"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth" So my friend Almighty God cannot be exalted because he is Almighty and does not need to be exaulted, it is Jesus that was exalted by his father Jehovah or YAWEH, which is the name of God. |

Why would a loving creator burn one forever for a sin he/she committed in a very short life time. Even as wicked as we humans are our justice system extremely humane compared to that. The disobedience of Adam and Eve is the cause of all the bad things we see today. Their punishment was to return to the dust where they came from. Not to Hellfire. Imagine this for God to say from dust you came to dust you shall return. Before they where created they were non existent so returning to dust will put then back to that same state of non existence. The saints will resurrect in the first resurrection to rule with christ and establish his kindgom for a thousand years.. By then the remnants of the easth that survived the great triblutation will still be left behind. Satan will be set free for a while of which he will go and decieve the remnants of the generation from the city of gog and magog.. Gog is actually russia. To go to war with him @ the armagedon of which God will defeat them and have them thrown alive into the lake of fire along with death and hades.. But actually the likes of death and hades are entities and also a place.m have u asked where the lake will come from..? Its going tro be an opening on the earth.. Of which the compartments of hades and death in the underworld will be added to it. they will all continue to exist although in torment but considered. Dead . Then the judgment will come. Those who will not be participating in the 1st resurrection will be resurrected , judged and cast alive in physical flesh into the lakeThe lake of fire in revelation is not a literal place, it is symbolic signifying everlasting destruction. That is why it says death and hades will be thrown into the lake of fire too. Think of if death and hades cannot suffer pain they are inanimate. Rev: 20:7-15 tells us that these ones will be thrown into the lake of fire which means the second death which is eternal destruction. The same thing will happen to hell, death will all be thrown into the lake of fire which means that they will be non - existent just the same way that those who choose not to obey will be non - existent. This is the true teaching of GOD'S word the bible. |

Take for instance the bible account of lazarus, he was a good man when he died yet it was not mentioned anywhere in the bible that he was in heaven neither did he say that when Jesus resurrected him after being dead for 4 days. John 11:11. Here after learning of lazarus death Jesus told his disciples that lazarus was sleeping. Why did Jesus liken death to sleep? Because it is the same state of unconsciousness except that the one sleeping is breathing. John 11:21-25. No mention is made of lazarus of being in heaven at death. Jesus was in the same state of unconsciousness for those three days that he was dead. It was after God resurrected him that he went to heaven.Acts 2:31-36 interestingly in these scripture mention is made plainly that David did not ascend to heaven. Even Jesus confided in Mary in John 5: 17 after his ressurection that he has not ascended to the father. |

The bible never teaches that we go anywhere at death. What the Bible teaches is that there is going to be a resurrection. John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15. These verses teaches that there is going to be a resurrection for both the righteous and the unrighteous. So anyone who dies today is unconscious in the grave until the day of resurrection, for judgement and judgement day is not a 24hr day but a period of 1000 years. Rev 20:7,8. So these lunatics will be among the millions of unrighteous resurrected ones who will have the opportunity to learn to live according to God’s standards under christ reign. At the end of christ millennium reign every one at that time will have been made perfect by means of Jesus rulership and that of his co-rulers Rev.5:10. Rev 20:6. At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be let loose according to revelation for the final test. This is what the Bible teaches. Hellfire doctrine is demonic it was brought into Christianity to make it easy for pagans to convert to Christianity. So is the doctrine of Trinity, Christmas celebration. Easter etc they all have pagan origin. |

