Many tech jobs do not need you going to the university. There are many successful tech guys who are self taught and some went to boot camps not university. So you are wrong.

I'm not wrong I'm just generalizing, should be obvious.

There are exceptions to everything but these people who manage to get into IT with talent and self taught skill are an exceptional minority group.
With exceptional skills and abilities you don't need education in many professions.
There are many successful writers, musicians, painters, craftsmen, chefs, designers, drug dealers, scammers, inventors, youtubers etc. who don't have a degree..

I shouldn't have to explain this, should be obvious.
Most people don't have exceptional talent, most people don't fall into the category that you're referring to so it's more or less irrelevant to the point.

He can deferre his admission when he get there, and hustle.

Have you ever been in scandinavia?

I've come across so many africans in Finland (nordic, not scandi but it's the same thing really) who came from some other schengen country that has lower salaries looking for a job and then realizing that you can't hustle or get a job just like that.

I mean, if you sell pineapples on the street you'll get arrested and fined lol, it's not like africa where you can just buy a thing and then sell it forward and nobody asks any questions.
And if yiu fail to find a job within a certain time limit they'll deport you.

Receiving salary in cash is illegal so you must have a bank account and to open a bank account you need residency and so on...

Also scandinavians are very unsocial so you will be left out and very lonely if you don't know anybody there already.

Whenever I read this board it really boggles my mind how little research people do about the countries they talk about.

Moving to any scandinavian country with 1m naira is an extremely dumb idea.

yea, Scandinavian countries, Thier schools are admission free,if he can secure Thier admission, someone can sponsor him..

1 million is barely enough to live poorly for more than a few weeks in scandinavia assuming you won't spend everything on actually getting there lol.

Of course anything is possible but some attempts are plain stupid.

Guy, I have some questions:

Is french widely spoken in Benin? I want to come for an Immersion course in french there and I want to interact with only french speaking people.

What is the cost of a decent Sefcon in Cotonou?

Everyone here speaks french and some speak english, benin is a french speaking country.
English is just a foreign language, benin is good for learning french.

Self contained, 1 room and parlour 30-35k.

Based on my experiences most of these nigerians in europe are losers who work menial, low skilled jobs, live in a tiny home and waste all their savings on having a lifestyle that seems lavish to nigerians back home.

Obviously these people want to brag to make themselves feel better about themselves when most people around them in rich countries are doing much better than them and have much better jobs while these people are on the bottom of the society there.

Don't get me wrong, there are successful ones too but I've never seen one post it on social media, it's always these labourer losers.
Have you ever seen doctors, professors and lawyers brag about their european life online?

I'm european-born living in africa, this is the truth from my point of view.
I don't know how it's like in america but I suspect these people are usually inovlved in drug trafficking unless they have a tech job or something similar but getting a degree that will get you a 120k USD peryear job you'd have to pay 20k USD a year for university so it still doesn't make much sense.
Or maybe it's just bank money but whatever it is it's not only what they tell and make you see.

Akunatakasi:

what are the possible questions..

Note: it's marriage visa

Having dealt with nigerian immigration:

"do you have something for me?"

Jokes aside your friend should call the embassy and they will tell you exactly what you need, no reason to be asking here.

Cotonou sucks, I think it's a very boring place and there are much nicer places in benin than that.
Porto novo is way better although it's small and less international, the people in porto novo are much friendier too.

It's just the buziest, dirtiest, most polluted and fastest growing city but it has zero character and people go there just for work.

The economy is oversaturated with nigerians moving in to offer all the same old services so there's no money to be made in any usual, basic business so if anybody comes here to hustle don't expect to make a single naira more with your business over here than you would in nigeria.
In cotonou this is a big issue because if there's one customer wanting to repair their phone or buy a pair of shoes, there's ten nigerians pushing their services so at the end nobody makes good profit unles they can offer a unique service that has no competition.

Benin is not a hidden gem, most nigerians are not doing well here.
It's still a nice country but it's nothing special.

Cotonou is overrated, benin is underrated.

Oh, cool.

I live in benin, if you have any questions just ask.

Be sure to respect the locals and their language, nigerians tend to have a bad reputation for coming here and acting like it's their backyard.
