Questions asked at the border :

Asked if I've been to UK bfr I said yes
She asked for CAS and I showed her on my phone
She asked why I chose the course I told her
What I was doing in Nig bfr
Did I do d aplication by myself?
She asked when my sch is resuming and I told her I have to be in sch tmr
Then she took my fingerprint and that was all.

You will need BVN to register as NIN is no longer going thru. It's 30k payment online. When you get to the office for biometrics don't give any police any money again o. Just dribble them with jokes and waka inside.

Well, it depends on what you're going for.im going for PGCE Special Education and I'll work with children. They already said I will do DBS over there and most likely they will need Nigeria police report so I did it already .

Wow,, I can't believe I applied for police character certificate online yesterday, went for biometrics today and got it already. Nigeria is becoming better BUT some bad eggs are still in the system.
I got there today n was directed to the office. Along the way as I'm moving different people were asking " who is helping you, who did you pay to" I said I did it myself. Getting to the office area two police officers sat at the corridor and beckoned. The elderly man asked which office I was going to I told him. Then he said give this woman 10k I said oga I don't have . He said jokingly if you don't have 10k then you will have 20k now. I said I don't have any, that if I had he wouldn't even ask me before I dash him then I turned into joke with him ,I also told him I've paid online so he knew I'm aware not to pay anything extra. Then he said ok go to the office whether the people there will be willing to do it without taking anything. I got to rhe office did my Bio and the man said madam you can go. The people inside the Possap office were on muftis. You see those police in uniform many of them are thieves. As I came out he saw two ladies going for the same thing and quicky hijacked them. They should find a way to flush such officers out of the system.

It costs 30k do it yourself don't let anyone collect extra money from you. Go to the police Character report website of the Nigerian Police Force. See here https://possap.gov.ng

I did mine outside Nigeria on that website and the Nigerian Police Force mailed it to me in a Pdf format. I repeat it only costs 30k and everything will be done on that website with your credit card.

After you've done it go to alagbon for your biometric capture if you are in Lagos and if outside Lagos go to the NPF State Headquarters you reside in that's if you are still in Nigeria and if you are abroad already NPF would email a biometric form for you to thumbprint, scan and send back to them. You'll get it within 72hrs.

Please, is police report no longer a requirement for student visa? All the people that have listed the documents they submitted to obtain their visa never mentioned that they submitted police report. Pls your responses will be appreciated.

Please, would you advice that one shldnt disclose previous visa refusals to schs so as to get CAS from them. Definitely I will disclose it to UKVI when I get to that point. But 2 schs refused to issue CAS cos of previous refusals, though one of them didn't link it to the refusals(they said I didn't pass the preCAS interview) bt I guess it's cos I disclosed the refusals bt the other sch said it dt getting a visa might be a risk. I have 5 UK refusals( one bfr my UK visit and 4 after), 1 US, 1 Schenghen and 1 Canada study perrmit. Pls advise.

It's normal to feel this way. If you have the money right now, JUST START your POF. There's no benefit or advantage of always waiting till the first day of the month to start your POF.

Also, your school might even delay your CAS (You may think they'll issue it the same day, while they issue it 1 or 2 weeks after. Different schools and their wahala)

Also, your refusals may also trigger NSF(I hope not), just trying to let you know there's no time like that. Just do it.

Please did you declare these refusals to the school? Because I've had two schs refused to give me CAS because I told them about past refusals. So I'm thinking not to disclose to the next sch.

Pls what does it mean when ukvi says POF statement shldnt be more than 31 days?
Secondly, is my IHS fee supposed to be in POF for 28 days too?

Hiding it from the school can be debatable. BTW, can you name the 2 schools?

Pls I'd like to ask if I don't disclose previous visa refusals to University in the UK wld it have an effect? I mean wld dy know on the long run? Because I've disclosed the refusals I've had to 2 unis and because of that, they withdrew the admission offer they gave me. Some ppl said I shldnt have disclosed to the sch but I shld disclose during my student visa application .But isn't it indicated on CAS whether the student has refusal or not

What time were you able to log in to book pls? Cos I tried severaly and the site was saying "max users" so I cldnt log in. But I'm aware they only open their booking site on Mondays by 8 or 9am.
