I will be making post on Tech, Business, Visa procedures, chances of getting visas etc on the thread soon. Just keep following. I mean so long its not derailed through tribal fistcuffs

PrincessofDSS:

Talking about business or tech, what kind of business or tech do one indicate while applying for their visa?

Please elaborate

Thank you in advance
Travel / Re: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by CalmTravels: 6:14am On Jul 21, 2023
Cost of the visa should be the least of your worries! The paperwork, where its coming from & purpose should be your worries....that's what counts!

OBTOREPA:

The visa is how much?

Rwanda. Anything from Nigeria is viewed with suspicion. For us to be able to help, the time line is 9 months with different stages, and application must be done through Rwanda. Only then can we assure you of its success.

Pius4luv2023:

Do you apply with your Nigeria passport or do you apply with your Rwanda Passport ?

Most lot of money made in the USA is usually through illegal ways like laundering for cartels & getting a cut. Say for instance you own a barbing saloon, a cartel can use your business to lauder narcotic proceeds from your area to them. With time you get caught though. There is no escaping it. But say, you work minimum wage......hahahahahhahaha debt go finish the person!

Yankee101:
If you want money come to America
If you want average go to Europe
If you want our Ghana, go to Canada

Population has no real bearing on development.......the best country on earth to live is Switzerland, what population do they have? What matter is structure of the economy & good govt. Otherwise, everyone would be flocking to India or China!

vickin407:
Have you checked the population of Sweden... compared to most of those countries mentioned above..

Well, i do not live in the UK, but if getting a cleaner job or doing some other meagre job is what you mean......give it to the UK......Valkomen!!! As a test, though, if you have a friend in Stockholm, Dresden & London, kindly put them to a test, ask them to send you money no matter how like. I tell you, both Dresden & Stockholm will come through, while London will tell tales....lol. This i guess should tell you all you need to know. Danke

SpicyMimi:

Have you lived in U.K? Who told you getting jobs in U.K is difficult like Sweden?
Travel / Re: Things I Found Out About Sweden! by CalmTravels: 5:54am On Jul 21, 2023
Read to comprehend, do not be combative all the time.... Is the UK/France/Greece/Italy not in a pitiable condition? Call anyone who live there, they will tell you their story. Europe is not Africa where Govt hide sensitive economic data. I am telling you where you stand a fair chance of actually making real, standard income quickly. Most bank managers that sold everything they had, flew to London are cleaners today. Do you call that well planned migration?

I have no issue with anyone going where their heart pleases, but get proper information else, it might end with nights of crying & regrets!

SpicyMimi:

Typical…because you live in Sweden, other countries are ugly Abi? Like seriously…you need to outgrow this way of thinking as you are now in a civilised community.

Was there in 2021, many immigrants doing delivery jobs, airport cleaners and McDonald's attendants.

Beautiful country, very expensive and well planned.

Aside I.T jobs, it's highly recommended to learn the language for one to get an average corporate job.

Some friendship are a burden..... The white are not used to our social kind of bonding. For instance its common for you to buy free booze for people, friends, enemy alike, here it sound stupid. Everyone gat to pay their own bill.
So if they sense your friendship is demanding or parasitic, they pull the curtail, otherwise, they can be great help on hard stuffs like sending invitation, or writing recommendations. If a Schengen citizen or EEA/EU citizen stand for you, my dear forget it! You will get what you asked for

tyup:

The truth is, it'll get boring with time cuz there's no one to share how your day with or anyone to talk to just yourself. Sweds are nice people but not typa people that gives room for friendship. it'd be a long route to depression with time.

Have not really lived long in Austria, just a couple of days en route elsewhere. But i'd say, rather than Austria, give Germany a try!

What is your opinion about Austria?

IT skills best suits a cashless & contactless economy which is what the Swedish economy is..... Asking what IT Skills entails means you are not in the IT Sector.

Would you rather $3000 in Cape Town, Lagos, London, Stockholm or New York? With the above options, Stockholm remains my pick! For obvious reasons known to all. Not sayin g the other cities aint though, if you live in Stockholm you will understand why its my pick

lexy2014:

$3000 a month will make u live like a king anywhere in d world not just in Sweden. That's about 2.3m in Nigeria. That can make a huge difference in anyone's life. The question is how accessible are such income opportunities?

Specific skills groups, as one of the ways to tackle the absence of workers in key sectors across all Member States

The report by the EURES, has published a list with some of the most sought-after professions in the EU, with some of them being a shortage occupation in as many as 16 countries. According to EURES, the following professions are the top 20 most wanted across the EU:

* Bricklayers and related workers
* Carpenters and joiners
* Heavy truck and lorry drivers
* Metal working machine tool setters and operators
* Nursing professionals
* Plumbers and pipe fitters
* Building and related electricians
* Welders and flame cutters
* Concrete placers, concrete finishers and related workers
* Sheet metal workers
* Floor layers and tile setters
* Software developers****** VERY IMPORTANT
* Cooks
* Building construction labourers
* Electrical mechanics and fitters
* Applications programmers****** VERY IMPORTANT
* Generalist medical practitioners
* Bus and tram driver
* Motor vehicle mechanics and repairers
* Specialist medical practitioners

Professions like graphic and multi-media designers, administrative and executive, journalists, interior designers and decorators, shop sale assistants, etc., will have a hard time getting a work visa for EU as they are surplus un the majority of the Member States. Some are even doing drugs..... i met a Somalian yesterday smoking on one of the main streets tourists pass through, because i was searching for a bakery to buy fresh bread, not supermarket bread, the moment he saw me, chairman rush cross road and was asking for 50SEK to buy food. And i asked him why smoking in full view of the whites, as this will reduce his value......he was just smiling and giving incoherent excuses....