CanadaCars: The scriptures prove that Jesus is Michael the archangel, consider the following scriptures with an open mind,Do you get the message? There is only one archangel mentioned in the bible, the bible says "the archangel". So there is only one angel who have authority over all the angels, and that is Michael. Aside from His father only Jesus is mentioned in the bible as having authority over angels. (Matthew 13:41; 16:27; 24:31), 2 Thessalonians 1:7 mentions Jesus and his powerful angels. 1 Peter 3:22 says angels and authority was made subject to him. Now lets scrutinize these scripturally established facts with an open mind, If we assume that Jesus is the overall over all the angels including Michael the archangel, this assumption will fall flat if we consider the scripture in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, why will Jesus command with the voice of Micheal the archangel as authority to resurrect the faithful dead if he(Jesus) is superior to him(michael)? Doesn't make sense right? Remember he also came with the trumpet of God, which makes perfect sense because the Father is greater than him he gets authority from the Father to resurrect. From the foregoing it is scripturally logical to say that Jesus is Michael the archangel, that is why he came with the commanding voice of Micheal the archangel. I read in the thread people using Jude 9 to disprove that Jesus is the archangel, When Jesus said "May the Lord rebuke you" which Lord was he reffering to? Look at the preface of your bible, your bible translators say in that preface that whenever the capital letter "L" is used for Lord is is reffering to the almighty God and whenever is used lower case "l" it is reffering to the son. Now Jude 9 used the upper case L for Lord, so Jesus was reffering to his Father, the almighty God, so Jesus statement did not disprove Him being Michael the archangel. It is hard for alot of people to accept this fact that Jesus is the archangel because this will prove the doctrine of trinity false, which it is, the bible did not teach that God is a trinity. Rather the Father who is Almighty raised Jesus who is not equal to him from the dead and exalted him to a high position above every other created thing both in heaven and on earth because Jesus died faithfully for all mankind. 1 cor 15:27 and 28, says Jesus is subject to the One who exalted him. If we approach the scriptures with an open mind the truth in it is not hard to find, the truth they say hurts, and most times it is not popular, all you guys bashing the Jehovah's Witnesses are just following popular opinion, the JWs are the ones teaching the truth in God's word the bible, follow what the bible teaches and not popular opinions even though it is unpopular. The scriptures prove that Jesus is Michael the archangel, consider the following scriptures with an open mind, ACCORDING to the Bible, there are millions of angelic creatures inhabiting the spirit realm. (Daniel 7:9, 10; Revelation 5:11) From beginning to end, the Scriptures make hundreds of references to the angels that remain loyal to God. Yet, only two of these spirit creatures are mentioned by name. One is the angel Gabriel, who personally delivered messages from God to three different individuals over a period of some 600 years. (Daniel 9:20-22; Luke 1:8-19, 26-28) The other angel mentioned by name in the Bible is Michael. Michael is clearly an outstanding angel. For example, in the book of Daniel, Michael is described as fighting wicked demons in behalf of God’s people. (Daniel 10:13; 12:1) In the inspired letter of Jude, Michael confronts Satan in a dispute over Moses’ body. (Jude 9) The book of Revelation shows that Michael wars with Satan and his demons and hurls them out of heaven. (Revelation 12:7-9) No other angel is portrayed as having such great power and authority over God’s enemies. It is no wonder, then, that the Bible appropriately refers to Michael as “the archangel,” the prefix “arch” meaning “chief,” or “principal" Aside from Michael, no archangel is mentioned in the Bible, nor do the Scriptures use the term “archangel” in the plural. The Bible describes Michael as the archangel, implying that he alone bears that designation. Hence, it is reasonable to conclude that God has delegated to one, and only one, of his heavenly creatures full authority over all other angels. Aside from the Creator himself, only one faithful person is spoken of as having angels under subjection—namely, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 13:41; 16:27; 24:31) The apostle Paul made specific mention of “the Lord Jesus” and “his powerful angels.” (2 Thessalonians 1:7) And Peter described the resurrected Jesus by saying: “He is at God’s right hand, for he went his way to heaven; and angels and authorities and powers were made subject to him.”—1 Peter 3:22. Yet, he speaks with “an archangel’s voice.” Note, too, that he has the power to raise the dead. While on earth as a human, Jesus performed several resurrections. In doing so, he used his voice to utter commanding calls. For example, when resurrecting the dead son of a widow in the city of Nain, he said: “Young man, I say to you, Get up!” (Luke 7:14, 15) Later, just before resurrecting his friend Lazarus, Jesus “cried out with a loud voice: ‘Lazarus, come on out!’” (John 11:43) But on these occasions, Jesus’ voice was the voice of a perfect man. After his own resurrection, Jesus was raised to a “superior position” in heaven as a spirit creature. (Philippians 2:9) No longer a human, he has the voice of an archangel. So when God’s trumpet sounded the call for “those who are dead in union with Christ” to be raised to heaven, Jesus issued “a commanding call,” this time “with an archangel’s voice.” It is reasonable to conclude that only an archangel would call “with an archangel’s voice.” Yes, there are other angelic creatures of high rank, such as seraphs and cherubs. LUKE 19:11, Acts 1:6,7. His apostles once wronlgy interpreted something he said, John 21:22 to 23, but the Bible does not classify them as false prophets. In 1 Chron. 17:1-4, 15, Nathan the prophet encouraged King David to go ahead with what was in his heart regarding the building of a house for God’s worship. But later God told Nathan to inform David that he was not the one who would build it. God did not reject Nathan for what he had said earlier but continued to use him because he humbly corrected the matter when God made it plain to him. Matters on which corrections of viewpoint have been needed have been relatively minor when compared with the vital Bible truths that they have discerned and publicized. Among these are the following: (1)Jehovah is the only true God. (2)Jesus Christ is not part of a Trinitarian godhead but is the only-begotten Son of God. (3)Redemption from sin is possible only through faith in Christ’s ransom sacrifice. (4)The holy spirit is not a person but is Jehovah’s active force, and its fruitage must be evident in the lives of true worshipers. (5)The human soul is not immortal, as the ancient pagans claimed; it dies, and the hope for future life is in the resurrection. (6)God’s permission of wickedness has been because of the issue of universal sovereignty. (7)God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind. (  Since 1914 we have been living in the last days of the global wicked system of things. (9)Only 144,000 faithful Christians will be kings and priests with Christ in heaven, whereas the rest of obedient mankind will receive eternal life on a paradise earth. Another factor to consider regarding the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses is this: (1)Have these truly uplifted people morally? (2)Are those who adhere to these teachings outstanding in their communities because of their honesty? (3)Is their family life beneficially influenced by applying these teachings? (4)Jesus said that his disciples would be readily identified because of having love among themselves. (John 13:35) Is this quality outstanding among Jehovah’s Witnesses? Overall I found only Jehovah's Witnesses as the only religion that follows the teachings of the sriptures closely, the truth is bitter but it must be told. 2 Likes |
