. That is if people like you dont come here with your "LEARNER" kind of stuffs.
The reasons are obvious: Documentations from Nigeria are not verifiable. No database for prompt and easy verification by 3rd parties. For rentals the best option that have worked for me personally is Samtrygg. Blocket is another option, but i have not personally closed any rental deals through them. Also beware of rentl deals that DO NOT ASK for social security number. They usually come cheap & easy. But with Samtrygg, not possible for horse play.

Yeah jobs doesnt come easy these days given the implementation of the new work permit requirements (Salary thresholds), especially when you need the employer to file for work permit. But your Eu Status should give you a leeaway though. Employers are reluntant at employing since they have to cough out more payments.
But you can try using EURES platform from the Eu country you currently reside or maybe participating in IT Fair & programs littered all over Eu countries.

Asylum is the wrongest way to live in Europe. The moment you start living on freebies, then you will become lazy and will not amount to any useful thing in the future. Those with asylum documentation never get job opportunities and even grants that occasionally fret to individuals.
European social system is built on a welfare-contributory structure aka tax. The moment you live there and do not pay tax, forget it. Just a matter of time before the system swallows you up!

What can i do, or how can i stay in Sweden if i no longer meet the work permit threshold?

The new salary threshold means that a lot of people in Sweden on work permit are no longer qualified under the new rules. What other permits are there for people who want to stay in the country?

1. You can get Residence permit to move with or stay with a family member. This could be a Swede or an immigrant. Not mandatory they have to be a Swede, but they must have permanent or temporary residence. All they have to prove is that they can support you by having accommodation and large enough salary. In some cases (exception), large sums of money in situations where their salary can not, or is not large enough to support another person. This is the case regardless of any income or asset you as the permit applicant have. SO best you transfer such assets to the principal. For more details visit the Swedish migration agency website.

2. If your current employer will not be able to offer you a salary above this threshold, you may be lucky to find another employer. This is where our Advisory network comes into play.

3. If you are already in Sweden, then you can enroll to any Institution of learning and use this option to obtain a permit to continue living in Sweden. A lot of people might have this as a last option to stay in Sweden. Mind you there are deadlines for applying.

*NOTE.
A lot of Staffing/recruitment agencies in Sweden can still help out by recommending or actually seconding job seekers to Companies who are willing to pay the salaries according to the new rules. However, i give kudos to the Swedish Migration Agency for prior notifications since early this year. What any smart person could have done before now was to get a commitment from their respective employers if they would pay according to the new rules, otherwise they could have resign and start their job search early enough. Positive, then you have no worries. Negative, then you could have before now start reaching out to contacts especially Calm Travels for connections to MDs, prospective job openings and people with capacity to employ. In Sweden, as well as most developed countries, they dont take people by surprise, hence they inform before hand. Most of the people we actually focused on were those who earlier enough signed up to our Migration Advisory service.

However, Maybe, just maybe we could still help. But this is no guarantee as most companies are already rounding up for the year. But what better option than starting early so that by January, when work resume, you should have a Decision ready for you!

What you should do?

White collar: Degree + IT skills and experiences.

It seems like many Africans are wildly, unrealistically optimistic about the chances of finding a job in Europe. If you have a university education and a few years of experience, sure. If you have vocational training and speak the language, it’s going to be very difficult but possible. If you have none of this, you will not get a job. Not now and not ever. There are no unskilled jobs left in a modern European economy, except for a handful, where you are competing with hundreds or thousands of people who 1) speak the language and 2) don’t require any paperwork to hire. If you come here illegally, it is also illegal to hire you, which means only criminals will hire you. And they will not pay you; in fact, you’ll be lucky to get away with your life.

If you want to come here, make sure you’ve got a signed contract of employment before you go. That’s the only way. If you come here with nothing but hope, good intentions, and ambition, your new life will be no better than your old one, and your friends and family will be on a different continent.

And one thing you should absolutely not do is to go into debt to come here. You will not be able to pay it off.

If you are a bona fide refugee, it’s different. But then, in your shoes, I’d just go to the nearest border, or buy a plane ticket to whatever destination I could afford, and sort everything else out later.

You get on the bus. Since there are two empty seats together left on the bus, you take one of them. The window seat. Sitting next to someone else in that situation would be weird. Sitting in the aisle seat, or with your bag on the seat next to you would be rude.

Next stop, some people get on. All the window seats are taken, so the new passengers start sitting next to the old ones. Much care is taken not to disturb others. No speaking, no touching and very little eye contact. A lady strikes up a conversation anyway, and her co-rider responds in a friendly fashion, she’s probably lonely after all, the old dear.

The person next to you, however, is busy with a book, coat neatly tucked in so that it doesn’t encroach on your space.

The next stop is yours, and you’re going to need to get past the person next to you in order to get off.

You toy, briefly, with the idea of saying “excuse me” but dismiss it as too aggressive. After all, they’re innocently minding their own business.

So you put away your phone. Usually this is enough, a signal has been sent. If you have a handbag, and you’re unsure, you could close that, perhaps put some gloves on.

Without looking directly at you, or even seeming to notice you, the person next to you stands up into the aisle, allowing you to pass.

It’s silent, it’s magic, and it maintains the illusion that no-one need ever disturb anyone else.

You mumble a subdued “Thank you”, which is, at most, acknowledged with a nod, and get off the bus.