These are the first Africans they gave papers for free.... Seeing that they only hope for that free monthly stipends from counties, they just leave them to their fate. I am not the picture type, I just give the idiot 20SEK telling to stop smoking or he will die from smoking. Well, with his paper, he gets free health care, So he can smoke himself!

Like i said earlier on......seeking to leave naija through schooling has cast. Fees are high, visa rejection is high. The new bae now is business, especially in the IT Sector. But no one can refuse you visa if your intention is greener pasture clearly stated in your application. We done run am for three people now. They know you are highly skilled, and a company is sending you down here. The company covers the insurance for you. If you do anyhow, the company simply writes them to revoke your visa. So using it as a cover to do yahoo yahoo wont work. You can easily get a 1-3yr Schengen work visa using our service, but you must be highly skilled IT person and have at least funds to cover your living expenses for one month.

Caveat: If you have ever done any illegality that makes your passport flagged, or change any kind of information that may bring queries, keep off!

Let me tell you a short story of how our Nigerian brothers behave here. Some of them do shitty jobs, no offense please & carry a shitty altitude with it.

I have whites calling me sir, knowing the kind of connect that brought me to their country. Even at the airport, the immigrations are surprised. I am key to their economy so i can talk to the immigration as i like. Abeg no think say i dey bragg oohhhhh!

When i run into them, they always mistake that i am an American or Brit, they will be showing all kinds of respects, seeking friendships & all that. The moment they find out or maybe i tell them i am Nigerian, because me i dey always like to speak naija pigin when ever i see a fellow Nigerian, come see how they change, trying to impress it on you that they are important whereas na shitty jobs they do..... Las las, they will start telling you to connect them. No be juju be that?
My living abroad for many years has taught me that you dont need to impress anyone that you are important. What you are is actually nobody'd business but yours only!

When you live amongst them you will understand. 9ja matter self worst pass racism. A situation were a fellow countryman go hate he's brother. Among all the immigrants in foreign countries, blacks are the least race that have unity/brotherly love.

Nigerians are everywhere, the good ones, the bad ones as well. I showed two fellows the way to the Metro this morning a man & a woman. They thought am an American until i told them i am a full blooded naija dude. Guess what? That crooked Nigerian corrupt practice was what they were reporting to me, about the extortion of Nigerians seeking renewal of passports from Stockholm. To the point that they dont allow you to enter the embassy with your mobile phones! They want me to do something about it, but there's little i can do if i am not allowed to go in with my mobile phones cos here, evidence is everything!

Can we really redeem Nigeria?

That's a standardised economy.

Most other European countries are flocking to the Scandinavia. Germany is over stressed. Might go burst like UK if care is not taken

IVORY2009:

Even Germany is not easy at the moment, the refugees crisis and asylum seekers have spoilt the country, getting a job after graduation in Germany can be very hard now, even if you understand the German language.

If you dont know your way around you will be spending like a crazy monster...

This is pure wheat bread. I bought it at Coop S/per market for 65SEK approximately $6.5. If you take just 6 slice your belly don full. This two load would serve me for one week. One part of my three square meal is served, though with fish/chicken and petty other stuff. But another person would decide to buy the one 200SEK....

Here if you want to burn their holy book, its allowed. They call it freedom of choice. If it is not ok for you, go back to where it is ok for you. They are Swedes, and doesnt want to be something else. They are seeing what France has turned into.

Gerrard59:

That should be mainly in tech. But why survive when you can thrive by learning the language? Una go enter country where English is not spoken begin dey ask if one can survive with only English or complain say they don't know how to speak English. Una no read the country before una apply to am? Shey if the person learns Swedish, he or she can integrate fully and enjoy his/her stay?

BTW, Swedish universities are way more expensive than British or Candian counterparts. Similar to US levels. Scholarships are extremely competitive, and student visas are hard to come by. No be 90K Nigerians wey apply for one kind scholarship the other month? grin

They are even mulling laws to curtail migration because of wetin Arabs don cause for Stockholm. They are learning from their Danish brothers.

In Europe, if its not Germany, Scandinavia or Switzerland, forget it! The others are in pitiable condition especially UK

pansophist:

Nigerians just do not want to learn another language. Too stuck in their old ways. There is no Western English country that I like. Australia and New Zealand are too far, Ireland and the UK is an islands, and you can only enter by flying, instead of driving.

Malta is also an Island, while the US and Canada are so huge, that living there feels like living in a forest. I don't like their governmental system as well. As far as the West is concerned, I prefer the non-English speaking ones.

If you live in Germany for example, you share a border with about nine different countries, making holidays easy. You can just wake up at 2am and drive to Switzerland. Isn't that beautiful?
