Hi Bacteria and everyone, thanks for your response. Pls how much in naira is the £147.50 for ECCTIS? The person who paid for me paid with Euro and said the conversion is 190knaira. Pls is ECCTIS up to that? By the way she's my sister so I'm not going to pay her that much but out of curiosity I want to know how much the ECCTIS fee is in naira.

You can't use naira card for international payment.

CBN already cancelled that since last December.

Get a dollar card.

There's also a virtual dollar card (GTBank and Zenith bank I don't know about others)

Or you can get someone from outside to help you make payment while you transfer the money to them.

If it's possible to liase with your employer to state that they will cater to you for the Ist mth or so(even if they aren't going to do it eventually) I think you may not even need to show any POF. Try and talk to your employer just writing. I pray he/she understands.

You may have to add pics of you and your bf together and maybe chats (I dunno if the chats wld be really necessary) but something to show he's truly a close person as you claimed.

I have been to the UK before but ever since I returned my visa has always been denied because back then I told them I'll stay for 2 wks BT ended up staying 4mths( my visa didn't expire though) that was in 2011/2012, I've written to explain why. I still applied for visit in 2018 and was still refused so I guessed dy banned me but didn't inform me. But right now I want to go thru the healthcare route but I dunno if those previous refusals will work against me.
Secondly, I live in Benin Republic now, I currently lecture in 2 Universities. BUT the issue is that, Benin schs aren't really organized in the sense that, they are franchises so an individual gets d license Frm govt and sells franchise to many ppl who will open branches of the University. So I currently work in two (diff schs) but salaries are peanuts and paid in naira and also not paid directly frm account DT reflects the sch name. Its d owner of d franchises DT pays from dia own personal acct. So I used this doc in applying for Canadian study permit and was denied. Now I want to face UK thru care work, do you think they will also request for my work info when I'm applying for visa? Pls what can I do as I don't have any other work I can claim. And I don't have anyone that owns an hospital that I can give money to be paying me salary mthly and act as my employer. I need help pls.

From personal experience, the two institutions I needed their Medium of instruction refused to address to Whom it may concern, they requested foe ECCTIS address to be written on the letter. I guess its an avenue to generate funds for the schools. so you have no choice but to go back each time the need arises for MOI.
But If your school agrees to address to Whom it may concern, Then Lucky you.

Second refusal march 29 hmmmm

Repackaged and reapplied the third time
Submission may 3rd.
PPR may 18th. Truly what God cannot do does not exist. Keep trusting God yours is the next.

Yes, your sister in Canada can pay your visa fees. My brother in Canada did pay for mine.

I made this post an hour ago and just few mins ago, my PPR dropped. First time study permit applicant. Did it my self.
Applied for visit visa last Oct 2022, ppr dropped April 19th. Just collected my passport 3 days ago.

Submitted my Study permit application May 2, 2023. PPR dropped tonight.

Used Ethiopia airlines through Abuja 26th April. Immigration officials were friendly and even allowed my parents go with me past the traveller only section. I came in about two hours to the flight. At The check in section, the Ethiopian airlines official in charge of checking come day do busybody: passport, admission letter, log into student portal let me see (for my mind I say Shay I go hold visa if I no carry all this things)

After that Paid for my extra baggage( To me it is better to pay for extra baggage in naira in Nigeria than come here and be using scarce FX for food and the rest )

At the airport in Toronto there were a lot of us and all they did was take our Letter of introduction then we signed declaration or whatever form through a machine like an ATM and then they gave us the permits. I didn't see them ask any body any question.

You can also get your SIN number at the airport but there might be a queue. Also do not change dollars at the airport. I opened CIBC bank at the airport and changed in their branch in the city for a very good rate. Got SIM card there as well. From there to my BNB and moved May 2 to my apartment. Finding private bathroom was so stressful, almost all the apartments were sharing bathrooms but got at last

So currently I'm in London Ontario for Fanshawe. If you are around here as well holla.
